Kininata could feel Souzen before he entered the chamber, feeling the rage and ferocity from his Chakra. He was stronger than he had anticipated, but it didn't matter. He wasn't looking for a battle against this man... merely one last converse before their paths moved away from each other again. The moment he heard footsteps near the bottom of the long stairwell, he opened his eyes, his ice-blue/jade sight catching the grim figure that was now Kaeda Souzen. His Chakra was indeed fierce, even though for the moment it was calm within him - he knew that it was simply a delay of the potentially inevitable fury that would be unleashed. A part of his mind, the part that always kept him surviving against the odds, wanted him to act on the plan now. I can't. Even after all this, he deserves to know the truth. Because after this, there are no more secrets. He slowly rose to his feet, his old, torn fighting clothes showing that age was catching up with them along with the scars of old, fierce battles.
'I actually wondered whether or not you would be coming. I considered that you might have thought me as small prey now after your crowning achievement at the council chambers - nice work there, by the way.' He said, loosening his coat somewhat with his left hand. 'I saw this coming, to a degree, but never did I think you would do it. So it's all finally done... the siblings removed, the council gone, even the village at its end. Everything that Corrin saw needing to be done was finally accomplished.'
He bowed towards Souzen, respectfully doing so, and crouched down to kneel afterwards. 'You know, I've got to hand it to you. When you let loose, you really do it with style. A little more effort, and I would never have noticed my father's corpse among the dead AnBu guards there. Well, that is in the past now. I'm pretty sure that you and I are the last members of the old order of Amekagure no Sato, and the last of our families now.' He took off his forehead protector, and tossed it causally, as though throwing away an item of no worth, to the side into a pool of stagnant water.
'I have no ties left to this Village, nor its people anymore. So, you can do with this place as you like. I'm done here.' He knelt there, fully ready to defend himself if he needed to. He was admitting his truth, his honesty. 'I only came back to ensure the last of my business here was finished, and with your actions at the council, I have no purpose to stay here anymore. I can return to the life I had before this. For that, I truly thank you.'
