Team 1 gathering! (Hotoka & Natsumi, please join)

The sun was setting, and Marii sat in the park. She was dressed in her blue and black fleece sweater with a T-shirt under and a pair of black sweatpants.
The blond had been teamed up with a boy named Hotoka and a girl named Natsumi, and had brought 3 cans with lemonade and some homemade chocolate cookies. Even for a disasterous cook like Marii, the cookies tasted OK. At least you didn't spit them out.
- Since they're going to be my teammates, I'll better get on their good terms. Everyone likes lemonade and cookies, said the Kazeraikou to herself. 'YEAH! Those who don't like it are either diabetics or morons!' said her inner self while crossing her arms and nodding.
The teen leaned back, watching some pink cherry flowers fly down to the ground.

Hotoka was done with his work in the Kage's office and could finally go training again. He ran through the village, trying to find his usual trainingspot when he saw his team mate sitting in the park. As Hotoka had never talked with his team member he thought he might as well drop by and have a little chat. As he walked closer he wanted to try out his team mate by shunshining just behind her back, holding his head close to her ear and greeting her with a playfull. "boo"

Natsumi was bored and was strolling about, another day had passed of her not training, 'Better make the most of it' She thought, she walked around until she got to her favorite spot, a place with a nice cheery blossom tree, with the petals floating around. She smiled to herself as she saw Hotoka approach someone, she figured she'd just invite herself into their conversation once he stopped trying to scare the girl. She squinted her eyes as she walked, realizing that this was the girl that was in her team, she smiled growing more excited now. "Hey" she said with a soft smile

- Boo!said a voice right next to Mariis ear. The blonde jumped up, spinned around, activated the Ryuugan and drew a kunai out of her pouch. ' YOU'RE IN DEEP TROUBLE YOUNG MAN!!' yelled her inner self while raising her fist and had her eyes replaced with fireballs.
'I think that's Hotoka' thought the Kazeraikou while she re-activated the bloodlimit. He was tall, and awfully skinny; it shouldn't suprise her that he was just a few pounds heavier or ligther than her. The blonde looked to be a little younger than her, he was probably 16-17.
- Oh hello! My name's Marii Kino Kazeraikou, said Marii, giving him a small smile before laying away the weapon. Then, she noticed another girl coming towards her.
She was a bit tall and quite slender. She had black hair and ivory eyes, and was probably 17-18. ' Must be that Hyuuga girl.What's her name again....Natsumi??' thought the teen.
When the girl had comed closer, she smiled. - I'm your new teammate Marii Kino Kazeraikou, said the girl and sat down at the bench. - I thought we could eat a small snack together, so I made some cookies and bought some lemonade. I'm the oldest at the team after all....and I need you guys for a mission too, smiled Marii.

As the blond girl jumped up and even pulled out her kunai Hotoka Jumped back, in a salto-like movement, took on his claws and landed on the ground, ready to attack and defend on any given moment. But after he saw that the girl put the kunai away and greeted him he relaxed a bit and sat down on the ground. A quick "Hai ^_^" Came out as the girl said hello and after that he introduced himself as well. "Uhh, I'm Hotoka ^.^ Nice to meet you" As wanted to ask the girl something he saw someone walking in the corner of his eye. After turning his head a bit around he saw that it was Natsumi. "Natsumiiiii" He said with a huge grin on his face. After Natsumi was introduced to the girl as well Hotoka heard something about the missions. "Do we have to go on missions? Can't we just stay here and train a little bit for the chuuninexams?"

[Hmph]

Natsumi nodded gracefully as the girl introduced herself, she was sure the girl already knew her name since Hotoka just finished screaming it out. So she sat beside them and let them speak, while she grabbed a mishapened cookie, it didnt look too good, but it didnt taste bad either. Waiting for Hotoka to finished, she swallowed what ever food she had in her mouth and began too

"I think I agree with Hotoka," She said, recently she hadn't been training, and she felt she was getting a little weaker then the others so all she really wanted to do now was get stronger. She couldn't really care less for missions yet, but she would still agree to go on one if the team was willing to. "But it is up to you guys, if you have a mission that you think would be worth while in mind then I suppose we should go ahead and do it..."

Marii thought for a second and sipped some lemonade. - Well, we need both training and missions to pass the chuunin exams. I've heard somewhere that you need 500 training points to sign up. I've only 30, but I've just got examined, said the blond. She didn't like the thought of her as a group leader, and looked on the other two. - I guess you two can decide, said the Kazeraikou while eating a deformed cookie.

"I think it requires you to finish one mission to join the chuunin exams. Or the recomendation of the Kage. But it wouldnt depend on how much you've trained. And I'm not going to decide, you are the oldest person here so you should be the one to decide." He said with a small slightly teasing grin while looking at Marii. The good thing about being the Kage's assistant was that he knew close to everything about his team mates, from jutsu to age. As he waited for a response he looked at the cookies and got a bit of a painfull look on his face. Is she trying to.. kill meh already? ó_ò While still doubting a bit Hotoka grabbed a can of soda, to make sure he didnt looked rude in any way.

- I guess we could train a little before we get out on the mission. After all, the mission I thought we could go on was a C-rank where we should catch a gang with bandits, so I guess we need some training, said Marii and ate a new cookie. She looked at her new teammate, and then at her cookies.
- Don't worry, those cookies aren't filled with poison or anything. Natsumi-san ate one, and she looks fine to me, grinned the blond, knewing that her cooking stinked.

[Hmph]

Natsumi managed a smile, the cookies looked horrible but they weren't that bad
"Okay then its settled," she said nodding, "We're going to train a little before we take up any mission" She glanced at them both, excited that she would be able to train again "Righttt?" she added quickly, as she began to think about how effectively she would be able to carry out a mission, since she had never been on one before

- Yes. But who's going to be our team captain?? After all, I'm just a ninjutsu specialist with a freaky bloodlimit,said the blond and looked at the two. Natsumi had the Byakugan at her side, and probably some of the Jyuuken styles as well.
Hotoka however, was probably much stronger than he looked. And he had those claws as well.
' I have a bloodlimit too, but it's not all that much. I can't see any techniques and I don't have X-ray vision as well. My senses might get high enough to dogde or counter, but the Eastern attacks are peanuts compared to the Hyuugas family taijutsu' thought the girl, looking slightly sad.

"Hmm, well, if you look at it this way... You have a bloodlimit, Natsumi has a bloodlimit as well and even I ha.." All of a sudden he turned his head down, while getting a slightly troubled look on his face. He drank the last of his soda, stood up and turned around. "You two pick one, both of you would do great so I wouldnt mind no matter who you pick. Well, if you excuse me I have to go now.. Bye" His voice slowly lost the strenght and cheerfullness he used to have and he simply walked away, leaving both of his teammates behind.

Marii looked at Hotoka. ' Ooh, hope I didn't hurted him or anything...' thought the kuinochi before looking back at the raven-haired girl. - So....who of us should be team captain?said the blond, eating another cookie.

[Hmph]

Natsumi sighed as Hotoka walked away, he seemed upset, maybe she would go chase after him later to cheer him up, but for now there was business to be settled
"You're the oldest, am I right," She asked straightening her back, she could've easily taken up the role as team leader but being a leader didn't go with her personality at all, she was more of a laid back type of person, rather then someone who could lead a group efficiantly
"With age, comes wisdom" She said putting a finger to her chin as if she was thinking "Bloodlimit or not, I'm not very consistant with my idea's or ambitions, this would make me a bad leader. We need someone level headed and you seem like the perfect candidate" Then she got up, and looked into the direction where Hotoka ran off "It's a shame that I have to decline the role of leader so disgracefully but I'm only being honest, besides I'm sure you'll make a great team captain"

With that she bowed "Thank you for the snack" She said, and she walked away turning back only once to wave the girl goodbye

- Uhm...you're welcome Natsumi-chan...said Marii, looking like she had been struck by lightning. ' ME AS A TEAM LEADER!?!?!? God, it stinks to be the oldest sometimes' thought the blond and disappeared in a flash. [exits thread]
