Her feet would lead her further from the wind captital after approaching the border to river. There wasn't much to going on except the heat. It only continued to rise for hours as her travel continued. Again and again, she would wonder if it cooled down here without the passing of the sun. Stopping for a brief moment, she took a few sips of water, only to discover that they too needed time too cool. The water in her cantein felt nearly boiled, and she spit it's sour contents on the floor.
Another few hours passed, and the temperature suddenly plumetted. The chill was amazing, but that was why she hated this country. The whether was over all, too extreme. Finally, after a half hour in the cold sands, she made her way into the river country again. Luckily for her, the weather here was more temperate and normal. For that, she was able to navigate much quicker throughout the night. Once she approaced the center, she soon found a small gently flowing river. Here, she started a fire and caught a few fish to eat. Full and content, she rested for a while before continuing her journey.
It was early the next day, maybe 4 in the morning before she awoke. The small size of the river country would make it very easy to pass through. So her feet continued to travel, the click clack or her shoes changing to a plodding sound of crunching leaves. It was still a little cold outside, but only a little. The sun was making a snow announcement for the new day. It probably wouldn't rise for another hour. The sky continued to stay it's deep rich blue color of the night. Her feet suddenly felt rather tired again. Once she approached a deep forest, she decided to rest under a tree. She'd continue once the sun came up.
When she awoke, it was about eight. The sun had been up for maybe an hour or too, and the refreshing rays aided in revitalizing her. Had this still been the wind country, she'd be dying right now. Still, she had to pick up the pace. For the next few hours, her feet continued to plow through crunching leaves as the land was suddenly filled with vast forest. Had she already made to the land of fire? It seemed so, but it migh have been too soon. Her eyes spied a few men off in the distance, near a caravan. She decided to ask where they were.
"Excuse me sir, where we?" She asked the nearest man.
"Well young lady we're in the land of fire. And where might you be heading?" he asked. They appeared to be merchants, but that wasn't of her concern yet. She was here, but now what?
