Name:The Ritual of Scales
Materials: Four large Lizards ((Horned Lizard, Komodo Dragon, Gila Monster, Chameleon) locked within cages set in a pentagram fashion around an alter with the four lower points being where the cages go. The cages are slightly elevated while the altar is set lower then them. Specialized troughs are in place beneath the cages that drain into tubing which extends all the way to the alter. ((Cost 2,000 Ryo per cage, 1,000 Ryo per large reptile)). Medical tubing for transfusions((500 Ryo)). Ten Councilors of the Tokagekuran, 5 Scrolls (1,000 Ryo each), 1 High Ranking Medic of the clan. (all can NPC’ed by Mods), 5 sacred daggers shaped like a lizard's tongue.

Preparation: The four beasts are placed within the cages while the young clan member is led in and strapped down to the alter. Tubes are inserted into the chosen member's body that leads into the arties of the body. The medic uses their skill to slow the child’s blood flow so that it does not leak from the tubes. Five of the high ranking clan members ((including the leader)) carry the sacred
daggers and move towards the large beast and pacify them except the leader who moves to the top of the Pentagram, knife in hand above the trough. The Five scrolls are laid out on the ground before the other five Councilors. The medic stands aside and does nothing until the end.
Description: All ten clan members began to chant the ancient words and start forming hand signs as Chakra begins to pour
from their bodies. The four near the reptiles send their charka into the beasts while the five near the child direct their charka at him/her. As the ritual continues the four near the cages use the daggers and slash open the reptiles throats and the leader cuts his own hand dripping blood into the top of the trough. The beast’s blood begins to pool into the troughs and slowly begin to travel down the tubing. The blood is glowing with charka from the
previous part of the ritual and slowly flows until it enters the child’s body. The five other members of the clan move forward and place a hand on each of the four limbs and the head. They continue to chant as the blood enters the child’s body. The charka enters the child’s body and swirls through their veins. It bonds the reptilian blood with the child’s own. The ritual continues until the blood no longer flows rapidly. Once the ritual is finished the charka embraces the child and wraps them into a protective cocoon. There it protects and empowers the body as it begins to transform and adapt to the blood entered into its system. The clan members continue to chant from the scrolls until finally the charka dissipates and the 'reborn' clan member arises. Their body has become almost devoid of body fat leaving them standing lean and muscular. Their eyes have
become tinted yellow and their skin as become pale due to their new cold-blooded nature. Upon close inspection it is revealed that
it is no longer skin but in fact numerous tiny flesh colored scales. Once finished the medic checks the child to ensure they are stable before declaring them healthy and letting them go.
Effects: Changes shinobi into a man/reptile combination. Their skin is scaled but still as vulnerable as flesh at this point; their senses remain on par with a normal person's. Allows the clan member to draw upon their reptilian blood for their unique jutsu. ((NO immediate affects other than appearance and loss of bodyfat))
Drawback: Member is weakened by the process. Takes two jutsu slots. Member MUST start with Water and Fire Release. Lizard Friends, If buying into clan cost 20,000 Ryo for materials plus an
additional 20,000 for clan members and medic to perform.
Limit: Born with as a member of the clan. If not costs considerable Ryo and requires new member to know Fire and Water Release and lose memory of Ice Release if they have it. Also must be Lizard Friend.

Akane and Mukuro walked from the retaraunt and town in silence it was time to get the ritual done. She took him around the Island and along a secret path and she spoke of already discussing him with the Elders. It seems they were preapred to evaluate him for joining the clan and gaining their power. As they walked on the vegetation thickened so there was no visible path, he simply had to follow Akane who had the directions memorized. After miles of walking through such vegetation without leaving a trail a small town came into view.
Following close behind the woman he stepped into the elder's building behind her, bowing respectfully to them. As he stood preparing for their words he realized his face was still bloodied from Akane's punch. Mentally wincing he simply listened as they began to speak, "So, you are the one Akane spoke to us of, Mukuro right? We have prepared a test for you, follow." Without speaking the Uchiha followed the men of scaled flesh from the back of the building and to what seemed to be a ring set upon the ground, an arena.
"A trial of combat young Mukuro with no Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, you shall be up against Masurao. The goal is to knock your foe from the ring." Spoke the elders. Stepping into the arena the Uchiha blinked his Sharingan into life, for though Ninjutsu had been forbidden nothing had been said of Doujutsu. On the opposite end of the arena entered one of the Tokagekuran, scaled flesh prepared to take the Uchiha's blows. With a signal from the Elder's the battle began, and the raven tressed male gazed upon his foe with swirling tomoe hidden behind topaz lenses. Launching himself at the Tokagekuran Warrior the Uchiha moved in for a quick finisher.
Alas luck was not on his side for the lizardman managed to stop the attack in the blink of an eye. The Uchiha would have to work harder to defeat this foe so he leapt back to evade an oncoming blow and give him distance to see and think. His best bet for getting the the fighter down was to blind him and then strike. Dust was upon the ring floor, something he could use to his advantage yet every movement he made would have to be coreographed perfectly. Utalizing his taunts Mukuro began to goad Masurao into a charge, and on came the moment of truth a mere moment off and he would be defeated and slain.
The taunt worked and the warrior charged across the twenty meters separating them. With the aid of his Sharingan's prediction he managed to duck the charge at the right moment and begin a low kick to trip up the fighter. As predicted the Tokagekuran leapt over the leg and Uchiha while the topaz lensed male dragged his hand over the dust, collecting some in his hand. Raising on the spin as the opposing gladiator turned for another attack the Lizard Friend flung the dust in his hand into the eye of his foe. the blinding was successful and distracting enough to provide the opening counted upon.
Continuing on the backspin his original manuver had providedhe struck the enemy with his Spanning Swipes. The successful connection of the blow sent the fighting lizard man flying fifteen meters, far enough to expell him from the ring. Victorious Mukuro remained in the arena until the Elders directed him to a hut where he could obtain the tattoo of the Lizard friend where he went with Akane. As he gained the mark of the Lizard friend the Elders set up their hall for the Ritual for it seemed Akane had told them of his obtaining the money. The art was placed upon his flesh and shortly after a medic treated the tattoo so the ritual could be performed immediately.
Meanwhile...
As the tattoo was being placed upon his arm the Elder's gathered member and items. Five cages each housing a separate lizard were placed in a pentagram fashion around an alter with four lowered points. The five sacred daggers shaped as the tongues of lizards were brought out and sharpened for use. It took some time but the medic arrived the with tubing and other supplies. Five scrolls were also laid upon the ground in the proper order, preparing for the new member's creation. And as they finished he stepped through the threshhold, the last piece to the puzzle.
