Suna no Yoroi (Sand Armor)

Effect: A Think layer of sand that wraps around the user so then they gain the capability of using it as a defense against on coming attacks. The sand is durable, and quite flexable as well that fits neatly around the very user. It may not be as protective as the Sand Shield technique but it helps those that are in need. The Sand Armor is only capable of protecting the user against attacks launched by those who are equal in Class or lower in Class.

Drawback: A technique that has many drawbacks. The user looses an extremely numerous amount of stamina when they have this placed upon them. If the user is a NinJutsu Master they are capable of having this technique up and running for ten posts, and rest for two posts before they use it again. If the user is a NinJutsu Specialist this technique lasts for only Five Rounds and rest for five posts if they wish to use it again. And if the user is a Non NinJutsu Specialist this technique lasts for two rounds before the user becomes to hot and fatigued and rest for ten posts before they are capable of using it again.
Description: A technique that is wrapped around the user's body and sticks on their skin, clothes while hardening greatly. The sand forms into the color of the clothing as well, to show those that attack do not know that the user has a sand armor around them.
Limit: Must have the Sand Release. Must know Sand Control. This technique takes up a total of 10 Meters Radius.

There was only one place to train a sand technique in the Rain Country, and that was on the outskirts. It was named the Rain Country for the obvious reason that downpour rarely ceases, so Kaori had realized from a very young age that she would need to go to the border of the country in order to successfully train and use sand techniques. If anybody ever tried to go into her village then she would probably have to use her Kaguya techniques, but the Sand Release was extremely useful in countries other than Rain. Putting her hands together so that they formed the most basics of handseals, Kaori closed her eyes and used her knowledge of the Sand Release to call the sand out of her gourd, the cork popping off and landing on the ground by her heels. It was pretty early in the morning with no sun out yet, so Kaori had to warm herself up a little bit. She began to move the sand all around the area, using her extensive knowledge of Sand Control to bring the sand to its full limit before bringing all of it back to her feet. She did this for several minutes before she began to go into the technique of the hour: Sand Armor. She already knew a lot about this technique since many sand manipulators used it around the lands. This would be an easy technique to learn.

Keeping her palms together, Kaori closed her eyes and began to move the sand up her body. As it slowly climbed up, she began hardening it against not only her skin, but her clothes as well. The sand started at her toes and worked up past her knees, torso, chest, shoulders, neck, and then finally her head. It was a rather slow process at the moment, but that was mostly because she was just learning it. The sand traveled the entire length of her body before she opened her eyes, immediately realizing that the sand hadn’t been hardened enough to wear it could actually be considered armor. She had tried to compact her chakra so that the sand would compact as well, but it was a complete and utter failure. The sand was that on a beach: a liquid more than a solid. It slowly dripped off of Kaori’s body, landing back at her feet with no significant impact other than the feeling that she had failed. She sighed slightly as she corrected her stance, fixing her posture and such. She wasn’t going to give up after one failed attempt; she would try until she succeeded.

The sand once more crawled up Kaori’s body, but now it was even slower than before, and with good reason. She wanted it to travel as slow as possible for this attempt so that she could make sure she put enough chakra and concentration into it. She poured the chakra out of the many pores of her body, directing it into the sand particles where a silent, mental connection was developed. The chakra in the sand reported back to the chakra within Kaori, and from there orders were carried out by the chakra circulatory system in Kaori back to the chakra within the sand. So basically Kaori’s body chakra told the sand chakra to compact and harden itself, and that was what happened. The only problem was that sometimes the chakra didn’t know how to perform a specialized task or it just wasn’t used to doing it yet, which was yet training was for. A shinobi constantly has to learn new ways to use their chakra so that they can adapt to any technique that they might have to learn in the future. The sand continued to travel up Kaori very slowly. It was like a very slow ocean wave passing over the beach shore at night.

The chakra began to listening, though this process was, like everything else about this jutsu, very slow. Nothing was moving fast enough for Kaori. She could be patient about some things, but this was just ridiculous. Her eyes shut so that she wouldn’t mess up her focus, she could only trust in the chakra that flowed through her body to successfully complete this technique. She could feel something lock around her legs, knowing straight away that it was the chakra latching itself to her legs. It didn’t take long for the rest of her body to feel the same action. The sand locked around her stomach, her chest, her shoulders, her hands, her head, and everything in between. She opened her eyes, looking at her body, but it didn’t appear as if anything had changed. Her clothes and her skin were both still there. It wasn’t until she looked more closely at her hand did she realize what had just happened. Particles of sand were falling off of her pinky and landing in the pool of sand at her feet. She used her Kaguya bloodline to eject a bone from the middle of her palm. Sand covered the entire thing, washing away when the bone had reached its full length. “Awesome.”

All of her bones now back inside of her own body, Kaori wanted to test the limits of this technique for real. She wanted to know how long it would last and how strong its defense really was. She had to find somebody else to spar with for the time being, so she went into the nearest town, knowing that there would be another Rain shinobi somewhere around here. It didn’t take long for her to spot a headband around somebody’s forehead. She grabbed them, asked them if they wanted to spar, and as soon as they said yes, dragged them out to her training spot on the outskirts of the Rain Country. The boy, a year or two younger than Kaori, happened to be a Goken Master, so this would be an extremely interesting fight. She had told him that she wouldn’t use any offensive moves for she just wanted to test the defensive capabilities of this technique. The kid just shrugged and backed off, creating a few meter distance between the two temporary opponents. Kaori told him to wait a moment so that she could redo her Sand Armor. She let the original Sand Armor, which was reduced to almost liquid now, fall down at her feet as she put her palms together, focusing her chakra so that she could form it once more.

It didn’t take as long for the sand to travel up her body this time since she had grown used to it by now, but Kaori still put a lot of concentration into the armor’s formation. The chakra poured out of the Kaguya girl’s body, going directly into the sand, where it was hardened, compacted to the point where the sand was completely solid. It was easy to see where it got its name. It really was like a weapon smith’s armor. They were usually the ones in every village that wore the big, noisy armor that made all the clanking noises since the pieces of armor slid against each other annoyingly. Kaori felt that locking motion again, knowing that the sand was going up her body and hardening as it went. When it really grasped the user’s skin it had this locking feeling where it grasped the user’s body and clung to it like sand to wet feet. Kaori opened her eyes, her fingers and palms still together, to see the Goken master staring at her in amazement. He said nothing. She looked at her body, seeing the last bits of sand blend in with her clothing and her skin. “Alright, I’m ready. Let’s do this.”

As soon as the words left her lips, the Goken master was off. He used his enhanced speed to quickly close the distance between the two of them. He lifted off the ground, spinning in the air and coming around to aim a kick to Kaori. She was a Taijutsu Specialist plus a Kaguya so she wasn’t going to be taken off guard by such an amateur move. She quickly ducked her head and put her arm up to block the kick, but she didn’t bring out her bones like she would usually do in a fight such as this. She wanted to test the Sand Armor technique, not the bones of her bloodline. The foot connected with her arm, sending cracks down the armor, but not completely destroying its properties. Sand from the ground quickly traveled up her leg and her body, going to the part in her arm where the cracks had been formed. The sand filled in the cracks and hardened itself. The process was very quickly; Kaori only noticed it out of the corner of her eye as she waited for the next attack to come. The Goken master hit the ground and began throwing a flurry of fists forward at his opponent. Kaori had been taken off guard so, not knowing what to do, she criss-crossed her arms across each other in an X-formation to try and block it. This would really test the strength of the armor.

Eight out of the ten fists landed straight into the wrists of Kaori’s hands. She could feel the impact, her feet sliding across the ground from the sheer force of her opponent’s arms. After the first eight she thought that the attack was over, so she put her arms down, not able to see with the way she had them up. This proved to be what looked like a fatal attack, but it wasn’t. The ninth punch came straight at her chest, which was supposed to knock the wind out of her, but it didn’t. The same hand that had punched her chest now grabbed her shirt as the tenth came straight to her face, knocking her onto her back and ass. The flurry of punches directed at her hands had left fracture marks all over, but sand from the pool at Kaori’s feet traveled up her body to fix that. Her chest sand had been completely shattered, but the punch hadn’t knocked out her lungs like it was supposed to do. The same thing had happened to her face as well. The sand from the pool at her feet kept coming up to repair her as well. She only smirked as she got back up to face the Goken master.

“Thanks. We’re done here.” She knew that she had mastered this technique since she had gone through that whole fight without a scratch on her actual skin.

Suna Hogo Sochi no Jutsu (Sand Shield)

Effect: The user slams his hands down on the ground, bringing up a large amount of sand around him into the air to block attacks. This technique is as strong as the user and is strong against those who are equal or lower in class then the user themselvs. This technique lasts for three rounds but the user is capable of gaining more time with this technique if the user keeps training into the technique. The more the user learns the longer it is capable of lasting.
Special: "Handseals" Slams their hands to the ground.
Drawback: This technique only lasts as long as the user trains into the technique. This technique also has a very large drawback which is that the user can not be within five feet away from the technique. If the user does so the technique will then fall apart.
Description: The sand Shield looks like a massive dome. As the user performs their seals and slams their hand down to the ground the sand rises up and covers the user in a massive dome of sand. The user is unable to see outside of the sand and would need the technique of the third eye in order to help the user. The massive dome condenses with the sand as the sand hardens greatly allowing a number amount of protection against the opponents who wish to do harm. This attack however is quite weak against Lightning attacks.

The sand still pooling around her feet, Kaori looked down at it, trying to pull techniques from her mind so that she could figure out what she needed to train. She was still going for the defensive portion of the Sand Release, which led her to remember the Sand Shield jutsu, which was similar to the one she had just previously changed, but it was much stronger. It also took a little bit longer to perform since she knew she would have to do handseals and then slam her hand upon the ground. She began to go through the four handseals that would be necessary for this technique, but she didn’t perform them quite yet. She wanted to begin to channel her chakra a bit more to get a good flow going. The first two seals were just to spark the chakra and get it moving throughout the body; the third seals was to actually pour the chakra into the sand; and the last seal was to put chakra into the hand so that when Kaori slammed her hand against the ground, the chakra would be released and the dome of sand would be able to form. While the dome was constructing itself, Kaori would have to harden and compact her chakra and sand, just like what she had done with the Sand Armor. So, the female Kaguya began to go through all of her seals, making sure she knew how to perform each one with ease. She wanted to get through the seals as quickly as possible. She didn’t want to waste any time.

So, after imitating the handseals for a few minutes, Kaori put her hands up in front of her, fixed her posture, and tilted her head downward with her eyes shut. This was how she trained, though she would never actually go into a battle like this. Her fingers twisted into the first seal, causing her chakra to flare up with intensity. She could feel it going throughout her entire body as her fingers made the second seal now, which only stimulated her chakra system with even more passion and ferocity. The third seal was where things really got started. She made this seal, and chakra poured out of her body and onto the sand, which still remained at her feet. The chakra spread out in a few meter radius in the span of a second. The chakra had to be able to get to most places in the sand just in case Kaori would need to use that sand for something or other. The sand always had tiny specks of chakra, but that was just so that she would be able to use Sand Control, which was the most basics of the Sand Release. The last seal plus the hand slamming was where the actual jutsu took place. Kaori just hoped her chakra control would be strong enough to support the entire dome.

The last handseal was made in what appeared to Kaori as slow motion. She smirked as she went into a crouching position, her hand slamming on the ground, causing some dust and sand to fly through the air. The last seal she made had put a lot of chakra into her hand so that when it made contact with the ground the and immediately reacted. Kaori smirked as her hand hit the ground and the sand immediately shot up into the air. Her eyes were opened now since she had completed her set of handseals. She kept her hand on the ground, still pumping her chakra through it so that the sand would harden as it traveled up to connect at the top and complete the formation of the dome. She continued to put more and more chakra into the dome, looking up at the dome as it was finished closing in. She stood up, not realizing how small the inside of the dome would be when she had started the technique. She could only take maybe one and a half steps in each direction. She put her hand against the dome, but it immediately cracked. She realized that she had enough chakra control to harden it, but her chakra hadn’t really provided the thickness that was needed to make the walls of the dome strong enough to withstand the most simplest of touches. She sighed as she cut off her connection with the technique, the dome immediately falling into a pile of sand at her feet. “Let’s try this again.”

Putting her hands back together, Kaori prepared herself both mentally and physically to perform this technique once more. She was tired of wasting her time redoing these kinds of things. She just wanted to finish and get it over with so that she could head on to the next thing. Her fingers quickly went into the first two seals at lightning speed. A second might not have even passed by the time those two seals were finished. It was obvious that she was at least a little frustrated by the way she was doing this. She was doing it accurately, but very quickly. The chakra within her body was still filled with passion and intensity; nothing had changed. She was still filled with that ferocity to get this done, but she was just much hastier when she did it now. The third handseal poured chakra into the sand all around the Kaguya. She then id the last handseal and slammed her hand upon the ground. But, instead of staying down there as she had done before, Kaori now stood up. The dome quickly sprouted from the sand at the ground and went all the way up to complete itself. Running her hand against the side of it, Kaori could tell it was as hard as stone. “Perfect.”

Needing to find another worth opponent to test out the true defense capabilities of this technique, Kaori went back into the village nearest to her training spot to find that Goken master again. It didn’t take her long before she found him helping some old lady do some of her chores. It seemed that this was more or less his day off so he wasn’t training or doing missions, but just walking around the village where he had grown up. The female shinobi dragged him back to her training spot so that she could try and figure out just how hard this technique of hers was. She told him to wait a moment so that she could construct her Sand Shield real quick. She put her fingers together, needing to get chakra flowing once more. She took a few deep breaths, not doing the handseals just yet. She was pumping the chakra in her body. It was like water on the stove before it boiled. She was just putting the water into the pot and preparing to flip the dial to heat it up. It didn’t take long before the pot was on fire, so to speak. Kaori could feel her chakra bubbling in her veins. She smirked and opened her eyes, staring directly ahead into the plains of the Rain Country ahead of her. She was ready to pull this technique off once more. She had to make it as strong as could be so that the Goken master wouldn’t be able to damage it too much.

Doing another strand of handseals that would only stimulate her chakra to an even farther degree, Kaori cast the Third Eye technique which made an eye out of sand so that she would be able to see what the Goken master was doing on the outside of her protective dome. He had wasted no time for he was already in a full charge toward her dome. He probably didn’t realize that she could see him though. She watched him body flicker until he got to the front of the dome, where he then unleashed a flurry of ten punches, which was the same attack he had used when they were sparring when Kaori had Sand Armor on. She smirked inside of the dome as the eye watched the damage; it was rather minimal. It created a few cracks and maybe a dent or two, but sand from the pool on the ground from Kaori’s gourd just slid up the side of the Sand Shield and began to repair the damage. Kaori watched as the Goken master continued to pound his fists and his legs and his knees into the front of the dome, but it was all a lost caused. Kaori put her palm flat against the inside of the dome, strengthening it even more with her chakra. Just by a single touch she could feel that its properties were a small bit dented, but she just put some chakra into it and all was fixed. The Goken master seemed to have an idea for he backed away and spread his legs, as if preparing some sort of powerful technique. “Hmph, let him come.”

Her hand pushed up against the side of the dome, Kaori tried to figure out what her opponent was doing. She had the optical nerve connection tied to the Third Eye justu which was cast on the outside of the dome still. Her smirk disappeared once she realized what he was preparing: a lightning technique. It seemed that this guy had more than just a few simple Taijtusu moves. He held his right wrist with his left palm, preparing a move that was obviously unique to the Uchiha clan: it was Chidori. Just shaking her head, Kaori immediately began to build more and more sand and chakra into the walls of her dome. She needed to strengthen it in any way possible, but it was proving to be a difficult task. Most of the time the sand would just slid off the side of the dome. She was in a panic and it wasn’t doing any justice for her. In the end Kaori just put her flat palm against the side of the dome and closed her eyes, hoping the dome would be able to withstand such a great technique. She watched through the Third Eye to see that her opponent was ready. He charged forward, going into two body flickers to close the distance. His hand, now covered in white and blue, was radiating with chakra and lightning. He slammed his hand against the side of it, completely destroying the side of the dome. Luckily, Kaori wasn’t injured. She just looked at her opponent with wide eyes full of fear. She canceled the jutsu and nodded to him. “Thanks.”

Sighing, Kaori realized that she was going to need to build up on her lightning and water-counters because that’s what sand was weak against. She had always known this, but it had become relevant when that kid had used Chidori against her defenses. She already knew that the Thunder God of Sand technique would negate most lightning techniques so she could just use her Kaguya moves if she came into contact with a water user. Feeling a bit more upbeat, Kaori decided she would do this technique one more time to finish it off. Then she could go about training something else for the time being. She brushed the sand off of her robe and put her hands together, ready to do the string of seals for this technique for the final time today. She did the seals in rapid succession. Her chakra had already been built up so the first two seals were almost unnecessary. The third seal pushed even more chakra into the already chakra-ridden sand that made the pool at her feet. The fourth seal was done a bit slower followed by Kaori slamming her palm on the ground, which sent waves of chakra through the ground right away. Kaori smirked once more as the dome sprouted up, encasing her. She was like a butterfly in a cocoon. She looked around herself, and then nodded satisfactorily. She had finished this technique.

Bone Claws

Effect: The user pushes the knuckles of their fingers a little outwards and quickly exerts out three claws from the indents of the knuckles into three like claws.

Drawback: "D" As long as the claws are out the user will undergo the disease capability because of the bones being within the inner body as well as the natural healing capability found within the Bones of the user.
Description: The user exerts outwards three claws from their inner part of their skin that is located near their knuckles. The bones along their fingers and the muscles along their fingers pushes out the bones in a hardened shape form. The bone solidifies making it seem like three large like claws as the claws are pushed out in a distance of approximately eighteen inches in length.

Wanting to take a break from the Sand Release, Kaori thought it would be a good idea to try and get at least one Kaguya technique down for the day. The sun was slowly ascending in the sky, signaling that it was approaching the mid-part of the day. Picking up the cork which had been resting at her feet, Kaori summoned all the sand at her feet back into her gourd and then closed it with the cork. She made sure it was properly sealed before she began to push bones out of every opening in her body. She twirled around a little bit, trying to get a feel for it since she had been using sand for the last few days. She loved the Sand Release, but there was something about the Kaguya bloodline that she just loved. The simply grace of the dances was enough to keep her entertained forever. She already knew which technique she wanted to learn: Bone Claws. She really wanted to learn this one because it was simple and it opened the doorway to many other techniques that she really wanted. She wanted to eventually master the entire Kaguya bloodline, meaning every technique she could, but she was a long way off from that. For now she would take it bit by bit, jutsu by jutsu. She wasn’t going to give up now.

Using her extensive knowledge of the bones within a Kaguya’s body, Kaori began to focus on the bones within her hands. She slowly began to push the bones out from her knuckles, making it appear as if she had claws, which was where this technique got its name: Bone Claws. The process of actually lengthening the bones so that they would stick out took a lot more skill and practice than one might realize. The muscles actually had to contract in order for the bone to be able to get out. The bone had to be able to make itself longer so that there was still enough of it to go through the hand. If the bone was too short then Kaori wouldn’t be able to move her hand around normally. If the bone was too long then there really was no consequence other than possibly not being able to control the claws. Kaori looked at the bones that she had drawn out of her knuckles, poking them with her fingers. She wanted to make sure they were sturdy so that they wouldn’t break after she sliced into something. Swinging them around a little bit, Kaori got used to having them there. She didn’t want to throw herself off balance or anything. The bones themselves were approximately eighteen inches, which obviously isn’t a small size at all. She had to get used to them.

Walking around the Rain Country for a little bit, Kaori found the nearest tree and smirked as she spread both her arms and her feet apart, getting into a bit of a Taijutsu stance. She looked at the tree, which she labeled as her target for this training exercise. She cracked the bones in her knuckles, a small smirk spreading across her face. She slid almost her entire body around as she brought her claws straight toward the center of the tree. Her hand was clenched up into a fist, shaking. Kaori’s bones made contact with the tree and immediately shattered into at least two dozen pieces. They went everywhere, all over the ground, but Kaori barely felt any pain at all. She felt a little disappointed that her technique had been a failure, but the bones breaking didn’t have much of an effect on her. She simply grew them again and looked at them, trying to figure out what she had done wrong. She looked at both claws before putting more energy and chakra into both of them, trying to strengthen the bones as much as possible. She felt her bones and muscles clenching within her body as a reaction. She wanted to make sure she could pull this off so that she could move on to bigger and better jutsu. She spread her arms and legs out again, preparing to strike the tree once more.

Kaori’s left arm cut through the air violently, whipping her left hand around with the bones sticking out so that they would make three very distinct marks across the bark of the tree. Kaori smirked as she looked at the bones, which just had pieces of the bark on the tips. She had maintained the properties of her own bones while damaging her target. She was beginning to get the hang of this technique. She began to unleash a flurry of cuts and slashes at the tree in front of her. She wanted to test how much her bones could take before they shattered, but it turns out she could go at this all day long and the bones would still be completely fine. The bones made contact again and again with the bark of the tree, each time only leaving marks on the tree and none on the bones. Kaori just shrugged and smirked as she held the tree with her left hand and stabbed through the tree with her right claws. The bones went through the front and out the back of the tree, making clean enter and exit wounds. She shrugged again and withdrew the bones from her knuckles, making it appear as if she was normal once more. “I’m done here.”

Description: The user performs the necessary hand signs to mold the surrounding sand into shackles, containing the target with added force. The chains run from underground, and pull inward, making it seem like they are being pulled underground by the chains from a certain area.

Done with that single Kaguya technique for her training session for the day, Kaori reached around to the heavy case on her back and took out the cork, letting it drop to the ground at her feet as she had done before. She then called the sand out from her gourd, letting it spread out a few meters in every direction. Kaori then cracked her knuckles and began to work on another Sand Release technique. This one was a C-Rank as well, but it was probably one of the most useful out of any of the Sand Release jutsu. Why? Because it let Kaori actually trap her opponent, nailing them to the ground basically. After she got an opponent to stay in one place it would be all too easy to simply destroy them using a much more powerful technique, like a Kaguya spear. She let out an evil little giggle just thinking about it. She began to whip the sound around in the rough airs that were growing in the outskirts of the Rain Country. She created her own little sandstorm for a little bit before allowing it to die down. She just wanted to get used to all of this sand and such before using it again. She was still more focused on Taijutsu than Ninjutsu so she had a lot more Kaguya techniques than Sand Release techniques, but she was still in the learning process of figuring everything out for herself.

Taking a deep breath, Kaori did what she did in almost every sand technique: handseals. She began to go over the five handseals slowly, making sure each one was perfectly formed. As said earlier, she didn’t want something as simple as a handseal to slow her down. She performed the Horse seal, putting her knuckles together in such a way that there was a small gap between each. Her index fingers on both hands then moved at an angle upward, connecting at the tips. The Rat seal was simply covering the index and middle fingers of one hand with the other hand. The Serpent was putting the hands together; the Dog was putting a flat palm over a fist; and the tiger was closing the hands together with the index fingers of both hands sliding together upward. In order for one to properly learn a technique that required handseals, they had to properly perform the seals. That’s what Kaori was doing right now so that the seals wouldn’t hinder her when she had to do this technique in an actual fight. She then did all the handseals in rapid succession, nailing every one. Once she finished the set, she repeated them. She did this for a few minutes before her hands got tired and she stopped. She cracked the bones in her hands, easing the stress on them.

The other part of this technique before actually performing it was the works of using the underground as an ally in bringing down the opponent. If Kaori used her knowledge of Soil Conversion then nobody would even see the sand when it came up and grabbed the target by the ankles. She closed her eyes and put her hands together in just a random, basic handseal. She worked out a mental map of the current underground in her mind, trying to figure out what minerals and rocks would be of use in getting more sand. It was hard to get sand from below the ground simply because you had to splice and cut through many rocks and such to get the sand out of them, which is a long, annoying process that Kaori never really liked. She had trained it to B-Rank though, so she was putting it to good use right now. She spliced and cut through all the rocks underground, not leaving a single one untouched. She then pooled the sand underground, continuously adding to it until she thought she had enough. She then discontinued that for now, but still kept the sand flowing there so that she wouldn’t lose it. As the sand continued to move around beneath the ground, Kaori tried to find a target to practice this technique on. But, when none was found, she decided to do the technique on her own self. If she performed it on herself then she would really know if it was good enough to stop training or not.

The Kaguya female went through the handseals one more time and thought about the Soil Conversion technique just once more. She wanted to perform this perfectly the first time she did it, which was why she was putting so much time and effort into it now. She felt the chakra flow through her body rather majestically; it moved through her veins, through her bloodstream, with relative ease. She poured out all that chakra into her sand. And, as she stared at it, she saw it twitch from the sudden burst of energy it had received. She smirked to herself as she twisted her palm out in front of her, which triggered the beginning of this technique. She knew that she didn’t have to do anything fancy with her palm, but it just looked cool when she did it. The Soil Conversion technique was now put to perfect use. The sand shot up from the ground and quickly formed into shackles, clapping around Kaori’s feet. She tried to move, wanting to test the limits of this jutsu, but she found herself unable to do so. Instead, it appeared as if she was being dragged into the sand. She felt her body slowly sinking into the sand. Her chakra control was very strong, very developed, during the course of this technique. She cut off the connection with the technique and smirked, nodding to herself.

It wasn’t long at all before Kaori got bored of training and wanted to test out her new ability on somebody. This was when she was going to go look for that Goken master again, but this time there was no need for that. Somebody actually walked on the Kaguya’s own training grounds, looking to pick a fight. Apparently the teen boy that was challenging Kaori claimed that this was his training spot, not hers, and so he wanted her to leave. Kaori refused, so it seemed that there was going to be a fight and the winner got to take the grounds for their own training. Kaori smirked; now she could not only practice this new technique against somebody, but she could also do it in a situation where the fight was real. This way she would be pressured to do everything faster, but also to do everything accurately. She put her arms inside of her robe sleeves to conceal her hands so that her opponent wouldn’t know when she was doing seals. She straightened her back and looked straight at the boy, ready to fight him. He spread his legs and arms, getting into a Taijutsu stance. Kaori knew that this was going to be harder if she was fighting a Taijutsu user, but she didn’t mind. She knew that she was up to the task. As long as she remembered her training and didn’t make a stupid mistake she could win against this guy.

Quickly Kaori went into the handseals, though her target obviously couldn’t see this since her hands were inside of her sleeves. There was usually a bit of movement that people could see inside of the sleeves, but on this particular day it was windy, making it very hard to tell what she was doing. Kaori was wasting no time, but neither was her opponent, who quickly body flickered across the battleground. He got to the Kaguya girl in a split second with his fist going straight into her face. She only smirked as his fist made contact with her face and all of his knuckles cracked simultaneously. “Obviously you know nothing about Kaguyas.” Her hands had jumped a bit when he had punched her, but Kaori had managed to complete the handseals. She body flickered backwards so that she created distance between herself and her opponent. There was no Soil Conversion involved when Kaori performed Desert Chain Lock this time simply because there was no need for it. The boy she was facing had sped over to her, so now he was standing in a pool of sand hat had been created by Kaori’s gourd. The shackles were now put to good use as Kaori only smirked. She had built up a good amount of momentum by doing the seals and by withstanding the punch to her forehead. She was pumped to kill this guy.

The shackles sprouted up from the ground and locked around the target’s feet. Kaori only shook her head as he was pulled into the ground. He tried to take a step, but he was only able to move the upper half of his body. He quickly pulled out a kunai and leaned down, trying to break the shackles. Kaori thought that they were strong, but it appeared as if they were actually quite weak. They disabled movement, but they were broken rather easily by the simple blade of a kunai. Frowning, Kaori sighed as she began to do the handseals all over again; this time she put a lot more time and chakra into it. Time seemed to slow down now as the Kaguya female whispered the handseal as she performed each one in rapid succession. “Horse, Rat,” she muttered to herself, doing the first two seals, which pumped up her chakra and got her ready to handle this guy. Her fingers twisted and turned into the correct seals as she smiled evilly. “Serpent, Dog,” she said next, doing those two seals as her chakra poured into the ground, preparing the Soil Conversion technique that would be necessary to the successful completion of her opponent’s death. The last handseal required was Tiger, but Kaori didn’t tell herself this one. She simply performed it. Her eyes tracked the movements of the Taijutsu user in front of her. He had pocketed his kunai and was now body flickering to her, but he would be stopped short.

Far, far under the ground there were things at work. Rocks and minerals were being spliced and cut into smaller and smaller pieces until there was nothing but particles of sand and bits of cut up rock everywhere. Some of it was almost too small to be seen by the naked eye, but all of it was going to be needed for Kaori’s technique. She wanted this Desert Chain Lock technique to be a secret, which was why she was now glad for spending so much time on Soil Conversion. She rounded up all the soil and sand and took a deep breath, her eyes still tracking her enemy who was moving in a charge straight toward her. The sand quickly sprouted up from the ground as she grunted. The sand created perfect shackles, quickly tying around the Taijutsu user’s legs and sinking his feet and the bottom parts of his legs into the ground. A bone was ejected out of the middle of Kaori’s palm, putting her Kaguya skills to the test, as she now body flickered to her opponent. All of it was done in an instant, but it ended with her shackled opponent having a spike through his chest. He was dead before his body hit the ground. “Excellent.”

Sitting on the ground, Kaori broke everything about her Ninjutsu stance. She was feeling quite weary and dark was fast approaching. She hadn't done as much in the day as she would've hoped to, not by a long shot, but at least she got a few things done. She sat there, Indian-style, as she went back through the technique she had just learned. She tilted her head down, her eyes now shut, as she put her hands together, her face emotionless. She was void of all emotion when she trained; the only thing she wanted to feel was the chakra coursing through her veins. Unlike before, Kaori didn't mutter the words of the seals as she went through them in rapid succession. She didn't bother to do the Soil Conversion technique either since the Kaguya girl was sitting in a pool of sand. She only took a few deep breaths, her eyes slowly opening to see hardened sand shackles clasped around her ankles. "I'm done here."

Effect: The user is capable of creating clones by using the sand around them. Depending on how much sand the user has, and how well the user is capable of using this technique is dependent on how many clones the user is capable of creating. The C Rank version of this very technique allows the clones movement, and basic attacks such as punches and kicks, but no techniques. When first learned the user is capable of creating up to five Clones, this is for the D Rank Version. If the user learns the C Rank version they are capable of creating two clones. Each time learned for the D Rank Version of this technique the user is capable of creating two clones. Each time the user learns a C Rank version of this technique the user is capable of creating one extra clone.

Sitting in her sand, Kaori eventually fell over, drifting off into a deep sleep. She awoke in the dead night to hear nothing but the wind around her. She stayed on the ground for a little while, allowing her eyes to adjust, before she got back up. She had her rest, now it was time to get right back into training mode. Since she had just awoken from her slumber, Kaori thought it would be a good idea to do some low-level techniques for a little while. There were still plenty of D- and C-Ranks that she needed to complete for both Sand and her Kaguya bloodline, so she figured this would be the perfect time to get some of them done. First thing was Sand Clone. Though the clones can’t actually fight physically, they could make good distractions, so Kaori thought it would be a good technique to train. Plus, since it was a D-Rank, she could train it quickly. Stretching and yawning, Kaori rose to her feet and cracked the bones all along her body. The sounds a Kaguya body could make were so disgusting that most people cringed at just the mere hearing of them. Kaori put her index and middle fingers of both hands together and straightened out her back, ready to get into this technique. She knew that it would only take her five minutes at the very most to complete this. Techniques involving clones were usually pretty simple for somebody with an advanced chakra system.

Forming a basic seal, Kaori thought about the handseals that she had to do to complete this technique quickly. She only had to do four total so she planned out what her body should be doing during the course of each one. The first one would just be preparation to get the chakra sparked in the body. The second and third ones would be to continue the circulation of chakra through the body and the fourth one would be the chakra sinking into the sand to create a reaction to create the clone itself. Kaori’s face remained blank, but it didn’t look tired or weary in any way. She did the first seal, feeling the chakra spark inside of her body as a very small smirk formed across her lips. She did the next seal, feeling the chakra increase dramatically like gasoline added to a fire. The third seal continued to keep her body motivated, the momentum now pretty high so it was almost impossible to stop the chakra flow. The fourth seal spilled out a good amount of chakra into the sand. Kaori waited a moment after she did her set of seals before she got any sort of reaction out of the sand. The sand slowly began to twitch and fumble about itself before the actual technique began.

One clone sprouted up from seemingly nowhere. The clone had a body, but the dimensions of it were very far off from being a clone identical to Kaori. It was at least a foot shorter than her and it had a blank face and a flat chest. Kaori didn’t realize that she actually had to form a mental picture of herself while doing the handseals in order to get a successful result. Putting her fingers back together, Kaori closed her eyes and formed a mental picture of herself. She always looked the same every day so this wasn’t hard at all. She was just an inch over five feet tall, she was pale, she was a bit muscular from carrying her gourd around, she had white-grayish hair, and she wore a long black robe with leggings underneath. Keeping this picture in her head, Kaori kept her eyes shut as her fingers twisted and turned into the correct seals. Her face was once more devoid of anything even resembling a bit of emotion. Her chakra was already on fire with all the chakra in her body so the first three handseals were almost unnecessary, but they were done anyway just so that Kaori got used to doing them. Upon the fourth seal being cast, the chakra within Kaori’s body spilled into the ground. Then, like when adding water to a plant, a clone of Kaori sprouted up from the ground. It was obviously made of sand, but it slowly became more and more like an actual resemblance of Kaori. She looked at it and smiled. That was one down and four more to go since Kaori remembered she could have up to five clones active at one time using this technique.

Her fingers back together, Kaori took a deep breath, gathering herself, before she went through the handseals for the last time for this particular technique. She closed her eyes, her head tilted down toward the ground. Her fingers began twisting and turning into the correct formations. The Kaguya girl’s chakra was still electrified, but again, she did all four of the seals. She did them very quickly, almost sick of doing them by this point. Her eyes slowly opened as she finished the last one, feeling a part of her sink into the pool of sand that she was standing in. The wind picked up, sliding some of the sand across the ground, but the sand quickly came together to form four more clones identical to Kaori. She inspected each one of them, but all of them were the same. They all were her height, her weight visibly, her clothing, her gourd, and her hair. Everything about them was the same thing about her. Kaori smiled and nodded to herself. She canceled the technique out. “Well alright then!”

Upon exiting the gate the Kaguya had noticed a female with a large gourd upon her back. Gazing at her for the first time had his mind blanked for a second. Not coming off at hostile from his approach he would walk out and begin to glare at her with a view of her being. His lips would part as the words would be cycled throughout his brain and would begin to sliver out into a full blown sentence with the means of finding who and what she was doing here. Not noticing her at all he was more so wondering why is he still so far below strength to handle the others.

"Excuse me...may I ask what are you doing here? Pardon my rudeness...my name is Kouyou,"mused the Kaguya as he would begin to slowly make his way over to the young lady. Obviously she was either relatively skilled with what may be the sabaku release, but he wasn't sure. The gourd was a giveaway between a sand user, most would wonder what the purpose of a gourd, but Kouyou didn't. He was a warrior of the bones, the weapon of Rain that would be heavily honored. The resolve of his mother ever burning throughout his being.

Stepping even closer he would then await her answer, he was positioned behind her and awaiting her answer. This wasn't usual for Kouyou, but it told a different story than most. After all he just had got done with a tedious task of removing his toxins from his body to help him prolong his life a bit more instead of allowing the build up to cause so much pain and grief within his very being.

It was the early morning now and the clouds still filled the sky, covering any possible hope for a ray or two of sunshine. Kaori had wanted to get some more techniques down before she stopped, but it seemed as if that wasn't going to be possible at the moment for another force entered her training grounds. She quirked a brow quickly, hearing the words cut through the air. She turned to where the voice was coming from and eyed the other suspiciously, but did not attack. She was in her own country so the chances of the other being a Rain shinobi were rather high. Crossing her arms over her chest, Kaori's headband was now completely visible on her right arm, just below the shoulder. She got a strange vibe from this guy. She knew he wasn't hostile; he actually seemed like an ally, but she wasn't going to be so ignorant as to make assumptions just yet.

Stretching her left arm out, the Kaguya female called the sand back into the gourd on her back as she listened to the other. Was he a Kaguya too perhaps? That could've been why Kaori had gotten that feeling from him, but again, she didn't want to make assumptions so hastily, so she simply chose her words carefully. She leaned down to pick up the cork, then leaned back up, using the cork to plug the gourd up. Her long, grayish-white hair dangled all around her. This guy seemed to be even shorter than Kaori, which was rare since she was just an inch over five feet tall. She finally parted her lips to speak.

"I am here training the Sand Release as well as a few Kaguya techniques. Tell me, are you from the Rain Village?" He was foolish enough to give his name out. She wasn't.

Watching her quirk her eyebrow as the rest of her sand would begin to retract within her gourd. He would simply smile as he knew hostility could be the worse thing for any shinobi outside of the gates. Analyzing her skill he could tell she was above him by far, but that wouldn't cause any stoppage in his heart beat. Simply beginning to speak she would begin to turn around noticing the rain headband placed upon her arm.

"I am here training the Sand Release as well as a few Kaguya techniques. Tell me, are you from the Rain Village?" He was foolish enough to give his name out. She wasn't.

"Yes...I am from the Rain Village. So a fellow Kaguya is here as well. I thought I was the only one living within the village. I plan on going through some of the Kaguya techniques as well...would you care to be my partner," he would ask with his hands free from his hakama. He would await her answer as he would to begin to ponder what to train. This was in fact a strange turn of events for the Kaguya, but he wasn't sure how to react to a fellow Kaguya. Believing he was the only survivor this time must have been ludacris. Though now he had a brighter hope and future placed upon him.

Genin meeting another shinobi of his same bloodline. What a interesting turn of events it had been for the enigma known as Kouyou. Standing erect and watching her features, he wouldn't comment on them for he was well known as a bloodthirsty demon within the village. Though his act had clearly been cleaned up and he was now preparing himself for the worse. Now it was time for him to atone for his sins and possible become the village's best hope to strengthen them.

"Genin...Kouyou Kaguya of Amegakure," cooed the Kaguya as he would clean his previous statement up with a more official announcement of his name.

All her life Kaori knew that there were other Kaguyas out there, but she had never actually come into contact with any of them. Her parents, of course, had Kaguya blood running through them, but they had died when Kaori was still pretty young. Since then she had been on her own. She looked at the boy and immediately noticed that he was much younger than she, even if he was only an inch or two shorter. When you progress through time, your face gains experience that can easily be shown. Kaori wouldn't say she's seen everything, but she has seen a lot. Nineteen years of age teaches you a lot about the world. Kaori kept her face devoid of emotion as she nodded slightly to the other's words.

"I see. Well, it may not look it, but I am actually a very skilled Kaguya. I can probably teach you a few things as I train myself. I'm Kaori, a Chuunin of Amegakure. What shall we start with then, Kouyou?"

The Kaguya would think for a minute, but then it would hit him. He had several moves he needed to delve in within the Clan's techniques. Though wouldn't it make better for him to learn one more of the most deadliest, but gorgeous dances in the Kaguya's arsenal. He would rub his hand along his chin where stubble would be if he wasn't so young. Then he would begin to speak...

"How about we learn one of the many dances? May I ask you something? Do you have a team? I wouldn't mind being on your team as a guidance to my skills and such," stated the Kaguya with a look of satisfaction. Finally finding someone who shared the same blood and of greater strength than him. It would allow him to get even stronger, but if she accepted his offer he would even be more grateful to have her as his leader.

This was the beginning of what seemed to be a great moment for the Kaguya, but he wouldn't waste it. He was here to merely learn as much as he can and become a figure well known throughout the world. Kaguya will be known as the greatest beings to ever be apart of the Great Shinobi Nations. Amegakure deserved some recognition and more and that was his goal would she carry the same goal would be the question.
