Finding the Entrance [Mission]

Kieri walked through the streets towards the large gates of the leaf village, she was about to head out on a mission with a partner. The two of them were suposed to go to the land of waves and meet some lady. "Well I supose it's better than staying here and planting trees." She was nwalking up to the gates now, before she got there she began checking her ninja gear. When she looked up she was at the gates.

[Blazing Phoenix]

The sun shown high overhead, it was nearly noon. Resu was resting under a tree just beyond the gates of the leaf village. He felt like he should rest, he was about to go on a mission. At first the Hokage had said that he couldn't go on the mission, then he had recieved word that he was to have a partner on the mission. He heard someone walking near by. He opened an eye and looked, it was a girl who looked about his age. "Are you Kieri Shota?" he asked the girl.

"Yeah I am Kieri, are you my partner?" looking at the guy lying on the ground. Expecting the worst, she examined him, he looked about her age, he didn't look like much of a ninja but she had learned better than to judge a book by it's cover.

OOC: Why are we just sitting here?

[Blazing Phoenix]

"Why yes, I am your partner." He said sitting up "My name is Resu Kyoufu, but you can call me Resu if you want" He scratched the back of his head looking at the horizon. "So do you want to get going we have a long way to go until we get to the land of waves?"

OOC: There now we can get going.

"Well I supose we should" Kieri began walking down the path and looked back to see if this Resu guy was actually going to follow her. She wondered what kind of jutsu he could do and what he was like.

[Blazing Phoenix]

Resu walked up along side of Kieri, he knew that he would like to be back in realitive timelyness. He turned after a while to Kieri and said"So do you want to jump through the trees, or run or just walk"

"Well I guess that we could do whatever you want." Kieri honestly wanted to stay out of the village as long as possible, but she didn't want to be a hinderence on the mission. "To be honest I would like to walk but if you want to run through the trees then I'll keep up."

[Blazing Phoenix]

"Well personally I would like to run, I want to get this over with." This wasn't entirely true, he didn't want to come back quickly he just wanted to get away from the village. "Try and keep up." He said playfully and broke into a headdown sprint.

"Oh come on!" Kieri said and ran after him. It took a while to catch up to him, but when she did she looked over to see his face, she wondered if he was enjoying their little race. She knew she always had a good time running.

[Blazing Phoenix]

Resu, threw his head back and laughed "Yor pretty fast!" He began to slow down to a more relaxed run. He turned to Kieri and asked "Do you even now how far away the land of waves is?"

Kieri noticed that Resu had slowed down so she dropped back to stay inline with him. "Hmm... The land of waves, I think that if we would have left in the morning we could have made it there by dusk walking so if we run we should get there by early tommorow unless we run all night. But I really don't think we need to do that."

[Blazing Phoenix]

"Run all night, not a chance, so we could rest once the sun goes down?" Resu wasn't sure if she would like to stop sooner or later than that.

OOC: If it's ok with you I would like to skip the running and maybe skip to the rest part.

OOC: Sure thing

"When the sun goes down sounds good." The two of them ran until the sun was gone from the sky, then Kieri lweaned against a tree and slid down to the ground. "O...K...I think we should stop now." She began gathering up sticks and then preformed some handseals adn lit the twigs. "We covered sonme pretty good distance today don't you think?"

[Blazing Phoenix]

"Yeah I think so. You look preety tired maybe you should take a little nap." Resu sat down at the roots of a pretty big tree.

[Okay- I request TWO things...

First things first.. you NEED to make your post alot longer- they're pretty short... And you'll end up being chewed out for this, be descriptive in your post.. do they make gestures or anything?

"You don't exactly look full of energy yourself though." She didn't like the fact that Resu was commenting on her being tired, but still she was tired. She slid down farther and closed her eyes, trying to get a bit of rest.

[Blazing Phoenix]

Looking over to see that Kieri was asleep, Resu pulled his scroll from his belt and summoned Saska Raion (his puppet). He went through his regular puppet manouvers, moving Saska Raion to defend with different parts of his body, then he forced each weapon to activate in turn. With one of the blades he cut down a branch of a tree. Then he went through his selective jutsus on the log. Soon the log was in pieces. Then he sat down by the fire, he wiped the hair from his eyes and removed his shirt and used it as a rag to wipe the blades of his puppet.

Noises woke Kieri from her nap. She rolled over and saw Resu doing something with what looked like a doll. Suddenly blades came out of the dolls arms. "Woah I guess that means, he is some kind of a puppeteer." she whispered. After a little while Resu stopped practicing, and Kieri turned back over and went back to sleep.

[Blazing Phoenix]

The next morning, the sun was just peeking through the trees and Resu jumped down from the tree were he had been standing. He thought he could see the ocean which meant that they were getting close.

Kieri sat back against the tree trunk and looked up into the trees. She had had a nice sleep the night before. She wondered if Resu had or if he had practiced all night. When he jumped down from the tree she stood up and said "Ready to go?"
