Arashi swiflty opened the sliding doors of the dojo and ran quickly within the building, skipping past many other students that had been here since the break of dawn to practice on their techniques, but in all honesty. Arashi had never been here for any other reason then errands, now he had a purpose here, he wanted to be taught the amazing and magnifcent art of Kenpo, to fight off against any opponent who attempted to stop him in such a cruel and rude manner. Quickly he arrived at the final door where the Master of the entire Dojo remained behind closed doors. " Excuse me is Master Higaonna, are you busy?" Arashi asked as the man responded with a soft and subtle come in, without making a sound or noise he slid open the next pair of doors and entered the room and found the old man sitting behind a desk with a pad set infront of it, the man opened his palm and offered the spot to the young Arashi, and with humble attitude he leaned down and knelt down on the soft pillow to speak with the man. "What brings you here child." he asked Arashi with a curious tone of voice, like an old cat. " I have been waiting all my life to get out of the village, and one of the might samurai outside the village knows this style of training, I want to learn it from the best. I am ready to dedicate myself to the Art of Kenpo." Arashi said quite enthuised but at the same time, softly for respect for the man.
The elder turned his head in intrest, " A Student, I havent had a trainee, in years, I usually send children like you too the other teachers but you seem quite hesitant with me training you." he said with a lifted eyebrow. "I havent had any fun in sometime as well, I shall take you up on your offer Arashi, but you will have to listen to every single word that comes from my mouth, and obey each with no doubt." the elder trainer answered him and with excitment Arashi nearly jumped from his seat as the old man stood back up, and began to move to the door. " No time like the present child, lets begin immediatly." he said opening the door, Arashi quickly got to his feet and ran to the door, quickly going through the opened door his sensei was closing behind him. Quickly the child led the Raiyate child through out the dojo and brought him to a private chamber for Arashi to train within. Revealing the old and quite dusty room for the both of them to train. " Here we are child you shall learn you first stance in Kenpo in here, right now." the elder stated as Arashi stood within the middle of the room. Arashi turned his head back to his master and bowed in respect.
Arashi watched as his master walked infront of them and began to show him the very first stance. The old man moved around the room with ease and agile skips. Gently tucking his heels against each other be began the stance. Lowering his hands to his sides the elder finished the instruction for the technique. " This is the Attention stance, tis the basic stance of all Kenpo artists. once you learn this you can advance further into the other stances, and thus other techniques." the man stated as he awaited Arashi to perform the simple task. Arashi slowly focued himself to complete the stance his teacher had just shown him. Simply closing the gap inbetween his legs, he put his feet together, with the heels nearly touching each other as he lowered his hands down to his sides, quite a simple stance for anyone to master, requiring a simple amount of concentration and will to complete. " Is this correct Master." Arashi asked softly as he kept his figure stoic and straight before the man. " Yes child that is correct, you have the correct position, good now we can begin teaching you the offensive and defensive stances. That will provide you with even more techniques for you to master and accomplish." the elder finished as he was begining to reveal the next stance to the child. " I am prepared Master." Arashi said confidnetly.
