Description: The after image technique is the technique that allows the user to move side to side with extreme speed and towards a general direction creating an after image of the person. When learning this technique a person may only do Ten after images per day. If one wishes goes more then this number tissue has a chance to rip and tear. This is the basis techniques for all techniques that may consist or deal with moves that deal with the After Image. Depending on how many after images a user uses within a technique is dependent on how many times this technique is known.

Serene ripples crossed the surface of the lake as Riou Enishi made his way across, chakra control allowing him to walk across the water in an act of “god”. Before he would head into Mizu’s capitol, he would train his mind, body and soul, honing them to deadly instinct….someday…someday he would surpass his teacher and become a sword saint.

With a mere adjustment of thought, his mind fueled the needs for greatness. Tenketsu points slowly began to steadily unlock their unfathomable powers, allowing the invisible energies they withheld to seep through layers of muscle and bones, empowering them to withstand the vigorous training one could exert upon their own body. The body swelled with such a gift, the body enlarging to accommodate the sudden uproot of chakra and physical ascension. It was a transcendence that took little more than a second, and in such a short manner of time one would notice the change.

Feet began to touch the earth's surface much more frequently and with utmost grace, running about the front-most section of the soles, rather than the middle and hard heel. This eliminated a vast majority of the noise accompanied with one moving with such acceleration, yet Riou knew this was only the tip of the iceberg, he would soon reach another level far greater than this - yet he would need more chakra - his body would not deny him, and in a single stream would he begin to harness more of this raw and untapped source; it was so invigorating, the sense of power.

Sooner than later, the mass amount of chakra he'd accumulated within his body as a whole began to leak, steadily permeated from every pore of his flesh as he moved about the vegetation; his graceful ducks and jumps soon became obscured, and within moments the invisible chakra began to change itself. These tendrils began to coagulate and merge, slowly but surely taking on the silhouette of he who crafted such a beautiful thing. The energies lagged as the body was constantly refreshed with newer and more useful chakra - the rest was filtered back into the tenketsu, yet a small sliver manage to sludge from the body.

Multiple hues within the very clothing soon began to taint the once invisible energy, and within seconds it would present itself in a deep lavender hue to his opponent's eyes - about the legs, mostly, for not enough chakra had been amassed to cover the entire body's surface. An after-image had been made, and though small in its stature, it was enough to demonstrate the capacity for speed the young swordsmen held, his muscles and tendons becoming more sensitive to his commands and the will of his thoughts. He could react better, faster - and with each step he climbed would the after image become more visible to his opponent.

Within the few minutes he had spend perfecting this technique already his movements had become more refined, and within an instant he would only seek to increase his speed further. Powerful, yet graceful, steps collided against the firmness of the wood of which he ran. Eyes narrowed has he moved about the thickness, watching his opponent begin the series of preparations to send forth his speed upon the stillness of the lake, now with minor waves lapping at its sandy shore as the force from his steps sent it rocking across the surface.

Instantly, succumbing to his will, the tenketsu points riddling his body began to open their gates furthers and allow even more chakra to seep through and into the boy's musculature. Tendons tensed with the severe friction and muscles ripened the tell-tale hint of his progression into the after-image technique. His feet once more began to tap against the water, sending tell tale splashes into the air., nearly two-fold his original timing per second. No boisterous sounds could be heard here, simply a low and barely audible hum as the beat of his toes and sole gently tapped against the fruition. He was becoming quicker.

Feet shifted most delicately about the surface of the lake, bringing the sprinter into an artsy spin, bringing his torso down low during the spiral so as to evade any potential attacks- such speed and agility left behind its mark, the nigh-translucent blur that was his after-image, only to merge back with its host as his speed took a sudden decrease (due to the spin and kneel); he wasted no time though, and as if vanishing his body would be thrust into a speed so surreal one could've swore his flesh was melting. Extreme chakra control yielded this effect, and before long the faint image began once more.

Energies fell from the boy's body as he surpassed their movements entirely, leaving them to find sanctuary together in their endless journey to unite once more with the boy's fleeting frame. Now, no longer refrained to just the shins and legs, the after-image properly represented the boy's torso and hands - his arms not such much, leaving a noticeable gap in the overall image. Still, it as a haunting sight - the speed of which he moved, that is. The lavender columns were chiseled to reenact his movements, fading to and from visualization as he continued to increase his speed.

The chakra streamed further from him due to this, and the after-image was left to lag in result, stretching itself, per say - several facades were seen here, yet still nothing more than the original, singular after-image.

The world around Riou seemed to blur, melting into a single frame of colors and shapeless masses. His speed was so extreme, the wind howled in his ears as he snaked throughout the azure water of the lake. He was becoming faster……..his masters teachings had somehow reached upon his cerebellum, finally true understanding seemed to leak through his consciousness…..he would surpass her…..he would surpass her and teach a whole new meaning of “Tendou” to the world.

Still traversing across the lake, training forefront within his mind Riou’s speed had not waned in the slightest of bits, and with a simple flick of his ankles did he change his positioning as to evade any and all harm that an opponent could have brought him. This was it, the time to unleash the full potential of speed his body could muster - it was all or nothing, go big or go home. The youthful swordsmen understood this concept quite well, and though he lacked the boasting ego and joyful facade to prove such, he would easily demonstrate with action over words.

His mind triggered a colossal climb of power, his chakra nearly ripping through his body as it coursed from the wide-open tenketsu points. Were they dams, they would've been flooding the valley they sought to protect with hundreds of tons of water, crushing all that was beneath. This power coursed through his veins like fire, the stimulating sensation filling his senses - his eyes were ablaze with passion, his body swelling once more to accommodate the massive change in power. Muscles adjusted themselves for a final sprint, a single burst - and with that, he was ready.

The body was crouched during this series of changes, arms levitated near shoulder height as he rested upon the belly, held close to the water. A light mist of water lingered about him, accumulated from the massive rush of chakra he'd endured a mere moment ago. Eyes grew wide as he crouched lower, a sharp whistle echoing from about him as he simply vanished. Water beneath his feet was uplifted into the air, such was the force of his movements.

In a soft curve of a zig-zag, Riou threw himself forward at an invisible foe. His speed was amazing, and the energies within his body could not keep track at all - they were stripped from every muscle and tendon, every bone within his body and left to race desperately after him. The hues of his clothing tainted these energies beyond recognition, turning them a far darker shade of lavender than before - almost midnight purple, actually. It stretched longer than before, unable to maintain a balance as the speed simply continued to grow, leaving the after-image far behind.

Muscles tensed against the resistance of wind and friction, though his eyes were hindered not - he could see clearly, and whatever amount he saw in his mind couldn’t possibly conceive the grandeur of his alacrity. Feral grin crossing his noble countenance Riou used a simple shunshin to deliver himself into the middle of the lake…..time for the final part of his training before the sun would descend in the sky….heralding the beginning of the true reason for his journey to Mizu No Kuni.

A chill wind would suddenly cut across the serene body of water, causing hectic ripples and waves to form on its normally pristine surface. Small frown gracing his countenance Riou would view the ashe-grey clouds lingering on the horizon…he would need to conclude his business here quickly, lest he be caught in a veritable tempest. Azure occuli hardening in a stoic look Riou would set his body lower, allowing his knee’s to bend and support the weight…this was it…..

Tenkatsu opening under the merest surge of his will, power flooding throughout his frame, chakra coursing into his very veins like wildfire Riou would prepare his body. Cerulean blue hung off his form, in a palpable aura, one that could almost be tasted upon the air like the thick coppery taste of spilt blood. Tendons twisting and preparing, coiling like a snake posted to strike as arms moved outwards, balancing his form as chakra still pushed forth from his pores, keeping him afloat the lakes churning surface.

Water would suddenly spout into the air, Riou vanishing from his current position as muscles uncoiled and loosened, allowing him to move at maximum speed, literally shredding across the water, each foot step made with such force a veritable geyser of water was formed. Even holes dotted the landscape of the lake, water trying to fill the space displaced by Riou’s movement. Gracefully would Riou run the length of the lake, serene movements created a harmonious dance of sorts as he moved with lethal agility.

Azure irises would focus on his target……a small log floating in the water. A shunshin would bring him in its proximity before a swift kick would send it flying through the air a short distance away. Immediately Riou’s right hand would clasp over the hilt of his now sheathed katana, left hand lowering on to the Saya as his whole body was lowered. As the log suddenly dipped to about shoulder height Riou would move, only the swiftest whisper carried on the wind a remnant of his passing.


Silvered steel , edging forth from its sheath in a blur of movement, scything into the log and cleaving it in two, yet to any bystander on the lake they would be amazed, for wasn’t there a another exact replica of the man exactly five meters to the right? But within swift seconds would the replica began to fade, shimmering into nothingness as the extent of Riou’s sugizou technique was layed bare. Surely he had mastered much in such a short time, the awareness of his teachers tutelage having finally come into his mind………yet know he would have to end his reminiscing…there was work to be done for Tendou did not rest…..Cerulean kimono fluttering in the slight breeze that had picked up Riou headed to Mizu No Kuni’s capitol.

As obscuring mists rose from the ground Riou continued his lonely sojourn to the capitol. Soft foot falls falling on the earth a sudden wry grin would cross his contenance, Ivory teeth showing , a sudden bluring of the figure would occur and suddenly he was off ten meters to the right. The figure left in his stead steadily fading from view as the Sugizou technique finally wore off, his mastery of such a simple taijutsu manuever quite apt.

But were one to slow down time they would see the tensing of his muscles as feet descended to gaia, pounding the earth as they releases him from the so called " Shackles" of gravity. His form was akin to lightning, moving throughout the sky. Such was his dexterous alacrity in movements. Both feet, core and hands were so perfectly balanced not a moments movement was wasted, such was his prowess within the taijutsu creed.

Yet Riou would again utilize the sugizou technique, moving back to his original position, another perfect likeness in his former positions stead, slowly fading from view as it continued to walk through the hazy mists of Mizu No Kuni. Such was the flow of raw pour through his body, almost as if all eight Tenkotsu were opening, coursing there power through his veins. But that was not his creed...the power of chakra control all but lost to him. Huddling his azure Haori closer to his body to ward of chill, he headed into Mizu No Kuni.

If the user uses this technique more then stated, the user's muscles will cramp and render the user unable to run about and move period.
Description: This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily boost the user's reflexes. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance between the user and their intended destination.

Soft footfalls gracefully fell as a solitary figure made his way amongst the tall grass of Mizu No Kunifs center most park. Arriving at his destination Riou would allow a soft sigh to escape his lips, once more as nights sable embrace blanketed the village he would train alone in the night time, honing his shinobi talent. A chill breeze would send the edges of his ivory kimono fluttering gaily, the moonlight shining on ashen locks as a deep shuddering breath overtook his body. He could feel it alreadycc.the manifestation of his cursed lineagec..he would need to take another long sojourn into the medical tank located in Kirikagurefs hospital to rid his body of the toxins quickly accumulated. Azure occuli would glance forth at a spot, merely ten metres away. Unceasing stare affixed to that location Riou would began to gather chakra unto himself.

The tenketsu upon his body awakened, chakra beginning to pour into his extremities as his head lowered toward the earth. Eyelids fluttered to a close as he spread the fruit of his labor toward every inch of his being, his footsteps beginning to slow. They were more calculated..applying more pressure to the ground below as the muscles within his body began to grow lax. All too suddenly in that moment, did she unleash his speedy transition unto the eyes of any who would catch sight of him.

True alacrityc.. all in a single fluttering of eyelashes did Rioufs form transition from what had been his position to his new location at the spot he had espied. Barely formed images hung in Rioufs mind of his movement, his mind barely registering the movements. Right foot descending to Gaia, hitting the earth with an almighty downward arc, then next cushioning to the ground to form a brace of sorts as the left leg came, even faster toward the ground, as arms moved in a balanced motion. Then it goes blankc..nothingc..nothing existing in the imperceptible time as his position immediately shifted from one to another.

Slight cloud of dust, ascending to the heavens as it was disturbed , blue irisfs would then turn to stare at the formers position. Then a look of surprise would cross his contenance, then as a porcelain hand moved to his mouth would a slight cough exhude from deep within. Crimson liquid would come forth, staining his hand. Cerulean eyes would harden in distain. For all of Rioufs prodigious abilities he could still not escape the cursed lineage of his forebears. Dextrously removing his arms from the folds of his kimono he would let the top half fall down to his waist, muscular exterior now laid bare Riou would return to his current lodgingsc..awaiting the rising of a new dawn.

Magnificent and crimson did the descending orb scythe through twilight’s sky creating such an aurora of brilliance in the sky. Azure occuli would gaze towards the heavens, twinkling in anticipation to such simple events. Gracefully would Riou’s course take him onwards to his chosen training ground, Mizu No Kuni’s central park becoming a hub of sorts for his meditation and contemplation of both mind,body and soul.

Soft footfalls would be made, tabi sandals gliding along the grass as he entered the lush orboreal verdence of such a place. Not sparing a single second would chakra begin to gather unto himself, a bluish incorporeal glow infusing his being. Like moths driven to the flame did chakra pore unto the Tensora prodigy, raw power coursing through his veins, filling the void within his soil with lust for such might. Cerulean iris’s would glow with an otherworldly blue, bespeaking the great power he was about to wield.

Tenketsu points were stimulated under the will of his mind, unleashing a sudden rush throughout his body. It coiled from the center of his person, reaching out to his every limb and empowering them to withstand the brutality that was the resistance he would experience from the rush of energy he achieved; his legs bent at the knees as he landed upon one of the many branches that surrounded him, his eyes narrowing as he focused on his target.

In that mere instant he literally vanished, pushing off with such a speed it would appear to the untrained eye as though he teleported. Whole body literally shifting from one point to another as dexterous limbs carried him faster than the eye could see. In Riou’s case this ability ceased to be about merely “Speed”, it became about warping reality, bending time and space in the one instant as he would transition from one to another.

Landing on his targeted destination the small crackling of wood would be felt underneath his sandaled feet. The speed at which he had moved causing his force to increase exponentially, thus allowing this mere high speed movement to create a booming effect, and in this case capable of slightly damaging the soft bark that hugged the tree. Turning on a heel in the same movement Riou would turn to face the next tree, before his figure would blur subtly and he would again vanish. Bending time and reality to appear on the next tree branch. His shunshin growing in speed with each passing night. Subtly using his last shunshin to land nimbly on the ground Riou would walk to the center of the clearing, readying himself to train once more.

Streetlights would flicker into life, spreading their incandescent light across the streets.

Arriving in the park azure Iris's would take in the immediate setting at his arrival, confident in her perceptive glance he would brush away a strand of silvered hair, a soft sigh escaping his lips. Tonight he would continue his training regime, strengthening his mind and body, hoping to find the truth of this world.

Tenketsu upon his body awakened, chakra beginning to pour into his extremities as his head lowered toward the earth. Eyelids fluttered to a close as he spread the fruit of his labor toward every inch of his being, his footsteps beginning to slow. They were more calculated..applying more pressure to the ground below as the muscles within his body began to grow lax. His very being shifted from whence the left foot stepped, only to arrive meters ahead to kick up a small amount of dirt as his feet planted themselves to the ground once more. His peripheral vision caught no trace of his departure and gradual arrival; his frame was growing accustomed to such breakneck velocities, and she could only get faster from here.

White Kimono fluttering in the breeze, cerulean occuli would note the tell tale glimmer of soil lingering in the air, an after effect of his speedy approach, the force of his movements causing a disturbance within the ground. Raising an ivory digit would Riou glance at it, holding an unceasing gaze as nights blanket began it shadowy fall over the village. What was he? Angel? Demon? What was his purpose in this world?

Mind still clouded and fogged with the trials and tribulations that plagued him so Riou’s contenance was said with frustration. Idle hands would move dexterously, placing the ivory kimono once more upon his shoulders, letting it hang loosely. What was he doing here? Why had he come to Mizu No Kuni, land of endless rain. Soft sigh escaping his lips cerulean occuli would close, trying to shut out the dilemna’s that seemed to plague him, but there was nothing, the only way to make any sense of this was to lose himself within training.

Lithe form lingered in the immediate proximity, having lost himself within his thoughts and preparing himself mentally to train the technique once more. Finding it prudent to study the art of the Shunshin more thoroughly so as to prevent any physical retributions of an unsuccessful usage. Indigo occuli glinted as Riou’s mind worked furiously to break down the technique.

It was a simple feat that was turned into a deadly maneuver to the human eye. The balance of weight between both feet was absolute, his soles planted parallel with Gaia, his arms rose to chest level. Performing only few handseals, he took the time to summon a simple bunshin of no substance. Standing upright beside its creator, the mock creation nodded its head before lowering itself and vaulting into the air. He left his creator to his own ministrations. Mind focused Riou would take height and weight into consideration as he once more prepared himself.

The tenketsu roared to life as chakra filled his very form, his body's adrenal levels stimulated only slightly as the bunshin began to descend. Azure occuli stared unceasingly as his countenance was lifted, waiting until the bunshin was but a meter from him to perform the shunshin maneuver. Swiftly did he move to the side, an evasive maneuver yielding no sign of transition as the bunshin flipped right-side up and landed. It vanished once again in a soft blur that seemed to fade in a lingering breeze.

Ebony hair, lifting in the slight breeze Riou would begin the long sojourn back to his lodgings, fully intent on finding a meaning for him, finding a meaning for his life. Soft foot falls would barely be heard as moon light shown down on then park, mirrored off of the dewed grass. Riou Enishi , Seijin Shikotsumyaku……wondered amongst the sable blanket that covered Mizu No Kuni., mind clouded and soul conflicted…what did fate have in store for him?

Hours later, as ebony darkness overtook the village Riou would stand in the middle of the park, hand resting languidly on the hilt of his katana. Dimly lit incandescence would prove the only illumination within the setting. Something stirred within, a zealous fervor, hot blood coursing through his veins. The warriors spirit awakening deep within. Cerulean orbs gazing out Riou would allow his spirit to guide his movements.

Dexterously would his right hand grasp the hilt, nimble digits setting in a firm grip. Next the left would move halfway down the sheath, stabilizing for the quick draw and cut that would be utilized. Knee’s would bend at the joints, allowing Riou’s form to crouch lower, allowing him to better balance. A deep breath would emanate from stomach to mouth as muscles tensed like coiled springs.

Then like a lightning bolt Riou struck, his sword coming out in a vicious arc upwards, shining steel glittering within the park Riou would set forth in the same stance, redrawing and drawing again, letting his swordsmens spirit guide him. Within minutes he would finish and re-sheath his katana, before walking out of the park and into the night, not a trace of him being left in the tranquil setting.

Lurid darkness enshrouded the pale vestiges of suns faint glimmering radiance as Riou Enishi’s solitary form made his way unto the small wooded parkland that had become his training ground for the last few nights. Azure occuli would twinkle as they were bathed in golden light as knee’s would bend and his frame would lapse unto the ground. A late rainfall having dewed the grass Riou would smirk as his ivory hakama would become slightly moist. Minutes later would nights shadowy embrace hugged across Mizu No Kuni and Riou would rise, his mind clear and collected with what he had in mind for training.

Cerulean iris’s would gaze out at a huge sprawling oak dominating the center of the park. Emerald leaves glinting in the moon light as swiftly collected rain drops would spill to the ground in almost complete rhythmic harmony. Soft lips would allow a sigh to escape as Riou savored this rare moment of mothers natures beauty, happy to be alive to witness such exquisite finery. The sweet song of steel against his saya rang triumphantly throughout, puncturing the abject silence of the park. Chest rising and falling as deep shuddering breaths were taken Riou would set himself into a shapeless sword stance.

In barely the time it took for the human eye to blink Riou would be gone, silver katana raised with deadly alacrity to strike forth, but what was his target? With a single vertical slash would Riou blade pierce through a swiftly descending raindrop, cutting it in twain and sprinkling the grass with its hydrous aftermath. On and on did this deadly dance continue, feet moving in seemingly simple yet intricate patterns that confused the eye as the glimmering blade fell and fell again, each time leaving a splash of water in its wake as it connected.

But time would take its toll, and the physical stresses placed upon his body would slow down his weary muscles. Steam rising off his body as some of the raindrops hit his body Riou would lose his footing on the moist ground; almost slipping he rolled into a side twist before flipping forward landing on one knee. Keen azure optics would glance forth; looking to see if anyone had seen his mishap, yet known came forth. Yet there, due to Mother Nature’s capricious nature would dew drops fall upon his nose in a mocking fashion, tormenting his efforts.

With a wry grin would Riou rub the sleeve of his kimono over his nose, letting a small chuckle escape his lips. Tabi sandals gliding effortlessly over the grass Riou would sheet his katana, the dull ring of steel echoing across the immediate landscape. His training for the night done Riou would head off to the ” Miyabuki”, his residence in this lonely sojourn to Mizu No Kuni.

Description: The user raises his sword to his/her right shoulder with the blade pointing skyward. This is the strongest ‘Heaven’ form stance in terms of power.
Limit: Must learn from one of the five Tensora Masters. Must know all Standard Kenjutsu.

Bald pate gleaming in the suns incandescent brilliance the old man would walk, bokken grasped in a meaty fist that belayed all sign of age. Forked beard, white like snow would wave ever so slightly in the light breeze that came, bending the tree branches and the grass that carpeted the soft rolling landscape of Kusa No Kuni. Trembling nervously the young ebon haired boy would gaze upwards at his sensei, azure eyes craving knowledge. With a swift movement of his wrist, the venerable swordsmen would bring his bokken up, rising it to the heavens as he set himself into a loose stance.

No words needed to be spoken, barely even nodding the boy would shuffle backwards, ivory hakama skirting within the breeze. Exhaling the boy would feel a deep voice emanate from his throat, a means of concentrating his “ki” and focusing on the technique. Then in a sudden flash of movement his left foot would descend to gaia, hitting the ground and stopping. From there the left foot would pivot ninety degree’s as both knee’s bend, providing balance and stability to the stance. Cerulean iris’s glancing upwards a movement of arms and wrists would bring the sword upwards, tip of the bokken pointed skyward as if cleaving the clouds in twain.

Fierce fire coursing through his veins the boy would look to his mentor, youthful spirit demanding acceptance and praise. Eyes black as midnight coal would narrow dangerously, before the bokken would come , descending upon the boys thigh eliciting a sharp cry, again it would strike in the solar plexus, as the boys stance suddenly became weak and brittle like that of a yew branch. Hot tears running in small rivulets down his cheek the boy would look up at his mentor, shame welling up within his breast.

” Your stance is weak! The arms need to be brought up higher! For that is where the power lays as the dragon descends from heaven! Your legs! They too much like brittle tree than hard rock!”

Faced with the old mans stern visage the boy’s lower lip trembled, but he would not cry…..there was no room for crying within a swordsmen heart, raising his bokken he uttered a crisp ” Hai!”, before resuming the stance. Turning his back upon the boy Yang Sze would gaze towards the distant horizon, sun now flecked with shades of crimson as the day wore on. A small smile forming on his face at his pupils progress, thought it would go unseen by the boy….
