~Initiation~
As Saitosen entered the small dojo, he was greeted with the sounds of clanging swords and wooden thuds. Saitosen investigated his surroundings, seeing a group of children, no older than 7, all practicing vertical strikes in unison as thier master told them to. To his left, he saw a group of slightly older children, somewhere around 10 to 11, practicing against wooden dummies. And directly ahead of him he saw young men, somewhere around his age or older, surrounding two in a large circle, chanting the name of the one they wanted to win the sparring session, screaming, or seemingly uninterested.
Saitosen took a step forward and saw a woman, somewhere around 5'3, with a single katana tied down to her left hip. She walked with an experienced look upon her scarred face, looking no older than 30. She had long black hair to match the length of Saitosen's reaching halfway down the white gi, to the large golden and red sashes she had tied around her waist. "And who might you be?" She said, raising her eyebrows and scanning Saitosen with her large blue eyes.
"I am Mizaki Saitosen, and I'm here to learn a few sword techniques I guess." Saitosen said seemingly uninterested. "Incorrect!" She yelled angrily. "You are here to waste my time. Leave, Now." Saitosen's eyes widened in shock, and he stood there inable to move. "Excuse me?" Saitosen remarked. "I said leave." The master repeated. "You don't want to be here, and if you do want to stay, than prove me wrong."
Saitosen drew his katana off of his back, ready to fight anyone she sent at him. He sized up everyone in the dojo, and to him noone seemed very strong, not even the sensei. The master chuckled at him and beckoned one of the students sitting in the circle. The young man, seemingly equal in size with Saitosen, drew his weapon as he walked towards Saitosen. "Defeat my student, and you'll stay." Said the master, as her student rushed at Saitosen.
Saitosen jumped back quickly, raising his sword to block the students first swipe. The student yelled a battle cry and unleashed four well aimed strikes in quick succession, as Saitosen constantly readjusted his sword to block the attacks. "BattoJutsu, the art of dispatching an opponent before they have the chance to fight back." The sensei assured Saitosen. Saitosen realized the student would not relent, and decided to parry his next attack, which came exactly as expected. The attack came as a body crossing diagonal upward slash that Saitosen easily countered with a quick hop back while a tap on the backside of the opponents blade which led to a thrust into the small space between the arm and rib.
"IaiJutsu, the art of reflexes and defenses. Useful for deflection and parrying." The sensei clarified. "I am Usaka Tsunahara, the KenJutsu sensei of Kirigakure, welcome to our dojo." As she finished her sentance, the dojo erupted in clapping and cheers, as Saitosen realized that everybody in the dojo had been watching his battle.
