Okami and Kaeru - aptly named due to their professions within the AnBu corps - carried their quarry to a relatively hidden location within the village proper, sequestered beneath an innocuous tavern whose only purpose was to provide secrecy for the Black Ops. Attacking such an estbalishment was tantamount to suicide.

When the man came to, he would find himself strapped securely to a wooden chair, wholly incapable of movement. The room he inhabited was but a pit of perpetual darkness, it's blaring silence broken by an ominous drip that seemed to sound from all around. It was relatively small, seven by seven meters in design, composed primarily of stone. If the woman had chosen to follow, she would view the scene from a seperate location, peering through a glass that allowed one to look in, but rendered the opposite impossible.

Kaeru nodded briefly to Okami, signaling the onset of the interrogation. "Gensou no Ud." A voice rasped - chakra washed over the captive, coloring his perspective with a hue of forced truth.

"What is your name? Where were you born? What were you doing in Mizu no Kuni?"

Description: A technique that is meant to find out vital information from people without using physical torture, mostly on prisoners and captives. It cannot be used during battle. The victim is put into a hypnotized half-sleep like state where he/she is balancing between being conscious and unconscious. While hypnotized, a person’s inhibition is greatly lowered, and they are much more likely to comply with the hypnotist’s demands. Some victims are able to resist the technique. It can take just a few minutes or several hours but sooner or later they will break, and tell their enemies anything they need to know. Only the user can communicate with the victim. The victim cannot see or hear any other enemies or allies. Only the anti-genjutsu technique Kai (Cancel) can awaken a victim of this technique. Once brought back, a victim does not remember anything what happened while he/she was under the influence of the genjutsu.

Being unconscious this whole time, it almost seemed as though Kenji had been in a bad dream if he had been awake. Finally coming to, he was still a bit groggy and his vision was blurred from the frozen ice from his neck. The last thing he remembered was something icy cold being stuck in his neck, after that is just a blur. Waking up to a new place rather then what he was seeing on his journey, he didn't know whether to be afraid or happy since he couldn't get a good glimpse at this place.

His hearing was also blurry, and he only heard a fraction of what they said, but still heard the last part of every sentence they said. "Wh--... name? ...born? What we--... Mizu no Kuni?" was all that he heard from them. "Uchiha Kenji... Moon... Travel..." were the things that he told them still trying to recover from what happened. He was still dizzy, vision blurred, hearing somewhat shot from being unconscious for so long.

The two AnBu shared a glance... Uchiha?

Perhaps he had happened upon Mizu no Kuni on a pilgrimage to the temple... or perhaps he was spy sent by an unknown enemy to infiltrate their ranks. So many possibilities...

"What is your inclination towards Kirigakure? Do you wish harm upon any of her inhabitants?"

As he started to come to, Kenji's hearing slowly became better along with his vision, but he was still a bit groggy. Taking a better look at his environment, he saw glimpses of it between blinking his eyes. His hearing better, he got more of what they were saying, but only in fragments. "What is... ...ards Kirigakure? Do you... ...harm up--... ...of her inhabitants?" was what he got from it.

"I don't really have one, I'm a nomad. I don't wish to harm anyone," he said as he finally got back the ability to speak clearly. What would happen to him, he didn't know what these two people were capable of since he only witnessed/experienced a tiny bit of what they could do.

"Very well." Okami announced, sharing another silent glance with Kaeru.

"We will allow you out into the village - keep in mind that we are watching you. If you display even a hint of aggression towards any of Kiri's inhabitants, you will die."

Kaeru moved behind the bound man, as if seeking to untie his bindings...

Instead a chop to the neck sent the captive into the blissful ignorance of unconciousness. When he awoke, he'd find himself sitting astride a bench seemingly in the middle of the village amongst civilian's and shinobi alike.

As he answered, Kenji heard that he was safe to go, but before he was able to fully regain consciousness, he was knocked out again, for how long he did not know. Upon awaking, he found himself on the ground on the street, but where was he exactly? Not knowing, he struggled to get up while everyone else went on with their usual business in this village. The world seemed to be passing him by as he struggled to get up, but finally was able to at last and brushed himself off.
