Day had turned to night as Ichiro arrived at the spot in which he was suppose to patrol. Miles of trees could only bee seen as Ichiro stood atop of a large tree. The fire country wasn't more than 10 feet away from him and he knew that stepping that boundary would be trouble for both him and his village. Looking around the area, nothing could be spotted that would bring attention to Ichiro. To his knowledge, there were three main paths that could be used to get into the village. The best way to patrol was to move from point to point and watch over those areas for a few hours.
As the darkness covered the area, Ichiro found it hard to find the branches through the trees as he made his way to the first path. This path was a well known path that many travelers tended to use in order to get into the Rain country. In order to get any body who was of a threat to the village, Ichiro would have to be on his toes and watch over them with caution. He quickly made his way, jumping from tree to tree, making his way to anyone who seemed suspicious. As the night grew longer and longer, so did the tiresome nature of Ichiro. It had been a while since the puppeteer had gotten some sleep but none the less, he needed to complete the mission at stake.
After a few minutes of travel, Ichiro finally made his way to the first major path. From here, he could watch the traffic of those who made their way into the country without proper notification. As Ichiro sat down on a branch up in a tree, he could feel his eyes close and close. each time, his head would nod off, making it difficult to watch the trail of anyone who may come. Since it was the night, it was the perfect time for anyone to attack but at the same, it was slow for the ninja who watched it. Minutes and minutes passed with no activity as Ichiro slowly grew into a resting sleep but with his senses heightened, he would listen for any travelers.
A sudden noise awoke Ichiro as he heard something going through the buses. He quickly woke and positioned himself in a fighting stance. He looked down and began to try and find his intruder. As the grass and leaves brushed up against something, a distinct sound could be heard from behind him. Ichiro turned quickly and looked down towards the ground. There, a small deer herd had made there way into the land of rain from the neighboring fire country. These deer made there way through the woods and continued on their way.
Ichiro took this as a sign to move on. He quickly borught himself together and made his way to the next major path that was located no more than 10 miles away from his current position. The travel would be long but it would wake the puppeteer up from his sleepy conditions and allow him to be more focused as a shinobi.
