Kisuke felt like he had mastered the earth technique. He walked until he could see a small oasis. I don't think I should keep training water jutsu. But if I can master it maybe there will be a way to substitute the water needed for them. He stood up and walked into the water and waded. He closed his eyes and thought. "Should I? .....Yes."
He pulled out a small scroll that contained a water jutsu. "Hmm...Hidden mist eh? This will work very well just in case I have no more smoke bombs." He closed his eyes and made handseals. Mist rose up from the water he was standing in and surronded him up to his hips. It disappeared over time sinking back into the water. Mist still sparkled on the top of the water, but eventually sank down.
Kisuke said nothing, he had been through this before it takes time to prevail. He made the same handseals and mist came out of the water and twirled around him. It began to spiral up his body and spread out. He watched it and never realized how beautiful it was. It flowed out around his arms and above his head. It felt like he was in a cloud. He could see out of the mist and he knew he did not have it down, far from it, but he took time to apprecate it.
It stayed longer than the last time he tried, but eventually sunk back down into the water leaving no trace it was there. He tried again making diffrent handsigns as it rose out of the water again. It was denser this time and layed thick across the ground. Kisuke ran his hands through it and it was not moved by the air. Kisuke could still see out of the mist and see light.
The ground was almost covered though. It was hard to see rocks and the water. It was dancing around His feet and legs. He felt little drops of it hit his skin. It was cool and relaxing to him. He listened around him and tracted things on the ground. He could hear frogs croaking and jumping, crickets chirping, and fish swimming.
The mist stayed longer than it had, but faded back into the water after a couple of minutes. His hair was wet from the mist and it was refreshing. Kisuke made handsigns again and drew out his crossbow. He shot a bolt out into the mist he made sure it went out about as far as 20 meters.
Kisuke smiled at his improvement but it still wasn't mastered. He decided to try it one more time before taking a break. He made handsigns and waited for a little while. Mist rose out and spiraled around him and went above. It spread out as it reached the top. It made the trees, lights, and ground unseen.
Kisuke saw everything for as far as he could see. His eyes were activated and everything continued looking the same. He deactivated his eyes and saw nothing but mist so he reactivated them again. He threw a Kunai at a tree standing there by itself. As the mist disappeared he saw it had hit the tree right on.
Kisuke sat down on a rock and decided to take a rest. He still stared at the water. It moved so freely and easily in the wind. It was the start of everything, it was life. He stopped thinking like a mad person and layed down and shut his eyes. He kept track of time and it was past midnight now. It was a perfect time to train. He listened as the oasis and felt relaxed.
After an hour he stood back up and decided to continue his training. He went out into the water and waded. It was colder than before, but he did not mind at all. He started his handsigns again. He made a series of them as mist started to build around him.
It came from all sides of the water now. It met in front of Kisuke's face and curled itself back and went up as it collided. It was getting thicker and thicker each time he used the technique. It still did not stay as long as he would had hoped it would. It all eventually settled back down and gradually became clearer.
