One day walking through the harsh cold of is winter home, Vash decided that he would need to begin training in order to better himself and show his worth to his village. As he contiued down the street he noticed other Geinin trining as well, seeing it as a chance to have a spring partener he walked up to the kids and asked them if they would help him train by giving him some freindly competition. With their approval, Vash held back a sly grin as each boy demonstrated some of their techniques. After evryone showed off a bit, it was finally time to pair up and fight. One on One was what evryone agrred on so as Vash and the first boy stood looking at eachother the other kids circled them and began to chant.
"I'll start" Vash said impatiently as he crouched down. Preforming a few handsigns, his shadow shot fourth towards the other boy. But moving to slowly the boy had noticed it and jumped high into the air, doing flips backwards untill he was to far out of range. Grunting under his breath, Vash stood and began to charge his opponent. Releasing his hidden Kunai from his sleeve, he sprang into the air swinging his weapon straight down towards the boys shoulder. Noticing the kid smirk than seeing his eyes turn red and a black tear form, he knew he had made a mistake but was unable to do anything about it. As the boy grabed Vash's arm and slung him down, he could feel the impact ringing through his already cold body.
With the wind knocked out of him, he leaped back up flipping backwards, coming to a stop five five meters from the now aparent Uchiha. Taking only a minuet to recongse that the match would have to be fought with mid to long distance tatics, than finishing with taijutsu. He used his body flicker techniques, shooting himself to the side of the Uchiha, he quickly preformed hand signs and launched his shadow towards the boy. In the Uchiha's blindspot, Vash almost knew for certain he had the kid now. But to his surprise the boy once more managed to jump out of range.
Frustrated, Vash was forced to re-think his stratagy. "Ok...I need to stretch my shadow a bit longer...ha, easier said than done" he thought as the Uchiha rushed him. Forced into close range combat, Vash was barley able to doge the boys attacks, occasionally getting catching blows that were to fast to miss. Once more he used his body flicker technique, this time shooting backwards 11 meters from the kid. After a quick display of handsigns, his shadow shoot fourth again. With evry meter gained Vash counted "1, 2, 3, 4, ......, 11". He was able to stretch his shadow out to eleven meters, but was unable to catch the Uchiha with the short distance gained. "Ok, that was better but no cigar" He thought to himself as he tryed to come up with another scinario.
Once more the Uchiha boy rushed him, and once more he was forced into close range combat. This time he was already feeling himself slowing as more ounches and kicks were conecting to his head and chest. quickly droping to the ground, Vash preformed a swooping kick to the Kids feet hoping it would force the boy to jump back. With a grin as the boy leaped backwards, Vash quickly jumped up and preformed hansigns and once more shoot his shadow out. This time putting at tad bit more chakra into it, he counted as it sprang fourth at a faster rate. "1,2,3, .........10" Stoping short just before the Uchiha landed

Kagemane no Jutsu, ‰e^Ž—‚Ìp (Shadow Imitation Technique) x2 (going for 20 meters)
Rank: "C" Rank
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: The signature move of the Nara family, this jutsu allows the user to control their own shadow and merge it with their opponent's shadow, combining them. This links the movements of the user with the target; the target is subsequently forced to make any movement the user makes. It is an extremely versatile technique, as the user can contract and change the shape of their shadow, potentially grabbing multiple targets at once. The degree to which the user's shadow can be stretched is limited by its total surface area.
Special: Seals are used but unknown.
Drawback: Must Be Learned Multiple times in order to truly achieve something grand.
Description: Using the shadows of other objects, the user can extend their shadow beyond its normal range. The amount of time for which an opponent can be held is limited by the user's chakra, since the user must constantly maintain the jutsu. The jutsu is also more difficult to maintain at greater ranges or for multiple opponents, since the user's shadow must be stretched constantly. At closer ranges, it requires considerably less effort on the user's part. Additionally, the target can force their way free with enough effort, though the amount of effort required to do so is considerable. There are two tables or understandings for this technique that consists of the Difficulty class of the User as well as the Opponent, and as to how far the user is capable of using this technique. When first learned the user is only capable of using this technique at a distance of ten meters. Each time this technique is learned the distance increases by another Ten Meters. The user is capable of making their shadow split and by doing so takes up the distance of the total form of the original technique. This means that if a user has this technique to where they can use thirty meters and wishes to make this technique split to three shadows the maximum distance is ten meters per shadow.
Difficulty on Escaping: If the user is the same Difficulty Class as that of the opponent, it takes five rounds for the user to be capable of escaping if they try to escape the whole time. For every rank higher the user is from the opponent the technique lasts for one more round. For every rank the user is below the opponent the number of rounds decrease by one. Now for every two people you trap the technique decreases by holding by one round. This means that if you are a D-Difficulty Class, fighting against two D-Difficulty classes and achieved to where you have caught both of them, you can only hold them for four rounds.
Limit: Nara Clan Technique
