Working in the green house.

[Hayanako Krim]

Krim entered the green house silently in the middle of the later afternoon. It was empty except for a few other medical students who exited after gathering the herbs they needed. Krim was here on a different matter here. Instead of just simply gathering herbs they needed for medicine Krim actually grew them. He took in a deep breath as he walked silently gathering one of the watering buckets and made his way to his set of plants.

He was wearing his normal attire as he watered his plants silently. He had mainly spent all of his time training and had not heard from ceil lately. Then again she was the Mizukage so she must have been really busy. ”You are almost ready to be used to help people…” He said calmly his voice sounded soft and soothing as he ran his hand against one of the leaves. Hmm It is nice to finally have some free time… I have almost had no free time due to working part time at the hospital as a resident… Or also training… I know soon though my residency will end and my life will change to be more based off of senseless violence… He thought silently as he continued to focus on his plants.

His eyes stayed on the set of plants silently as he seemed zoned out form his surroundings. He then began to water the rest of the plants that he was growing. He knew soon they would be ready for the harvest and would be taken to use for medicine. He then took in a deep breath as he silently continued to work on his plants.

Alright! Finally Ciel had a bit of time for herself. Though she could not just leave the office like that. She hope that no one went to the offcie and well she just wanted to relax. It was quite surprising to know that Krim was around and free as well, she knew he had always been a hard worker ever since they met. Though she did feel happy for him. Today she was to see him, and she knew exactly where to find him, he loved playing at the green house and she new he would be there watering his plants.

Ciel was wearing a black kimono with red flowers on the fabric. Her wooden sandals gave out a nice soft noice as they would come in contact with the hard ground. Ciel would come to a stop and the entrance of the green house and hear Krim's words. She would chuckle somewhat and moving a few strands of hair from her face, she would look at him with her purple looking eyes. "You still like speaking to yourself?" She joked as she walked over to where he was.

She looked at how he look, he was very handsome and had changed in many ways that she still could not begin to understand or maybe the work of being a Kage was getting to her. Heck, she was young and could do it. But that was besides the point. She would shake her head slightly and smile at Krim. "How are you? Long time no see, eh? She placesd her hand on her hips and looked at him, her head tilting slightly to the right and smiling at him.

Krim continued to water the plants silently until he heard a familiar voice come from behind him. He turned his head and jumped lightly accidentally dropping the watering bucket. He quickly picked it up and set it on the table beside him. He did not know how to act around her now. He had only seen here briefly a few times since after she was elected as Mizukage but they really did not have much time to talk. The now Champion status in the Will Of Kratos stood up straight as he smiled softly.

”Hello Ceil… Ermm I mean Mizukage! Yes... Yes it has been a long time...” He said quietly as he looked at her. He wandered if it was still alright to call her by her first name. He assumed it would be rather inappropriate in a social situation for instance in front of her guards in the castle but… He then cleared his throat as he began to answer her question.

”I am fine… I have been busy within the Medical Academy but I finished my last class a few days ago. I am just finishing up my residency… I finally have had more time to train in the art of self defense but umm… Other then that life has been rather hectic…” He said nervously as he was talking somewhat fast but then again he was not the only one who changed. Ceil was now an attractive young woman and was also given a position of power which was an honor. ”But umm… Uh… Other then that I am ready for field work… So umm… How have you been? Has work of being the Mizukage kept you really busy?” He asked her softly as he looked at her still smiling softly. There was a soft blush that was visible on his face though.

Ciel chukled as she saw his reaction. Though her face grew erious as he called her Mizukage. She would walk towards him then be a few feet away from him, her hand would stretch and her index finger would extend out, with a grin, she would flick him. "Stop it! Just call me Ciel, it is not like we have not known eachother for a while." She would turn around and throw her arms into the air.

"Do not tell me just cause I am Mizukage now your going to be all too olite. I mean really." She would turn harlf way and glare at him somewhat. She gave out a small sigh and shook her head. "I have been good, yet busy. I try and do a good job at being the head of Mist. I also have plans for all my shinobi and kunoichi. But other than that I had some free time right now, thus I came to see you." She said as she turned fully to face him.

Ciel's head would tilt slightly to her left and a smile would cross her lips. "You have not changed one bit." She said noticing the nice rosy color on his cheeks. She had wondered if he felt something for her other than friends but for now she would just look at him and smile. She would then let her arms fall on her sides and she would walk towards him. As she was infront of him she would inbrace him in a hug. "You can be so naive sometimes, you know." She chuckles and broke the hug. She was happy for Krim, he was advancing on what he did best.

He listened to her talk as he watched her give him a slight glare. It did not really affect him he had known Ciel for a long time and was used to her personality. He then smiled softly as she walked up slowly and embraced him. His heart skipped slightly as he hugged her back gently. Trying to refrain from accidentally crushing her due to his new peak of physical strength.

Krim then slowly let go of her as she backed away from the embrace. ”Well… Naïve yes but I would not exactly say I have not changed. People change over time I just adapted the same personality… Besides I would never have thought that I would ever gain the ability to lift up to fifty tons…” He said softly not in a bragging manner but in a form of reflection. He then looked back to Ciel as he felt his cheeks continue to flair up as he quickly looked away to his plants.

”So I take it I am apart of one of your plans? Also I heard rumors that I am to be assigned to a field team soon…” He asked her in general curiosity as he looked back to her still giving his soft smile. ”Also Ciel… I am sorry for not visiting you as much… My instructor has been keeping me on a tight leash.” He said softly as he reflected with all the hours he had been spent studying and also surgery training. He then slowly began watering his plants again as he set the container down as he took a step toward Ciel.

"Of course people change. It is bound to happen though just because you have changed it does not mean your naivity has changed. But I guess I can let it slide." She smiled brightly at him as she heard him speak once more. "Well it seems that you have changed greatly, though I had it coming from you that you would. I am also happy that your doing your best."

Ciel would look down at the floor and look at the plants from the corner of her eyes. "Yes, you are in my plans as well. You are my shinobi and I would like for you as well to become stronger. I shall not be greedy and forbid you to not become stronger. You know that goes against me, and besides I would like for you to succed on what what want to do." Ciel smiled and would look up towards him. She notice Krim puting the water container down and take a step towards her.

"Do you have something i mind?" She asked as she looked at him still, his cheeks flushed. Maybe she was the naive one to not notice what was infront of her. Maybe she just needed to be more aware of the things that happened around her, now she wondered what was to happen. A slight shake of her head and her eyes and mind would focus on Krim.

He took in a deep breath as he noticed how he was slightly closer to her. He then quickly rested his right hand on one of the shelves holding plants in them. ”I just… Wanted to say that no matter what happens… Well…” He said softly as he looked back up to her silently there was still a blush on his face. ”I will still be by your side. I know how the world of politics works… Well I mean I have observed how it works and there will come a time when those who hunger for power will try to conspire against you… I… Umm just wanted to uh…”

His heart pounded in his chest as he continued to talk after taking a deep breath. ”No matter what happens I will be there for assistance. If anyone tries to harm you I will see to it they see justice. I guess the simple way to put it as I am pledging my loyalty to you. Not only as a friend but also as someone who is capable of combat…” He said softly as he looked away silently.

He then felt the warmth of the blush continue on his face as he took in a deep breath. His heart beat skipped again as he looked back to her slowly. He then kept his sweet smile on his face as he remained silent allowing her talk. Honestly he actually did not know what to add onto that. Or also what to say to kill the silence.

Ciel would feel a rush of blood surge through her and up her cheeks. His words were very sweet and still lingered in her mind. She looked at him still and smiled brightly, she noticed how close he was and just closed the gap between them and she embraced him once more, her lips would touch his cheek softly as she hugged him.

"Thanks you. I know you will be there by my side and I will not let anyone harm my shinobi. She did not know what more to say, his words were so pleasent to hear that she was at a loss of words. What could she say to him. She had no idea but she just wanted to stay like this a bit more. As she was still empracing him she would whisper on his ear. "I shall be there for you always, you know." She smiled softly closing her eye slightly.

Ciel would slowly break their embrace and look at him, into his eyes. "I am happy I can to see you. I am also happy that I know you'll be there for me". She paused, graping for words that seemed to not come to mind. "I really do not know what to say. You've made me happy with your words." She said chukling softly as she still looked at him, she looked down pondering on her next words to him.

His cheeks flared up as she kissed him on the cheek and with the sudden embrace as he fell silent. He then took in a deep breath to calm his nerves. He meant what he said and he would personally see to it that those who would harm the Mizukage would see a wrath. When she spoke it caused his heart beat to flutter again gently. He took in a deep breath as she stepped away from him as he smiled softly.

”It is really good to see you to… After I finish my residency I will have more free time and I promise I will visit you more often. He said softly noticing that she was silent which was odd. He also noticed that she was blushing then he remembered that he was to. His smile then widened silently as he kept eye contact as he took in all the words she said to him before.

He then remained silent for a few moments as he just stared into her eyes silently. ”I… Decided that once I become I Chunnin I would like to join the ANBU…” He said softly to her as he tried to break the silence. He smiled softly as he tried to break the silence. ”I will of course be a Medical expert but I think that the ANBU and the village as a whole would need them…” He said softly as he slipped his hand off the shelf and let it rest on his side.

Ciel smiled as the rush of blood that had been gathered on her cheeks start to flow away, making her cheeks look normal once more. Her gaze did not move from Krim's eyes, they were nice and she liked staring at them, well the times that she had a chance to. She chukled and shook her head slightly.

"You've changed alot, your more responsible and well you speak more. I am also happy that your trying hard to be medic and I am sure you'll do it." She encouraged him and she knew well enough that he would be a good medic, though she did hope that nothing was ever to happen to him, nor all of her shinobi. Well this was one price to pay for being Kage but it was fun and she loved it. She gazed down for a moment, then looked back up at him.

"I see, well I will be happy to have you as an ANBU and well to tell the truth you qualify for it, though you stil need a few more things to do if you wish to become that. But yes..." She trailed off wonderinf if she should tell him about the mission she was planning on sending him to. "Umm... You see I would like for you to group up with your two team mates. I need to head back now and well I need to send the three of you on an important mission. I know I was here to see you but I am sorry."

Ciel smiled sadly because she ha just ruined their nice conversation by bringing her Kage things into play. What was she to do.. A grin would appear on her lips and then she would embrace Krim once more and kiss his cheeks. "Come see me at my office once you've grouped up with your team." She et go of him and started to walk, she would stop at the door of the green house. "I promise to make it up to you, alright?" She chukled and waved bye at him, not waiting for him to reply.

Krim blushed even more as she suddenly embraced him again. He then felt her lips brush against both of his cheeks as she began to exit. ”Ciel… I…” He said softly as she left as he fell silent. He then saw a Kunai stick into the shelf beside him. He read the note and sighed softly to him self. He then took in a deep breath as he looked to his plants silently and vanished in a burst of speed.
