Surotto Etoku (Slot Understanding)
Rank: "C" ; "B" ; "A" Rank
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: Slot understanding is the understanding of Slots, the more slots a puppeteer knows the more puppets they can control. This means that if a puppeteer wishes to control a Large Puppet they must know Forty Slots. This means that if a user knows Eighty Slots they can control one Huge Puppet, or One Large Puppet with Two Medium Puppets, or Four Medium Puppets.
Special: Must be a Puppeteer.
Drawback: Must be learned multiple times in order for the person to use more then one puppet. The more puppets you know the smaller distance you have when using The Puppet Technique. A limit though is stopped by how many puppets can be controlled. A Normal Puppet master is only capable of controlling up to Ten Puppets at a time, this means one puppet per finger. The only way a user is capable of controlling more then ten puppets at a time by chakra strings is if they use the Hitokugutsu (Human Puppet) on them self.
Description: A puppeteer automatically knows twenty slots, this enables them to control One Medium sized Puppet or two small sized puppets. The more you go into Slot understanding the more you can control. Each time learned the user learns five more Slots. When the user reaches up to a hundred slots, the it gets harder for a user to use multiple objects and the training raises up to B Rank. When the user reaches up to three hundred slots, then the training goes up another rank of A Rank as the training becomes endless after that.
Limit: Must know Ningyoutsukai Seigyo Keii Chuui Kajuu (Puppeteer Mastery Light and Medium Weight) Along with this. Must be learned multiple times.

The next day, Yori was pumped to do more training. As much as she hated it, she had no choice but to learn Slot Understanding over and over again in order to control her second puppet. The child began activating her chakra strings, making the blue rays of light reach out onto her new puppet. It immediately began wobbling, and Yori tried controlling it by relaxing her fingers. She tried containing the shaking of her hands in order for the puppet to move smoothly. After a few seconds, the puppet became controllable for the small child. She would practice her control by moving each limb one by one just like last time.
The puppet would move its head, following Yori’s control of her index finger, and then it would move its legs and then its arms. The girl would continue this until the puppet was in complete movement. She made her fingers move simultaneously, making the puppet move faster now and smoother. Afterwards, she would stop her chakra flow and move on to the next part of her training. Yori would try to control one puppet with exactly one finger.
She wasn’t too excited about this. She knew that if controlling a puppet with one hand was hard, imagine one finger. It almost sounded impossible to her but she didn’t want to underestimate puppeteers. It was not impossible, just difficult. Either way, Yori would have the flow of chakra go through her fingers but she would then cancel all of them out except for her index finger. Only one chakra string glowed out of her tiny finger ready to take control of a puppet. She sighed and had it latch on to Sora, the lightest puppet first.
The light puppet would stay still, and Yori would struggle to move it. She felt the weight of the puppet pull down on her single finger, exhausting her. If Sora was this heavy with one finger, she could imagine the larger puppet. The child began to use her other hand to grab on to the chakra string, trying to help her tug at the puppet. She then realized this was only cheating so she took the time to tie her free hand up and continue trying to control Sora with just one finger. Suddenly, the small puppet began twitching.
“Sora-chan! You need a diet…” said Yori, jokingly speaking to her puppet. The puppet would answer using ventriloquism: “Look who’s talking!” Yori giggled and suddenly she felt the weight begin to lift off. Yori’s eyes became wide. All of a sudden, her puppet was lighter than before. “That’s odd…” It was almost as the puppet decided on its own will to help Yori out. Shrugging, Yori would continue to try and control her puppet with just one finger. The puppet swayed and danced in many directions except where Yori wanted her to go. She kept her finger stretched out, trying to keep Sora stable.
The small puppet was limp but at least above the ground, hovering like most puppets did. Yori tried thinking of a solution to help her control Sora better. She wished one of her parents were near by so she can ask them. But then she shook her head. She would figure this out on her own. “It seems as if this single chakra string is only keeping her body up, but not controlling any of her limbs…” Yori then gave herself an idea from realizing that one fact. Perhaps she would be able to split that single chakra string into many thin ones. Trying out her theory, Yori would have an extra amount of chakra flow through her finger. The chakra string would grow thicker and thicker until soon, it basically popped.
The chakra string broke into many others, looking like small fibers of hair. The chakra strings were still attached to the base of Yori’s finger, but they were scattered all over the air. She controlled them to attach on to her puppet, and the chakra strings did as directed. The found their way towards the puppet and latched on to the puppet’s different limbs. Yori then decided to give it a test run. She would move her finger, and sure enough, the puppet began to move.
Sora was moving alright, but unfortunately not the way Yori wanted her to. The puppet would move its left arm when Yori tried making her move her leg. The puppet would nod its head when Yori would try to command it to move its hands. The puppet was disobedient. Looking at her finger, Yori tried figuring out how to control her puppet better. She flicked her index finger to the left which moved the puppet’s leg. She then flicked her finger to the right which moved the puppet’s other leg. With this discovery, she began seeing a pattern. A certain way Yori moved her finger would move a certain part of the puppet’s body. Excited, the girl would try to find out which movement of the finger moved what limb…
