Sitting on the roof of his new home, Kyo gased into the sky. Hoping to find the answers to all his problems, he watched as the sun began to set and the clouds dance in the sky with its many vibrant colours. Noticing a glimps of light, he turned his head to see two of the other villages Cloud Genin practicing some sort of lightning technique they had learned. Watching as the two played and laughed, as if they had no care in the world. Kyo longed for this feeling, but knew only one way to attain it.... train. He would have to train harder and longer than he had never done before. And with this said, he knew he couldnt stop untill his goals were met. Jumping down from the roof, he walked inside and over to a chest in his three room apartment (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen. Just so you know) a dug through it until he found a black scrol which had gold trim.
Reading it, he searched for a technique which would put him on the map, it had to be huge, somthing that would both impress and frighten people. Seeing nothing he liked, he was on the thought of giving up with the scroll. Almost about to put it down, before seeing the perfect technique, a jutsu which would allow him to harness the energy of lightning in the form of a dragon. This was exactly what he was looking for, and exactly what he needed to better himself in more ways than he could find. Marking the tech, he folded the scrol back up and headed out the door an down the street. If he was going to devote time to learning such a technique, he was going to do it in privet were he would not have to worry about distractions.
Finding a nice little spot right next to a waterfall which had come from a whole in the mountain, Kyo spread the scroll over a rock and re-read the techniques requirments. Seeing the long list of hand signs, he decided to start there. Preforming hand signs was already pretty hard for him to get down, but a series of long and difficult combinations... well that was almost out of the question for Kyo. But his sence of pride and determination would not allow for quiting, it was time to go big, or go home. And he aimed to go big.
After reading the needed hand signs, Kyo broke them down into four sets of four. Figuring the smartes thing to do first would be to start at the beggining, so he read the first set aloud, "Rat, Ram, Horse, Dragon". Slowly he began to form the handsigns within the first set, saying each ones name as the signals were formed. After finishing the dragon hand seal, He began doing it again, saying the names as he sped up a little bit each time. Repeating the first set a number of three times, Kyo was sure he had them down and was ready to move on to the next set. Reading the second set, Kyo said them aloud as he looked over each one. Dragon, Boar, Horse, Serpent. The second set indeed looked a tad bit harder than the last and would mostliky take longer to master than the ones before it.
Starting the combination, Kyo found the string to be a bit difficult to manage. But the more he practiced, the more he saw his effort pay off. Just like he had done with the first set, he said the seals names aloud as he formed them with his hand. Ending with Serpent on his first successful set. He preformed the set a total of nine times before finally being happy with the success rate. Looking back at the scroll, he listed the next, or third set. Saying the seals names out loud, they read as "Serpent, Monkey, Rabbit, Serpent". Having already gotten the serpent handeal down, Kyo figured that this set would be seemingly easy. Reading them over one last time, he began to form them with his hands, as he matched his hands with words as each one was formed.
The third set actually came out easier than the rest for Kyo, but he still preformed the set a few times to make sure he had them down for sure. A total of four times, was the number of times Kyo preformed the third set before moving on to the fourth and last set. After this he figured that he would have the handseals down and be ready to move on to the actual practice of the technique. A little excited and a little bored, Kyo began to rush through the last set. Taking only enough time to read over the seal once "Dragon, Horse, Monkey, Bird". Noticing that another new seal was present, he figured it would take about six times before he would have this set down and ready to begin the actual training.
Starting off with two seal he had already mastered, Kyo was able to get through these without pause. But when he reached the Bird seal, he had to stop and redo it at least five times. Finally completing it once without flaw, he tried a number of six more times. Getting a success ratio of about 4/6 he figured the odds were good, and called the hand seals mastered. Walking back over to the rock at which he layed the scroll down on, Kyo folded it up and spwraled out ontop of another odly sixed boulder to take a short nap.
