Naming the New Raikage (Oth and Tie)

[Tieren]

Having just come back from the village council, the man and woman running behind him, Tieren started flying straight off toward the Drasani building where he first told Othello that he was the Raikage. Now he would be naming Othello the Raikage. Sending the lone ANBU that was with him off to tell Othello to come to this building, Tieren turned the corner and saw the Drasani building.

Jumping off his staff at the doorstep of the building, Tieren performed the Ram handseal and said "San-Da-Dee!" This unlocked the barrier for him and the council. He then sent a message of sorts to the barrier to allow Othello through, but not the ANBU sent to get him.

Walking through the Barrier, San-Da-Dee still active as it had to be active at all time while he was in here, Tieren turned to the Council members and said "Thank you for agreeing to this, you should have been able to foresee this happening. I was not ready, and I hope Othello will be ready." The council woman replied "Do not worry, it was honorable to step down when you did, you saw with your own eyes that you were not ready. Not many would be able to do that. Now let us wait for the new Kage to come" Tieren then said "Yes, lets wait." Yellow Hair shining with a bright light as was the ring, Tieren closed the door to the building so Othello wouldnt see who was inside.

[Othello]

Othello was in his house hitting all his energy into the many punching bags all around his living room. Flipping from one to another very easily and enjoying every minute of it as the rock music was playing from the speakers above him. As he was in mid flip Othello heard something at the windowsill, his sensitive ears picked up the feint footsteps of someone. Jumping from where he was standing towards the windowsill in a very precise back flip, Othello took out a kunai and held it to the ANBU that was in front of him. If it wasn't for the mask Othello was sure he knew the man was slightly shocked and scared.

"Oh....my apologies...." Othello said as he tucked his kunai back into his pouch. "Why are you hear friend?" Never has a ANBU come to see Othello about a thing, never. Their weren't many ANBU in cloud to begin with so this must have been important.

"Sir Othello I have been ordered from the Raikage himself to tell you to meet the Kage at the Drasani building. He also handed me this so you may get passed the barrier that protects the Drasani." The ANBU handed Othello a small parchment that had a special design on it. After Othello touched the design, the ANBU vanished in a blur of movement. Grabbing his sword and staff Othello left his house calmly making sure not to bring any unwanted attention to himself. The day was cold and it was raining. A thunder storm of large proportions was coming, thunder and lightning could already be heard beyond the nearby cliffs.

As Othello approached the Drasani building he wondered what was going on, what had he done for the Raikage to ask to see him. Upon reaching the door Othello sensed something around the building that would not let him through, this must have been the barrier the ANBU had told him about before. As the rain poured onto his body and the thunder and lightning could be heard above him, Othello took out the parchment with the design on it and placed it up against the Drasani building wall. The tag burnt up immediatly and the barrier began to fall. As it fell Othello shifted his footsteps on the mud underneath. He was nervous...

Othello entered the Drasani building closing the door behind him reactivating the barrier....Othello was now in darkness looking at the image of the Raikage that now was in front of him.

[Tieren]

Turning around as he heard the door open, Tieren stared at Othello with his San-Da-Dee. Making a note of Othello's pressure points for future reference, Tieren then smiled. "I am glad you came. And so quickly too. Please come in." He said as Othello stepped forward and the council members came out of the shadows. "Othello, you remember when I told you that I was Kage right? And that the announcement was going to be today on my induction into office? Well, I have something that I need to tell you." He said as he looked down, but quickly regained his composure.

He then looked at Othello with a blank look on his face, showing no emotion. "I am unable to remain as Kage. Throughout my reign as Kage, I was unable to do much, and not many people would be looking forward to having a 13 year old Raikage. So, I had a big dilemma on deciding who to name as the next Raikage. Well, it turned out that I went to the council and talked to them about my dilemma, and it turned out that we all came to a conclusion. Othello Marin, myself and the council would like to name you the new Raikage. Do you accept?" He said. He would bring up other business with him after his response, but he wanted it to sink in before bringing up more pressing matters.

[Othello]

Othello thought for a second there that he became deaf. He did not just hear what he thought he heard. 'me...kage?...' Othello thought to himself as he saw the image of the kage move in his mind. "But...why me Tieren?" Othello didn't know what to say exactly, whether to thank him or whether to not accept the position of Raikage. Things started racing through Othello's mind but the major one was the death and disappearances of all the Kages before him. They all were gone now and this was the only kage that Othello has met that actually resigned the position.

Contemplating this for about a moment Othello accepted the Raikage position, "I accept"

[Tieren]

"We picked you because we saw you and your strength. Not to mention, a 19 year old will be more accepted then a 13 year old. There are many other reasons why we chose you, but those were a couple more pressing matters why." He said as he reached his hand in his pocket and pulled out a cloud village headband.

"This headband used to be the headband of the former Kage, Nagare. He was murdered awhild back by a sound ninja. Now as you know, Sound is our Ally, and at first we thought the person kidnapped him, but according to what Kyuzu and Selina said, the sound nin, who used to be a ninja from coloud village, killed Nagare, and with the help of a puppeteer, whom we believe to be Nyzu since he went missing around that time, he was turned into a human puppet. Those I would say are grounds for war, but since he used to be a part of this village, there is nothing we will do to break our allience with them. I will leave you to decide what it is that we do about this. Think about it as your first formal decision as Raikage. Just as a side note, he may be a missing nin, but Sound couldve ordered him to kill the Raikage." He said as he extended his hand to shake Othello's hand and give him Nagare's headband.

[Othello]

Shaking the former kage's hand Othello felt a great weight upon his shoulders. War....cloud was not ready for this, and all the assumptions in the air would not be good for clouds future. Othello must think about this alone and only talk to his closet's peers on what course of action was to do next.

"Tieren...i would like it that this gathering never happened i don't want to be found out as kage just yet. I need to do something before that even happens." Othello turned towards the door to leave and waited for Tierens comment.

[Tieren]

Hearing Othello's words, Tieren made sure he had a good read on his pressure points. "Very well, but if I sense you in danger, I will try and help you. Know that the pattern of your pressure points is in my mind and I plan on helping you anyway you can. Since you have control of the ANBU, if you want to meet me, we can meet here at anytime, just know that you cant get in unless I am with you. Now, if you have need of me, send the ANBU to search for me, I am not that hard to find" He said as he showed off all the yellow on his body.

"I dont think I can hide from much, now I must know something. The most I can do is push back the announcement 5 days, after that, I must make the announcement. When that happens I cant easily come back. If you need me to 'formally' keep my position then I will, but I will leave that up to you. Now please, everyone get out, because I am unable to hold the San-Da-Dee for much longer. It is draining my chakra, and has been long before you were summoned." He said as he put his fingers to his braing, showing he had a headache from loss of chakra.

[Othello]

"hmmm" Othello contemplated on this for a moment. How can he stay in power and be of any use to cloud if he was a target. "Ah i say that you will be the kage as of now and you will report to me as you directed, by meeting at this location." Othello thought this would be a good idea but was a bit sorry for putting Tieren in this situation.

"Thank you Tieren...." Othello left back into the storm from whence he came.

[Tieren]

Having read up on Othello's history in the library, he knew that he was blind. This meant that he had to try and guess what Othello was thinking since he didnt have an expression in his eye. Seeing Othello leave, Tieren turned to the council members and said "I am Raikage for 5 more days, or until I tell you. If he hasnt made any attempt to meet me, then the announcement will come that I am no longer Raikage, and that will be that. Sorry Kyuzu and Selina, but I may have to say no to your team." He then let the council leave and then he walked out of the building, closing the door behind him. Turning off his San-Da-Dee, the barrier rose, covering the building once more. He then hopped on his staff and rode home, it was time he paid a little visit there.
