Kurogane was out behind the family house, where stood a large stump, that had been smoothed down to be used as a dummy for taijutsu and sword play. Kurogane layed his bag aside him, he opened it up and pulled out a large scroll. He unrolled it and read.
"Gouken no Kamae" he said as he read it allowed. He leaned up against the stump and read the details involving the stance. As he was reading the scroll, young children ran screaming down the streets. Kurogane found this to be somewhat distracting but he kept his focus on the scroll.
"Alright, I think I've got this down," he said, then placing the scroll back into his bag, he placed himself in front of the stump. He placed his feet together, standing up as straight as he could. He placed his left hand behind his back. Then raised his right arm, to a point where the back of his hand was facing the stump, his arm was bent at the elbow. He took in a deep breath, then exhaled as if to form a meditating pose.
"Gouken no Kamae!" he shouted then struck outwards with his right hand connecting with the stump. He repositioned himself in front of the stance. "Gouken no Kamae!" he shouted once again, and once again he struck the stump. Each time growing more powerful, then the time before.
He continued this for about an hour, he grew tired and his hand sore. He positioned himself once more.
"Gouken no Kamae!"he shouted, once again striking the stump with his right hand, this time following up with a strike from his left hand.
