Looking at his partner, Nenshou grinned to himself, and remembered about when back in the day when he was in the military all the things he did with Kisaru and all the things he went through with him. He nodded at the friend, and Kisaru in return sighed. He wasn't happy to say the least, but he was almost never truly happy, so this wasn't that big of a problem to Nenshou. Kisaru looked around him and at the training grounds, and back at Nenshou, before saying, "You sure you want to do it this way? I mean, this resilience is supposed to come to you over time, it's not made to be acquired artificially! I don't approve of this at all..." Nenshou smirked, shook his head some, and said, "You usually never do. Now please, can we get on with this, I would like to finish this up within the hour so I can continue with my training."
Kisaru shook his head at Nenshou, and turned away from Nenshou for a few seconds, arms crossed. Then, within twenty seconds, he just sighed to himself, turned around to face Nenshou, and with a look of defeat in his eyes, said, "All right. Let's do this then..." Kisaru got in a ready stance, as did Nenshou, and they both started into each other's eyes, focusing only on each other, clearing everything else from their minds. They stood there for about a minute, and then, Kisaru began the procedure.
He quickly did a few hand seals, and after yelling something about starting small at first, he quickly extended both of his arms, and after a second or so, there appeared two fireballs in his hands, each one about a foot in diameter, in his hands, and without hesitation, he threw them one at a time at Nenshou. They flew at Nenshou with quick speed, and within a few seconds, they impacted his body, one to the right of his chest, and the other to his stomach. The flames licked at his body, and they seemed at first to have done some damage to his body, but as soon as they both dissipated, there was no sign of them having been there at all.
Nenshou nodded in satisfaction, but he knew that the practice was far from over. Kisaru nodded back, and did more hand signs, and like previously, he stood there with his hands extended from his body, and after a few seconds, a fireball, now two feet in size, appeared at his hands, and swung them at Nenshou. Then, as soon as he threw those fireballs, there appeared two more fireballs, which he threw along with the others. He did this for three more times, and by then, there were ten fireballs flying through the air, aiming for Nenshou. All were about two feet in diameter, all looking like they can damage someone if they all hit, and Nenshou stood there, a triumphant look on his face, preparing to meet up with the ten fireballs.
And finally, the fireballs neared the distance from Kisaru to Nenshou, and each one impacted Nenshou one at a time. The first, like the last two, hit him, but didn't do much damage. But as more and more hit him, he took a few steps back from the force of the impacts. Being larger, the fireballs didn't dissipate, so soon, all ten fireballs impacted Nenshou, the flames stayed there for a few more seconds. Then, one after another, where each fireball hit, the flames disappeared, and the damage was seen from the fireballs. Where each one hit, the clothes of Nenshou were charred or burnt, and the skin was slightly redder than usual, but nothing serious was visible. The damage was done, but he wanted to see what more advanced fire techniques would do. With a nod from both of them, they both knew that it was far from over...
