Confrontation [Close to Ciel]

Hizuka would wander aimlessly through the streets of Kirigakure for several hours before making up his mind. Hikumi effectively asleep Hizuka would leave the ivllage, his destination was burned firmly into his mind. he did not need any map to find this spot, no directions no guide. This spot meant somethign to Hizuka, a spot where soemthing big happend to him.

As he neared his destination he saw the trees of the forest where he had met Ciel. He walked in a bit exactly where he had before, the memory burn into his mind. With a sorrow filled sigh Hizuka moved to a nearby stump and sat down on it. As he sat Hizuka felt the weight in his heart for the first time. Blinking somewhat stupidly his heart felt like it weid thousands of pounds.

At the stop of motion Hikumi would awaken and say, "Cheer up bro, it's probably just a crush.. I'm sure you'll get over it... I told her how you feel too..." Hizuka shook his head, a blush creeping into his face, "I keep telling you it's not just a crush, but noooo you wont believe me. I was goign to tell her in time..." With a resigned sigh Hiku would shake his head and return to his slumber. Hizu simply sat on the stump thinking back to the whole meeting, replaying it in his head and not expecting anyone to show up in the place of solitude.

Ciel wondered upon the same forest when she had arrived here. It seemed like it had been just a few days ago. Here she had met a very interesting pair and knew she would found them here. After having heard Hiku's words, she was very sure of it. Walking silently through the mist she came upon them. Hiku was speaking to his brother and she came to a stop and listened to their small convo. She smiled slightly and placed her hand on her hips. "You should listen to him you know." She said with a smile on her lips as she started to approach them. "Now i'm interested in hearing about this crush you have." He gaze was directly at Hizu. Her arms slowly wrapped around infront of her chest. Her smile still there.

Hizuka started and turned as her heard Ciel speak. As she crossed her chest his mouthed wordlessly for a moment, blush creeping into his face. "Ciel, you seem well," those were the only words the Futakongo could manage at first. Standing up the Nara looked into Ciel's face for a few beats, thinking on her statement. he would move closer to the woman and say, "Well..."

There would be a brief pause before he moved to wrap his arms around her in a warm embrace and say softly, "I love you..." he would not force the hug on her, though it was something he had wanted to do ever since her met her. Should she allow the hug he would hold her, like that for several beats. He would say, "Well... I guess Hikumi told you that much of it..." The blush on his face would deepen at the mention of his brother announcing his affection for the former Mizukage in front of everyone in the present Mizukage's office.

Ciel just watched as the young boy spoke. She nodded, her smile having yet to desipate. She noticed the redness on his cheeks. He seemed a bit nervious even though she had a feeling he would just try and not to make it seem like he was. Hizu then stood up and started to walk towards her, the young boy seemed to be pondering on something. Her smile disappeared and focused on the boy more. His pause was a bit anticipated by her, but his next actions werent. She returned the awrm embrace, her eyes still on him. His words shocked her some.

"Yes.... he did say something about you having a crush on me, but never anything about you loving me." She replied as she seemed a bit tense now. She was not expecting another person to care for her in that manner. ut she had a feeling he was feeling extremely embarrased since his brother shout it out infront of everyone, and she knew Nagato had said something sleek to them. She took a deep breath a warm smile on her lips. Her hand moved towards his shoulder and placed them there. She broke the embrace.

Her hand moved to touch his cheek and she caressed it. She looked into his eyes, "Why do you think your in love with me... I hope you know that is too much of a big word to be playing around with it." She started as her hand moved to his silver hair and played with it as she continued. "Are you certain that it's not just a simple crush, like your brother is saying? You met me not so long ago, and you speak of love. That I cannot understand. I do think you are mistakig your feelings, unless I am mistaken." Her voice was calm and serene, she just wanted for him to not make a mistake on his feelings.

Her questions were something the Futakongo had though over himself. There was no logical answer for it, yet when were humans logical beings? "I can't explain it. My heart races when I'm around you, I have to make an effort to speak clearly instead of rambling in gibberish." The explination would not stop there, but the Nara needed to shake his head to clear his head to continue, "I can feel it, my heart, my soul are speaking to me in ways I can't quite explain.. They scream to me, 'Don't let that rose slip away!', when you are the only one in my mind."

Each word spoken seemed to lessen the burden in the boy's heart. As he finished speaking he realized how dry his mouth had become. Licking his lips he would say before he could stop himself, "Care to join me for a cup of tea?" He regreted the words the moment they left his mouth, fearing she would say no.

Ciel listened to his words and shook her head. "No, I cannot go with you. I came here because I wanted to make things clear for you. She stepped closer and embraced him in a hug. Her hand on his head and caressing it. "I am sorry but right now I cannot share your feelings. My heart is cold and seems to only react to one person. I cannot explain it myself, and I might as well be wrong. But I do not want to play with your feelings either." She took a deep breath, and then let it out. Now leeting go of him, her hands placed on his cheek.

"Right now I have something in mind, and that something is to help the Mizukage in everything I can. In a way I have no time for feelings but what this man is oing to me is making me have feelings and I might just give in. I am sorry Hizuka, but like I said I cannot return your feelings. Let's stay as friends for now. And I am also sorry I cannot take your invitation. I am heading out early tomorrow for Oto." She smiled sweetly to him and closed her eyes as her lips touched his cheek, leaving a red mark from her lip stick. "If you still wanna be friends with me when I return, i'll treat ya to some tea. but I have to leave now. Wish me luck." She said as she let go of him and started to run back to her home to rest, she would come to a stop in the distance and wave then keep going once more.

Hizuka stood there motionless, the only thing kepping him connected was the kunoichi's touch on his cheek. Closing his eyes, soaking in the touch of the one he loved, then the pain hit. This was no physical pain, yet it was beyond the description of suffering. Something happend when she spoke the painful words, the feeling that his heart had been ripped out of his body, yet not completely smashed. He wanted to weep, as the dreaded words were spoken, yet his heart froze, along with his tears.

The pain overwhelmed him, but he would bring himself to say, "Aye, friends sounds good for now... Know this though... You will always have a place in my heart." As he finished speaking the word he wanted to say raced through his mind, yet he dare not say it. As she suggested treating him to tea the Futakongo said, "How about I buy? We know a great place. Stay safe..."

As he trailed off and she ran, the Nara would add what he had been meaning to say in a tone meant to be heard by none, save himself... "...My love..." When she turned to wave he would wave back, the weights on his heart returned and doubled. The Futakongo would begin to walk when he heard a familiar voice say, "I'm sure things will turn out okay... You need time to get your head straight. I'm sure by the time she gets back you'll have realized this was all one stupid crush and get over it."

Oh how Hikumi could be so cruel at times, even if he didn't mean to be so. "So, you were awake. Did you not hear my words? A crush has never done things like this to me before, and you know it." With that they would walk to the Tea House, their mother was probably still working. Hizuka felt empty inside, hollow, and ready to kill any save one... The woman he had fallen for, Ciel Arisato.
