(Currently in a rp thread. This will count as my training thread from now on. Until I actually start training for the chidori, this isn’t considered illegal in NFRP terms. Also, these events take place after I get chidori, so try and keep up.)[ -o / 10- ]Shadow Imitation C rank [ 4/5]
Meters Known / 20 – Meters Learning / 25Kagemane no Jutsu, 影真似の術 (Shadow Imitation Technique)
Rank: "C", "B", "A" Rank
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: The signature move of the Nara family, this jutsu allows the user to control their own shadow and merge it with their opponent's shadow, combining them. This links the movements of the user with the target; the target is subsequently forced to make any movement the user makes. It is an extremely versatile technique, as the user can contract and change the shape of their shadow, potentially grabbing multiple targets at once. The degree to which the user's shadow can be stretched is limited by its total surface area.
Special: "Hanseals"
Drawback: Must Be Learned Multiple times in order to truly achieve something grand. Must hold Rat hand seal until the technique connects with the targets shadow.
Description: Using the shadows of other objects, the user can extend their shadow beyond its normal range. The amount of time for which an opponent can be held is limited by the user's chakra, since the user must constantly maintain the jutsu. The jutsu is also more difficult to maintain at greater ranges or for multiple opponents, since the user's shadow must be stretched constantly. At closer ranges, it requires considerably less effort on the user's part. Additionally, the target can force their way free with enough effort, though the amount of effort required to do so is considerable. There are two tables or understandings for this technique that consists of the Difficulty class of the User as well as the Opponent, and as to how far the user is capable of using this technique. When first learned the user is only capable of using this technique at a distance of Ten meters. Each higher Rank archived, the user is capable of extending the shadow another five meters. The user must first however, learn each rank a certain amount of times before then next rank is obtainable. The C rank version must be learned five times total. At which point the ditance is upgraded to "B" Rank training and now extends ten meters each time trained. This version must be learned 3 times total. The "A" Rank version, extends the range to Seventy meters, and every additional "A" Rank training extends it another ten meters. This technique caps out at 100 meters. The user is capable of making their shadow split and by doing so takes up the distance of the total form of the original technique. This means that if a user has this technique to where they can use thirty meters and wishes to make this technique split to three shadows the maximum distance is ten meters per shadow.
Difficulty on Escaping: Escaping the Kagemane is a tricky art for some, easier for others. Depending on your Stamina and Difficulty class depends on how well the opponent can escape the Kagemane. The Kagemane is held for a Certain time frame depending on Rank of the technique learned. "C" Rank can be held for 18 seconds before it breaks no matter what. "B" Rank 36 seconds, "A" Rank 54 Seconds. For every difficulty class the user is above the opponent, add another five seconds. If the opponent for every difficulty class above th user, subtract five seconds. If the Opponent captured is a Taimaster, subtract 15 seconds additionally. If the opponent is a Tai specialist, subtract 5 additional seconds. If the opponent is a Taijutsu No specialist, leave it as is. After doing the math, the amount of turns held will be apparent.
Limit: Nara Clan Technique
The race was on but the goal was unclear. Yoyo and Jouen had managed to get themselves into the Angels territory. So far, they had taken down one of the Mongoose’s hangouts but what they were planning to do about the angels was something different. The village they had gotten themselves into was different. Numbers of different people gave them disgusting looks, Yoyo saw it as jealousy though. His mist head band hung loosely on his neck while two others hung out his back pockets. It was mid day, and Yoyo wasn’t one to pass up many ramen bars. So as they began to pass the ramen shop he’d stop and motion to Jouen that he wanted to eat but by the looks of his company they didn’t want the same for him. “So…what can I get for ye?” an old man at the counter said as they entered. He had one eye visible; the other one was covered by an eyepatch. He was chubby and kept a grin on his face, but his intentions would remain unknown to those who didn’t know him.
Yoyo transpired. His feet rested up on a table as Jouen ordered ramen for the both of them. He couldn’t’ help but get the feeling that they were being watched. “Yeah, that’s them..” whispered one of the men from behind. With his senses always on activate, Yoyo easily picked up the message and immediately paranoia sat in. “Jouen…I have a feeling we’ll be confronted here…” Yoyo stressed, tipping his chair to the tip of its legs so he could easily get down from the high chair. Jouen, courageously, stepped up faster than Yoyo and after doing so, turned towards the direction of the whispers. “If there’s anyone here that has a problem with me and my friend here, you might as well tell us now before we blow this place the f**k up!” Jouen yelled, clenching his fists, scanning the area for possible suspects. A few tables turned and chairs flew as the Angels gathered around them. Seemingly the pack leader of the ones in the bar, a man with blue hair and red eyes, stood his ground in front of them.
The intensity of his figure wasn’t much to appeal in comparison to Yoyo. With such fines, he had already conjured up his plan of evasion as well as his tactic for getting out of the bar within a moment’s notice. He hadn’t turned around like Jouen, but he had reason towards his cynical behavior. His shadow, behind him now was reaching far beyond its normal potential, connecting to more than one of the men that were cornering them to the bar. He continued to eating some of his ramen as Jouen badmouthed them. Either he was insane or he knew of Yoyo’s intent before even speaking to him, but the probability was 50% in either direction because he was a nitwit at times. Yoyo could feel his adrenaline pumping now, increasing his range and his power within his shadow, and that only meant that the power would give him more of a stretch on his understanding and knowledge of his own shadows. “I’ll tell you this and this only once. You are incapable of moving your bodies.”
“Your movements are within my hands, and what I decide to do with that is entirely up to me. Now I can either send you guys outside to your boss’s, giving us more time to escape, or I can let my friend here go to each and every one of your necks, slicing them with ease while we escape out of your territory easily. What’s your answer?” Yoyo barked. His strength and overall ego was showing in this situation, and to make sure that none of them would see his face, he’d simply turn around, making them do so as they still struggled for freedom within his shadowy trap. Their silhouettes all now combined to create one huge circular shadow, which had one loose end, where the shadow slimmed into a straight line, which indeed was Yoyo’s shadow. The group of gang members stood speechless, though their leader didn’t sweat, he seemed awfully cool and in charge, not letting his comrades know he was fooled.
