Axcel dragged himself to the third pillar and paused slightly as a breeze of wind flew by. He went into his combat stance and bashed his right knee into the third column of ice. Chunks of ice flew as Axcel repeated doing this over and over. His leg began to feel weaker but he continued on anyways, crashing his knee in an upper-cut motion against the durable ice. The top of the ice column shattered as usual. He repeated the simple steps, which consisted of him bashing his knee against a solid surface such as the ice.
Eventually the pillar became very short, about knee level. The attack was still not strong enough, not strong enough for Axcel at least. He wanted to be able to crush it with ease and little to no recoil in return. His right leg began to tremble due to the amount of force he was putting on it, he could have collapsed any minute now but he kept going.
“Next!” Axcel said gleefully as he limped towards the final pillar and smashed his left knee in an upper-cutting motion at the pillar. This began to feel very repetitive and boring to Axcel, but it would be worth it in the end. Pieces of ice shed off the column as usual. Nothing new happened; it was basic training for a basic move. Taijutsu training dealt pain to the body, but once used on an opponent it will be dealing even more on them.
“Damnnit, I won’t be stopped because your getting tired!” Axcel said as he attacked the pillar, he was referring to his knee even though he knew his knee could not speak back. His right leg once again felt as if it was ready to give up and drop to due applying pressure since it is the standing leg and holds him up as he attacks.
He continued on though, ignoring the possible consequences that could be dealt to his body. The ice began to shatter as usual, except this time Axcel had done it a little faster. Improvement could be noted, but Axcel still wasn’t satisfied. He continued striking at the column of ice until it was knee high, just as the other three.
“Gah my knee is killing me, but I’m not quite done yet.” Axcel said with a smirk on his face. He moved away from the columns. He had a three step training plan for taijutsu now. Practice the technique by hitting nothing but air, then physically strengthen yourself against a solid object, and finally a real combat test against his clones. He walked to the center of the lake and held the tiger seal, preparing to call out his bunshins. It was time for the third step.
“Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu!” Axcel shouted out loud and activating the jutsu. Water came bursting out of the cold lake and four clones of Axcel were created. They all looked at Axcel, already knowing their purpose for being there. The first clone dashed at Axcel and a sent a flurry of punches at him.
Axcel put up his arms to block and took the hits, after he had finished with his assault of punches Axcel caught him off guard and raised his knee in the same upper-cutting motion he had been practicing. As soon as he felt his knee make contact the clone began to fly into the air and turn into droplets of water which rained on Axcel.
“Come on, is that all you got?” Axcel said with a cocky tone, even though they were basically him. Two of them came at once from opposite direction, they both attempted to do a simple flying sidekick. Axcel ducked underneath the two of them causing them to clash and turn into droplets of water. Axcel’s damp hair fell low now due to all the water spraying on him and he glanced around for the last bunshin.
The final clone came from behind and attempted to punch Axcel while he was crouched down. Axcel quickly turned slightly and did a powerful knee strike from the ground as he stood up at the same time causing the bunshin to turn into water.
“All right…that was tiring…” Axcel said as he limped back to the tree he had been training near and hopped on to the strong branch to rest a little. Axcel yawns as he closes his eyes and places his arms behind his head. “I guess I’ll start with hand to hand techniques again after I rest a bit.”
