“Fine, let’s see what you have”
[/i] “Episode 3: Impervious”
[/i]Azrael stood silently observing the actions of his opponent. Although Hannibal hadn’t answered his questions, he was more than prepared to take the pain which came with assaults. That was with the assumption Hannibal wasn’t going to kill Azrael, which oddly enough Azrael trusted the shinobi enough not to try. The light continued to gleam off the fuller of his sword as well as his eyes; the reflective lights would look pretty on Hannibal as Azrael awaited the next move. Hannibal… What are you aiming for? he thought to himself, the boy seemed to be charging himself up for an attack, was this brute strength or tactical. Grasping his sword firmly they were at a stalemate, who would make the first move. Well, if he won’t move then I— though his inner thoughts were cut off by the movement of his opponent. Hannibal seemingly tossed the ball of lightning into the air, Azrael didn’t stare though saw the object in his peripheral vision.
He knew there was a possibility of a hidden effect in such a bright light, such as blindness, or even a genjutsu like attack. Though, he also knew it could be an expanded attack or a direct one using the rain around him to shock him. As these different scenarios came into play he’d still keep an eye on the lightning overheard in his peripheral vision, watching for any signs of control in Hannibal of such a an attack. “Pretty lights… Though what kind of power do you have to back it!” Azrael called out in a cocky remark. Though as he spoke he saw the fancy staff work of the boy, A diversion? No… Earlier is no diversion, he is just showing off… he thought to himself. Though as the fancy staff-work continued he saw a wall begin to form, a once clear then water covered wall. Since the water obscured the vision of seeing the Rain shinobi slightly, it was pretty obvious what he was doing. A moment later the lightning in the sky fell into the wall, sending an electrified current through it.
Heh, impressive; I’m sure he has established I am a close range user. With that thought in mind he created a wall of water to protect himself and leave himself to perform more potent attacks. Smart… Though, assumptions that I don’t have tricks up my sleeve are fatal… he said to himself, still seeing the obscure figure in the water. Releasing his right hand from the sword he’d point his index finger in the area the boy wouldn’t need if he was truly a Ninjutsu man, the single finger bullet that emerged was aimed at the left knee of the boy. The projectile would most likely be invisible, swift, and most of all impervious to such things as “chakra sense”, since his bloodline required no chakra. The strike wouldn’t aim for a part of the knee that would leave him permanently injured, though a pain lasting the length of a sprained ankle, with the thought in mind that the water would slow the projectile down ‘slightly’. The wet projectile would surely pick up the electrical current and hit the boy with a slight shock should it contact his knee.
