Having enjoyed a brief stay in the grass village it was about time Zuri chose a new destination, flipping through the many maps he had seen sitting around in the library during his many long nights of medical studies he tried to remember all of the nations nearby that reportedly have a hidden village in them. Other than his former home of stone the closest ones he could think of were rain and fire, neither of which held much of an appeal to him. He was in need of a more remote area where he could train and prove his skills to the people there before dealing with everything else, such places were limited. By following these guide lines his choice were narrowed to the Land of Water to the east and the Land of Snow far to the north. Not being much for cold weather Zuri went with the choice of Water. He had quite the journey ahead of him to get all the way to water he would have to get out of grass and also pass through the massive fire country.
Using the sun which had only just recently came up over the horizon as his compass, he turned to the east and ventured forth across the slowly unfolding landscape. The base of his boots wet with the dew from the blades of grass that he brushed against with each passing step. There was no apparent path for him to follow but from the maps he was well aware of what his path would be. He had no idea how far in to the Land of Grass he had travelled but he knew that the border in to fire was signified by the start of a massive forrest. In the open Grass Country once the sun got to it's highest point it would get quite hot and Zuri had little water left so he picked up his pace hoping to make it into the cover of the forrest before the sun rose too high.
Now running at top speed through the fields, the ground beneath Zuri slowly began to incline higher and higher until he reached the peak of a small hill. He was standing on top of the first of many small hills that seperated him and the forrest that he could just barely make out in the distance at the other end of the hills. He wasted no time as he quickly took off down the hill. It took atleast two hours before he reached the other end of the hills and stood before the forrest. The trees were massive hundreds of feet tall, much higher than he had anticipated, he stood in awe of these trees, nothing like anything he had yet seen in his life. A few moments passed before he snapped back to reality and remembered he had no time to waste. He had reached the fire nation, if his memory served him well then he should head due east until he reached a massive body of water which he would need to find a way across to reach the Land of Water.
