[Mission begin]
Walking back into the streets, Kuro looked about wondering what he should first. Deciding it would be best to simply walk around looking for trouble, Kuro did just that. Walking down the first main street, Kuro found nothing interesting. Turning down a side street, Kuro slowly waltzed up the hill, listening for anything interesting but heard nothing. For the first hour of his patrol this is how things were, boring, drab, and most of all not fulfilling in any way.
Beginning to think to himself “This mission is a joke…”, Kuro took a side step down a dark ally. Walking at his usual leisurely pace, Kuro ignored the rats and small amount of discarded trash as he moved forward. Disappointed that even this dark corner of the city offered nothing to him, Kuro was about to turn around when he heard a scream come from further down the alley. Quickly pulling his naginata into his hands, he rushed forward to find himself what he imagined to be a damsel in distress.
Rounding the final corner he found the victim. It was a small boy, most likely no older than nine whom was what some would refer to as “round”. The boy as it seemed was cornered by a dog, grayish muddy hair sprouting all over it in ragged fashion. The dog, though no really attacking was simply starting at the boy with a look of sheep hunger in its eyes. Rushing up to the possibly rabid animal, Kuro roared with fury (RAAAAWWWRRRR) at the mutt who abruptly whimpered and took off down the alley and into the street. Now looking to help the boy up, Kuro asked him what had happened. The boy simply stated that the dog had been trying to “kill him” for no real reason, before reaching into his pocket and drawing out a stick candy from his pocket.
Sighing at what he realized was just the case of a dog begging for food, Kuro placed his right palm on his face as he walked off, rounding the corner into the main street, leaving the fat boy to his candy. Traveling further down the street, Kuro noticed a small group of people gathering around an area by the side of the street. The small crowd was cheering and roaring with anguish at whatever they were viewing. Jogging up with his naginata resting on his shoulder, he came to see the commotion. Two men of middle age were attacking each other, now wrestling around on the muddy stones. Shoving the crowd aside, Kuro abruptly grabbed the two men, pulling them apart, shouting “WHATS THE PROBLEM HERE GUYS?” Finally realizing what was happening, the two men settled down. The one to the left simply looked at Kuro and openly apologized, saying it was nothing really besides a misunderstanding. The man on the right on the other hand began to squirm about screaming “DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM? ILL HAVE YOUR HEAD FOR THIS KID! AND HIS TOO! RUNNING INTO ME LIKE HE DID, ILL HAVE YOU DISIPLINED, JUST WAAAAIT!”
Turning to the calm man, Kuro let his grip go. “Care to explain his ramblings?” The man looked at the other, then back to Kuro, then back to the man before saying: “Well I was walking down the street and bumped into him, I said I was sorry, but he started babbling nonsense about being some famous merchants son, when I tried to walk away he jumped on me!” The other man turned to him and abruptly began to shout again “YOU GOT WHAT YOU DESERVED WORM! AND SOON YOU WILL BOTH BE SHO- -“ the man never got any further, as Kuro had knocked him about on the head with the flat of his weapon, knocking the man out.
Gently he set the man down, propping him up on the wall in a sitting position. “You can go” he said the other man. Waiting for a while, the man finally awoke with a start. Turning to see Kuro he suddenly stood up and began running down the road, screaming more nonsense, now claiming that his son was the Amekage and that he would surely have Kuro hung for his bad actions. Shaking his head, Kuro resumed his patrol.
The rest of the patrol went without many problems besides one man who was running through the crowds of people who were heading home before nightfall. Running at break-neck speed, the man knocked over several woman and children as well as an old man. Kuro, sensing with his better judgment that the man might be up to no good, simple dove into the crowd, grabbing the man by his collar. The sudden loss of momentum caught the man’s legs by surprise, cause the man to do a almost half reversed back flip before he landed hard on his back. Groaning with pain the man stood up and turned around “just who thinks they are so special, grabbing me by my…” he stopped as he saw Kuro, recognizing his as the man who had stopped the earlier fight. “I’m sorry about the running sir, I just need to get home before my wife and clean or she’s going to skin me alive!” Nodding in approval, Kuro looked at the man and said: “slow down a bit next time, or I’ll make sure your wife beats you home… BY DAYS.” Cowering, the man stalked off into the crowd.
The rest of the night went without problems, something Kuro was glad for, considering how late it was and how tired he was. Finally returning to the tower late at night he walked into the building…
