Name: City of Angels? Part 2
Rank: S
Plot:
Recap: Intel reports have suggested to your village, that recently in the Moon country there have been strings of disturbances in a particular town. The towns name is Bozmei. It is a very lucrative port city, that has at least a few trade routes with every country on the map. They are a very important resource to all ninja villages especially, because they are the only village who has developed a process for extracting the extremely rare and valuable mineral called Mectoslam from a very deep vein in the ocean. It is a very valuable substance for weapon forging, being extremely durable, and having an extremely low conductivity. Whatever your information source may be (whether it is your village for ninja, or whatever for non-ninja/missing nin), it doesn’t know more then something bad has happened. Something that has shut down very important trade routes. Something preventing many villages much needed supplies, and in the case of the mectoslam, very coveted supplies. Your mission is as a village ninja is to head to the land of Moon, and meet with a General Kyokotsu to find out more about the situation. If you are missing/non-ninja, and you are intrigued by this then you can head to the land of Moon and do whatever, but it is very unlikely you will be able to meet the general due to your lack of status (you’ll be going into the next mission slightly more blindly then the village ninja).
Current: After meeting with General Kyokotsu, the people involved in this mission must undertake a set of arduous tasks. He has explained to you that over the past few days, people within the city have become more violent. People began attacking others for no apparent reason just on a whim. It soon became to much for his officers to handle, and grabbing as many survivors as he could, retreated to the cities outskirts, closing and barring all gates. Because of the gates and its high walls, none of the violent people have gotten out of the city. They do have an opening via the port, but for some reason they seem to be less then willing to go near the huge amount of water that is the ocean, as reported by our scout boats. Each group will have a different task, but all must be wary of the dangers of these violent people.
Mission 1:
Kyokostu has explained that there are still people left inside the city. He knows of one group that is stuck on a hospital roof near the center of the city. They have been in contact via a radio, and have explained that they have enough supplies to last them for a time, but need evac. Because of the violent people within the city, they are unable to make it out themselves. Along with that, the survivors who have contacted him via the radio had also expressed that there could be other survivors throughout the area, who aren’t as lucky to have a radio. It is unclear how many “normal” people are left alive in the city, but you are tasked with evacuating as many as possible.
The team charged with this task will have to make their way to the hospital where the last transmissions of the radio carrying survivors was made. Their radio has been silent for the past 24 hours, but it is assumed that it was either just damaged/ran out of power or is just being interfered with like most of the other radio transmissions. You will investigate there fate, and if possible bring them out of the city alive, along with any other survivors. The general has also warned that survivors will most likely be found in difficult to get to places because otherwise, they would probably have been killed or escaped by now. Evacuate as many as you can. The more you evacuate, the better your reward. (Amount of members based on amount of people in the event)
Mission 2: Do to all the increased violence within the city, General Kyokotsu has come to the conclusion that there has to be some third party at work, pulling the strings to make this happen. Someone or something had to be the cause of all the senseless slaughter. As such, he is tasking a team to enter the city and search for clues to the cause of this catastrophe. According to reports, the first reported sighting of these incidents occurred near city hall. You are to go there (see map), and investigate. Find clues as to the cause, and if possible try to end it. (Amount of members based on amount of people in the event).
Mission 3: There has been an increased amount of interference with the radio signals in the area of moon country. The general has had a difficult time figuring out the source, but has come to the conclusion that it must have to do with something going on at the radio tower within the city. It is in a more rural area, so he assumes that is will be somewhat easy to access. He has deemed it necessary to have a team go there and investigate, trying to establish the cause of the problem. They must escort a technician there to fix anything wrong with the tower. Once the tower is fixed, then all the other teams’ radios will be able to work. Because of its distance from the port, the ninja involved in this mission will be forced to glide in over the wall on a glider that will be provided, land in the various fields near the radio station and tower, and then proceed with there mission. Afterwards they will need to find their own way back to camp, whether it is through the city, or some other method they plan. The gliders won’t work, because you won’t have the flight capability to get over the wall.
Location: Moon Country, the city of Bozmei (200 kilometer city), which is completely surrounded by walls on all three inland sides, and has the ocean port on the northern most area. It is one of the biggest trade ports in the area, and as such has been subjected to many attacks in the past. Because of these bandit attacks, they have expanded the walls to cover some of the farm land (lower west corner). The main part is large buildings *think New York*, that contain many rooms. The streets and building have been designed in a very uniform fashion. As such the streets and buildings form many square shapes.
Rules:
IIC Length: 2 days
Prize(s): Will vary depending on your mission. Not going to say which mission will gain it, but one group will have an opportunity for a set of the Black Hole Seal scrolls, and one group shall have an opportunity at other generic items that are at my discretion. Each group will gain 2000 Ryo per person rescued safely even if it isn’t the main focus of their mission. Along with other valuables that come their way during the events that unfold. For partaking in any of these missions, and facing danger, each person will gain 15000 Ryo upon completion, not including what they get from rescues and other items. Each team will be given 1 comm device for the leader to be in charge of. The comm. device doesn’t work right now, other then producing static (see mission 3).

Rules:
- General Site Rules apply
- If either a battle mod and a staff member, two battle mods, or two staff members declare you dead….then get to recreating.
- OOC is to be kept out of the event threads, unless you are accompanying it with your rp post. Any OOC questions or concerns may be directed to me via pm and I will address them in the appropriate manner. The reason for this is that I would like to keep the overall threads somewhat clean.
- Missing IIC once results in turn skipping and taking hit from any attack sent your way. If you do it a second time, even if there has been no attack on you, you will die in some creative way that I will think up. There may be certain exceptions to this rule, but to be given a longer time to post you will need to fill out the template from the initial event for a request for extended time. I will then post a reservation for you which I will delete when your extension has expired. This is very likely not to happen unless the circumstances are dire though. Extensions will be given purely at my discretion. Do not count on receiving one. The longest extension will be one day.
- Maximum of 3-4 Ninja per village, and I will say when there are enough missing/non-ninja based on demand.
