Examination Number Two

"Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will."

The second exam shall be a test your physical prowess and your ability to operate efficiently on the field of battle. When faced with a simulated mission environment, you will be forced to show all whether you possess the cunning and strength of body to succeed.

Guidelines:

• Examinees shall be separated into specified threads, each containing three teams of two. We shall attempt to keep teams village oriented, but nothing is promised.
  
• A brief travel thread will be used to move all participants to respective islands.
  
• Each thread is situated in identical environments, all with the same task.
  
• The duration of this phase of the exam varies; no set time to end can be given. Regardless, a two-day IIC is set and will be enforced.
  
• All genin must report to their specified threads within 24 hours after the thread has been posted.
  
• A three day recess will be administered after all threads have met a conclusion, this time can be spent around the capital or training outside in the country.
  
• Teams that have failed will be escorted from the capital, but like the first exam one may stay as a spectator if they so choose.

IC Context:

To each successful genin who had passed the written exam, a note would be passed along. Sent with a brief congratulatory expression, the small slips would be especially delivered by masked aids of the examiners. Written in fine calligraphy, words of warning would follow. All genin were to report back to the capital immediately for the commencement of round two. The note would detail concise instructions to a small port in Hi, where a ferry will be found. Further briefing will be held there.
