Kiyomi woke up early in the morning so she could get a head start on her training. If she wanted to be a great ninja she would have to learn as much as possible. She packed a small bag and headed out. She jogged around the village, stopping only to get a kitten out of a tree for a little boy. She continued out of the village and found a quiet spot where there was no one around. She unpacked her things which were only a bottle of water, a sandwich, and her training scroll. After taking a swig of her water she opened the scroll and looked at the first technique listed.
Kiyomi read the instructions on the scroll once more. She focused the chakra that she would need toward her hands. It looked blue. According to the scroll, it was supposed to be more of a green color. She would be filling someone her chakra in order to maintain their oxygen flow. She would be the one keeping that person alive if it ever came down to it. That is what she needed to focus on.
As she concentrated on this thought the chakra in her hands went from their normal blue color to the greenish white color it was supposed to be. Now she needed to properly apply this technique to a living thing. She decided to start with an animal first and then move onto herself once she felt comfortable with it.
She spotted some sort of gopher creature and captured it. She felt bad, but she gave it a swift knock over the head that caused it to go unconscious. She took another piece of the sandwich and guided it down the animal's throat. She focused the greenish chakra to her hands and placed them on the creature's body. She hoped it wouldn't stir in the middle of her technique and choke to death.
She could feel the chakra pushing the obstruction down into the gopher's stomach. That isn't what she wanted. If it were something more lethal trapped in her patient's throat she would need it to come out through the mouth. She worked the chakra toward the mouth. She could feel the creature's tiny lungs expand underneath her hands.
Slowly, the piece of sandwich moved itself up the gopher's throat and into it's mouth. She had saved the animal! She opened it's mouth and removed the regurgitated food and set it on the ground. She wiped her hands off and decided that she would be her own subject. She took a bite of the sandwich and only half swallowed it, allowing it to block her airway.
She laid down and focused the chakra again and placed her hands against her own chest. She had to focus on removing the obstacle in the airway. She could feel the chakra flow into her throat and downwards toward her lungs. Her technique went to work immediately, attempting to remove the blockage. Her throat was beginning to expand, allowing the sandwich to move downwards toward her stomach.
She approached it as she had before and reversed the direction of the chakra, making it move back up to it's original position. The chakra began breaking down the sandwich as well. The sandwich began it's ascent up her throat and into her mouth. It was a disgusting feeling, but at least she had done it.
She looked back to the gopher and decided to practice the jutsu on it one more time. It hadn't woken up and she hoped that she hadn't killed it. It's breathing seemed very shallow. Perhaps the sandwich had been to much for him. She focused her chakra again and placed her hands onto the animal.
She felt it's breathing slowly return to normal. She continued practicing on the gopher. No need to waste such a good practice subject. It eventually awoke and blinked it's eyes several times. She hadn't noticed and continued to practice. It got up and bit her on her forearm leaving two good sized gashes.
Afterwards it got up and ran away stopping only to grab the entire sandwich and run off with it. With her bleeding she guessed it was a good chance for her to practice the next technique on the scroll.
