Setting out on the road once again, Garr would walk silently beside his fox companion. The two would travel for a few hours in silence. However, as they got near the border that separated Sound from Fire, Gingin would begin to growl. It was a very fierce growl, as if they were some sort of trouble. Yeah, he recognized the growl as the type she'd use when she were about to attack an enemy. But they were alone, weren't they?
He turned around to Gingin and asked, "What's wrong girl? You sense someone? Why are you so tense?"
No answer followed she just continued to stand there, fangs bared, growling at what could only be some unfore seen outcome for himself. Concentrating, Garr crouched down, level with his fox as he began looking about for any disturbances in the forest. Then it happened, an attack came, while his back was turned from his fox. It came from the only direction he wouldn't have expected it to come from... her.
His life long faithful companion Gingin had snapped, supposedly and attacked him as if they were enemies. She went directly after his neck, viting through his jugular artery and most of his windpipe. Gasping for air through his pain, he collasped on the floor and watched as she scurried away as if she were just some animal and not the young fox that had been with him since he was small. He'd saved her from a storm one day, and this was how she chose to repay him?
Simply put, he was devestated. She was the only companion he could say he had, and it was as if their history had never happened. "But why? I ... thought we were... friends...?" The words came out through sharps gasp as he quickly lost his breath. He flew into a panic and activated his chaos to stave off the pain. He stood weakly and tried to walk about, but the blood loss took it's toll within seconds. He was down on one knee, quickly losing conscionsness. Just why... would she... betray him? A minute later, his chaos would shut off and he'd feel such horrid pain and pass out. With minutes, he'd die from blood loss. The denizens of the wild would devour his corpse, leaving nothing just short scraps of clothes and a few disfigured bones.
SCRAP!!!
