Though it seemed as if his fingers were about to make contact with his opponent, at the last second Ryo’s enemy moved, and he was still a little distraught that he didn’t know that guy’s name. His fingers sliced through nothing but air, but it didn’t matter much anyway since the buildup of lightning had disappeared at the last possible second anyway. Trying to figure out what he had done wrong, Ryo quickly spun around, trying to figure out where his opponent had escaped. Obviously he had used a body flicker to avoid Ryo’s attack, but just where he had gone was a complete and total mystery. Ryo took this time to build up the lightning in his body given this rare spare moment in the heat of a battle. He was in the middle of a spin when his eyes closed and everything in time and space just seemed to slow down. He could feel the lightning pulsing through his body; if anybody here had their Sharingan or Byakugan activated they would be able to clearly see the aura of chakra radiating off of the young Uchiha’s body. Ryo’s body was now alive with the passion of the Lightning Release. He was alive! He was at his finest, and loving every moment of this incredible power. The simplicity of controlling the lightning element was essential to the technique that Ryo was in the middle of learning.
Quickly turning to get his opponent in his sight, Ryo didn’t take much time to analyze the situation, which was probably a fault on his part, but oh well, as he immediately went into another body flicker, making it his second out of three. Putting his fingers back into the Snake seal, Ryo powered up his entire body with this unique type of chakra. It was mixed with all this lightning, giving it this tingling feeling as it traveled throughout every tiny space inside of Ryo’s body. He could feel it spread from the core in his chest to the rest of his body. It was mostly going through his arms and into his hands simply because Ryo combined this technique with the small bit of Taijutsu that he actually knew, and even then he was just doing strikes that he had seen other people do around the Grass Village. The lightning just made parts of the Uchiha’s body radiate even more, to the point where small sparks went off here and there, but there was nothing that major going on. Ryo came out of the shunshin with the Snake seal still formed, his teeth gritted together, and his eyes narrowed. The chakra and the lightning was concentrated in his hands, which would make his strikes incredibly deadly, but his opponent wouldn’t know this at all since he wouldn’t be able to see the lightning inside of Ryo’s hands.
As Ryo came out of his shunshin, he noticed something almost immediately: his opponent had managed to do some handseals and construct his own weaponry: flame daggers. Ryo knew a little bit about that technique since he, as well as his brother, Genma, both had the Katon Release, but Ryo only had one technique nailed perfectly within that release. Ignoring it for now, Ryo put his index and middle fingers together again. One of them went for that soft, fleshy part around his target’s neck while the other went straight for the left rib cage. If they hit then the lightning would spread from the center hit-point to the rest of the body, sending random shocks throughout the central nervous system, which would slow down the reaction times of his opponent. Ryo smirked, knowing that if he hit him in both spots, the spar wouldn’t last too much longer. Ryo didn’t want to underestimate his opponent, though, so he didn’t make any assumptions quite yet.
Instead, he concentrated on the chakra that was pulsing throughout his body with the utmost intensity. That tingling sensation was the best feeling Ryo had ever felt; he was loving every moment, every second, of this pleasure. He knew this time that the lightning wasn’t simply going to ‘run out’ as it had done before. The connection between Ryo’s chakra and the lightning element in his body was abnormally strong. He was surprised that he had been able to keep it up, but he did had a pretty refined chakra system, so he wasn’t going to deny himself the power of the Lightning Release. He was currently putting all of his concentration on maintaining this technique. He pumped endless strands of chakra mixed with lightning from the middle of his chest to his hands, making sure that the connection would never be broken. Maybe this time the attack would actually hit.
