Sugizou

Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: A High speed movement technique where a user moves from one point to another as if appearing to teleport in a short distance in almost untraceable speeds. User moves in 10 meters leaving an after image behind of the user.
Special: ---
Drawback: Able to use 3 times a day when first learned. Each time learned after first time user is able to use it one more time. If user uses it passes the number capable, leg muscles cramp dramatically and user is unable to move till medical treatment. May only be used on the ground in a straight line whether facing forward or away.
Description: The after image technique is the technique that allows the user to move side to side with extreme speed and towards a general direction creating an after image of the person. This is the basis techniques for all techniques that may consist or deal with moves that deal with the After Image. This means that if a user wishes to know a technique that uses an after image they must have knowledge of this technique as well. When used this technique does not take up any movements. However a user may only use this technique equal to half the amount of their movements per round rounding down. Thus 3 movements user may use it only once per round. 15 movements user may use it 7 times per round without it taking up a movement.

That night Ren had came back sometime after dark fall and Nyustukyi had already ate his dinner. He looked at the blonde haired man looked really exhausted. He ate a small amount of food and went to sleep. Nyustukyi went to sleep as well shortly after and when he awoke Ren was nowhere in sight. He had left a note behind. The note told Nyustukyi that he was going to train some more and would be back later, probably at sun down once more. Nyustukyi figured that he would train some more. Nyustukyi also had seen that he was slow in movement. He needed to learn something that would help make his opponent confused. He had remembered people in school performing a Taijutsu move that operated at high speeds. It created an after image of the person performing it. It involved high speeds and chakra being used to create an image of the user. He knew it could be used for a few techniques afterwards but first he would have to learn the actual jutsu. He wondered how would he make the after image, he would first have to be pretty fast. Then it hit him, the training he had done when he first learned the speed portion of the Demonic Ice Mirrors. Then he thought about it, and thought against it. He couldn’t do that since he wasn’t using the mirrors to travel. He thought about it, and he guessed he would just have to do a lot of speed training to perform it.

He stood out in the middle of the training field and summoned one clone. He only wanted one so they could tell him if performed it. He stood there and charged his energy and concentrated. He had to project his body as he moved. He pushed energy to every inch of his body. The he moved quickly, but not quick enough as the clone told him that nothing had happened. Nyustukyi sighed and began to work on the technique again. Then he got an idea. Why not use the chained straight jacket for a little bit? That should help him out, at least some. He went back inside the shelter to another box he had made with the training gear inside it. He strapped on the jacket and the chains rustled as he did so. Then he focused himself and his breathing. He had forgotten how heavy the jacket truly was, and now that it was baring down on him he kind of regretted thinking up the idea. He focused and centered himself and then by charging his chakra to every inch of his body he moved. Of course nothing happened, but he moved ever so slightly. Then he repeated this. He focused again and moved this time moving a bit faster than before. Soon he was moving as if he was actually dodging a punch, which meant his body was getting use to the weight of the jacket.

He grinned at his progress but didn’t let it get to his head. He slowly relaxed and resumed his training, getting faster as he did so. Then went inside the shelter, he had had another great idea. He came out with the clone, which had followed him. The clone and Nyustukyi were carrying balls, what Nyustukyi was planning only he knew. He gave the clone the pile of balls and stood in the jacket facing the clone. The clone picked up one of the balls and took a baseball pitcher’s stance. He threw the ball at the original of himself. Nyustukyi had charged his chakra already and moved out of the way. He hadn’t moved fast enough to do anything. He was hoping that he could dodge the attacks so he could get his body a quick reaction time. He dodged a few more of the baseball pitched balls and Nyustukyi felt it was time to actually trying to do the move. He unshackled the restraints on his jacket and dropped it off his body. As it hit the ground and grass it made a loud “thump” sound, as the chains made a crackling sound. Nyustukyi stood facing the clone and began to send chakra into all of his body, waiting for the attack. The clone attacked and Nyustukyi moved, sudden and fast and soon he had created an after image of himself.

He had done well but still he had prepared for that one, now he needed to be able to perform it without preparing. He saw the clone picking up another ball and taking aim at him. He would have to wait for the throw itself. The clone threw the ball at him and he quickly sent chakra into his body and moved out of the way. However, the after image was sloppy and he had almost got hit in the arm. He still needed practice on that. He focused and waited for the clone to lock on and prepare the throw. The clone did so and performed the throw. Nyustukyi quickly sent the chakra to all parts of his body and moved out of the way. The ball went through the after image, that was neater this time but still a little sloppy. Nyustukyi inhaled a deep breath keeping him calm and controlling his breathing. He waited for the attack to come and saw the clone prepare the pitch and throw the ball. Nyustukyi sent his chakra out all over his body and moved out of the way. The ball penetrated his stomach and went all the way out the other end. He had done it, he had managed to make the after image neat and nice. He smiled, that was a great move. He looked and he wondered one simple question. Could he do it with his eyes closed or not?

Effect: Allows the user to move around on the ground or water as if they were skating on ice. Cuts travel time by half.
Special: “Hand Seals” – Serpent, Dragon, Tiger
Drawback: It is easy to track down anyone who uses this technique anywhere besides an ice terrain.
Description: By manipulating water molecules and chakra underneath their feet, the user slides across the ground or water as if they were skating on ice allowing them to travel much faster then the average shinobi’s running speed with less strain on their muscles. With each step, the area stepped on is covered with some frost.
Limit: Kaishin Bloodlimit. Requires “Water Creation” and “Ice Creation”.

Nyustukyi stepped forth onto the pond near the Kaishin Shrine on the island where he trained. He was curious on some of the jutsu he had neglected to learn because they showed now real combat potential. He performed three hand seals and all of them were half seals. He performed the Serpent, Dragon, and Tiger half seals and began to focus chakra at the bottom of his feet. He had heard of a jutsu that made it easier to travel, called Ice Sliding. He figured he would give it a try and see if he could perform the jutsu and if it helped him in traveling. The concept of the jutsu was simple and easy. Simply focus chakra at bottom of feet, then glide across the ground. However, this time he was going to test it out on the water surface.

He knew the obvious signs that it had been used correctly. They were simple and easy to see and realize. The person using the jutsu would leave a bread crumb trail of frost where ever they went. This didn’t matter however since he could travel faster. He focused his chakra and began to move and at first he moved from side to side but was doing nothing. He sighed and began to focus more chakra and soon he was moving again. On the water surface he should be making ice and not frost. That would make it simple and easy for him to know he was performing the jutsu correctly. He began to move a slight bit faster, not too much however. He began to move again this time a bit faster and a bit more. Then he looked down, still no ice but he would bet that it was cold. He focused more chakra down to his feet.

He focused his chakra and began to move again, channeling his chakra he started to run around the lake. He was hoping that he would be at least somewhat faster than if he did this normally. He stopped and looked around, in a few places there was ice, but not in a lot of places. This didn’t bother him as much as it should have but it did let him know that he needed to keep a constant level of chakra to his feet. He still didn’t know exactly the level of chakra he should keep in his feet but he was going to find out. He focused his charka and looked at the water. He had nothing under his feet and he focused more chakra to his feet and soon there was a small block of ice under his feet. He smiled that was great thing for him. He was happy about that and figured he would do something more. He would run around the lake again.

He took off at a nice speed and soon he was seeing that it was harder to keep the level of chakra in his feet while running than he thought. He exhaled and laughed he needed to really try harder. He breathed in and ran harder and faster, this time pushing his feet from side to side like a ice skater. This was after all called the Ice Sliding Jutsu. He began to go faster and faster and he could see this jutsu really was better than the normal way. He figured with enough training he could do this without really trying. However, that would leave him open for anybody tracking him. He figured that it would be best that he increased the level of his sliding. Then he remembered, there was another jutsu called Ice Surfing. That jutsu was like this jutsu on steroids and that would be faster.

However, right now he was here to do one thing and one thing only. This jutsu then learn another jutsu, that he had been dreaming about for such a long long time. He knew that if he used his jutsu he would have a really power jutsu. For now though, he liked the sliding and thought he would start sliding to his shelter. He wondered if it worked on ground and sledded over to the rock shore of the lake and stood up on it. He performed the one handed hand seals of the serpent, tiger, and dragon. He started to move faster and faster and started to ski around as if he was on ice. He traveled to his shelter in half the time it usually took and decided, he really liked this jutsu. He might go ahead and learn the bigger and better one just to see how that one was.

Description: the user takes the time to develop the sugizou technique, and add the ice release to it, this technique can especially be used as a trap, because when the opponent touches the image the ice chakra envelops the part of the opponent that touched the image with a small layer of ice, this layer of ice can only keep an opponent occupied for one turn before they break out, but even then the opponent undergoes under cooling, the user is only capable of using this technique 1 time a day, any additional times they want to perform this technique they need to learn a C rank version of the technique.

Standing outside with one of his clones who was standing beside a pill of balls. They had just been learning the Sugizou or after image move and Nyustukyi wondered if he could perform it with his eyes closed. Nyustukyi had just learned the Sugizou or after image, remembered a jutsu he had read in the clan library. It was called the Hyouketsuzou: Freezing Image. The jutsu itself did one thing that was very interesting to Nyustukyi. It was the fact that it did the same thing as the Sugizou but instead, if the opponent attacked him it would freeze them. That would be an amazing thing to do if he could pull it off. He smiled and began to channel his chakra into his body, making the air around his body colder, by holding the half seal of the snake. He would have to hold off on the doing the Sugizou with his eyes closed. He focused his chakra and made the outline of himself and waited for the clone to throw the ball. The clone threw the ball and Nysutukyi quickly dodged and watched as the ball hit the silhouette. Nothing happened and Nyustukyi exhaled a breath in disappointment. He straightened up and waited for the clone to throw another ball. As the clone did so Nyustukyi dodged and performed the after image technique. He had performed the half seal of the snake, which meant if he had did it right, he should have been able to perform the freezing image.

As he looked at his silhouette was pierced by the ball and disappeared soon after. He had done nothing but stand there. This was going to be harder than he expected, and probably harder than he figured. He repeated the training process once again. Standing there he waited for the clone to throw a ball at him. As he waited he held the half seal of the snake and waited for the clone to throw off a ball. The clone threw the ball and he after imaged out of the way. The ball approached and hit the silhouette and once again nothing happened. Nyustukyi cursed under his breath. He stopped and dispelled the clone and walked around. He collected the balls and went up to the shelter and began to rest. It was harder than he figured to learn this jutsu. He was getting rather tried and he couldn’t help but relax. Either he would relax or he would pass out. He looked up and over at Ren’s sleeping bag and wondered what the sword master was doing. He knew only that he was training but didn’t exactly know what type of training he was doing. He looked at the door as Fenrir the wolf, who had been absent came wandering in. He looked as the wolf approached him and licked his hand. He rubbed the wolves head and stood up. He got a bottle of water and began to drink from it. Time to begin his training again he assumed. Still he couldn’t help wonder what his sword master was going to teach him.

Nyustukyi shook his head to get his mind focused on his training, he still had to learn the freezing image. That was what was important right now so he might as well get started on it. He walked outside and went down to the training area. He performed the hand seals he needed to summon up a clone, and summoned one and only one ice clone. Nyustukyi began to focus his chakra again trying to perform the jutsu. He needed to make the silhouette able to freeze things instead of disappearing. He wondered how long this was going to take him to learn. He focused his chakra and performed the one handed half seal of the serpent. He held the half seal and realized how glad he was that he had learned the half seal. Now he waited for the clone to throw the ball at him and as the clone took the pitchers stance Nyustukyi inhaled a deep breath. As the clone let loose a powerful pitch Nyustukyi jumped out of the way. Performing the Sugizou and he watched as the ball passed through the outline of his body, and nothing happened to it. He really needed to increase the amount of chakra he used apparently. He began to stretch his legs, they were feeling a little tense from all the fast movement. He really needed to get use to the Sugizou.

The strain that the Sugizou forced on his leg muscles was a great, amount, and trying to perform it as well as another jutsu was almost insane. However, Nyustukyi would complete it and he would finish his training. The Freezing Image would give him a great advantage over his opponent, who probably, in all likely hood, would not be expecting it. He performed the hand seals again and began to increase his energy flow. He moved from side to side, as the clone threw another ball in his direction. He had held the snake half seal and he dodged the attack easily. However, nothing happened once again expect the ball passed through the after image. Nyustukyi sighed and sat down, he really needed to rest a little bit more, and maybe after five more minutes he would try performing the move once more. He thought about how he was glad he had learned the half seal of the serpent. He could easily charge up this jutsu, without giving his intentions away. He figured sometime he would have to learn more half seals, to make sure he would be able to use jutsus one handed. He breathed outward and wondered what jutsu he would learn next after this one. Then he thought about this jutsu, what would he do to learn it? How would he know he learned it? Other than the freezing property of course.

Nyustukyi was stretching his legs out, by doing simple stretches. He was standing bent over, his toes sticking straight up while grabbing them with his hand. He was simple pulling on them, to stretch out his calves. He was doing this on his right foot first and would proceed to the left afterwards. The stretch was called the calf stretch variation toe pull, for obvious reasons. He straightened up feeling that his right leg was stretched out enough and moved to perform the toe pull on his left calf now. He bent down and stretched it out and looked at the ball lying in the field. He was stretching because he had been trying to perform a jutsu. The jutsu was called the Freezing Image Jutsu and relied heavily on the Sugjzou or after image technique. It was harder than he had imagined, the fact that his chakra had to freeze whatever went though it was a tad bit more difficult. He knew that his legs were put under a great deal of strain when performing the Sugizou. That is why he would take these short stretch breaks, to get his legs back to full working order. Also, to release as much of that stress as possible. He would soon begin his training again, but he would first end his stretching. Another good reason to take these, was to regain his chakra, it was hard learning this move, and it was tiring.

He inhaled through his nose and out through his mouth and drank some water after he was done. He put the bottle of water down and began to perform the hand seals he needed to bring out a clone. The clone he made was made out of ice, which he created. The clone knew what to do, and walked over to the balls Nyustukyi had brought out with him. The clone picked up the balls and took a pitcher’s stance. Nyustukyi performed the hand seal he needed to charge his chakra and wait for the clone to throw the ball at him. As the clone did so Nyustukyi performed the after image technique, moving quickly out of the way. As he did so he had left behind what looked like another clone of him in his place. However, in truth and reality it was merely the image of him. The ball pasted through the image and went on until it hit the ground. Nyustukyi figured the clone had thrown the ball a bit too hard. He went and retrieved the balls and when he got to that ball he noticed something. The ball was cold, not frozen, just cold. He blinked a few times in surprise and felt the ball with his other hand. Sure enough the ball was cold, and he inspected more. No ice had formed on it, but he was starting to get there.

He gave the clone the other balls and stood waiting for the next incoming pitch the clone would deliver. The clone whinnied the pitch up and threw the ball, and quickly Nyustukyi moved out of the way as the ball passed through and went on until it hit the ground. Again, a bit too hard on the throw but Nyustukyi could have cared less about that. Right now he wanted to see what the ball felt like. He quickly felt the temperature of the ball and it felt cold to the touch. Like ice, but there was no ice on the ball, sure enough he hadn’t imagined it. He threw the ball to the clone who caught it and put it down, then picked up another ball.”Hey not so hard this time just a simple throw that will go through the image, but not go twenty feet away.” Nyustukyi told the clone of himself, who shook his head in understanding. The clone would begin to take the pitchers stance once more and get ready to throw the ball at Nyustukyi. Nyustukyi prepared to dodge and see if he could perform this correctly. The clone threw the ball at him and Nyustukyi quickly dodged, he had performed the hand seals and concentrated his chakra as the clone had been preparing to fire off another ball. Nyustukyi created the after image and watched as the ball went through and onwards a few more feet. He walked over and picked up the ball, it was cold but he was tired of running to get the ball. He performed more hand seals, and then summoned another clone.

The addition of a new clone meant that clone could catch the balls. That way Nyustukyi wouldn’t have to run all over the bloody place. He signed and walked between the pair of clones. ”Now you both understand? Let’s begin once more shall we? he told them and he concentrated his chakra and he performed the hand seals he needed. He pumped more chakra into the jutsu, and into his pours. He made the air around him very cold, maybe this would help, and he waited for the clone to throw the ball at him. He focused and charged his chakra more and more. Now would be the time to see if he was right or not about this jutsu. He hoped this time he would at least make some ice on the ball. He waited and the clone brought up its right leg and threw the ball. He had put a lot of chakra into this, now the only question was, could he do it?

Nyustukyi Soshi, a seventeen year old male shinobi, from the village hidden in the mist, was, right now, in the field being what could be called, “Target Practice”. He was standing between two clones who were trying to hit him with a ball, and he was dodging them. There was one clone who had just thrown a ball at his head, he had stayed there until the very last moment. Then he did what appeared to be made another clone. Either that or somehow defy the laws of nature and make himself be in two places at once. The ball steamed through the air and then connected, or would have connected. The ball went through his body and all the way to the other clone that caught it. The clone looked at the ball and shook his head at the other Nyu that had appeared, who cursed under his breath. Then the Nyu in the center began to fade and what had happened was clear. Nyustukyi had performed the after image technique and made a double of himself. Nyustukyi had a look on his face that seemed really made and walked over to where he had been standing. He performed another set of hand seals and held them, waiting on his clone to throw another ball his way; or should I say at him? He seemed to focus himself and wait for the clone to throw.

The clone fired off a fastball at him, that if it had caught on fire no one would have been surprised. Nyustukyi dodged and created another after image and soon enough the ball went through the image and to the next clone. It should be noted that the clone behind the image caught the ball but the impact made a “Thud” type sound again its hands. Nyustukyi looked over at the clone which shook its head side to side, meaning no ice had formed. He breathed out and moved back into his position between the two clones. What was he doing wrong? Was he not putting enough chakra? Freezing the air around him and making it cold enough? He really wanted to know, but didn’t know what, or how he would do it. He thought and focused more chakra into his body and around his body. He began to freeze the air around him and wait for the clone to throw another pitch. He concentrated and made the air around him as cold as possible. He focused more chakra into the center of his body and all around him. The clone took up the pitcher’s stance and looked at Nyustukyi. He drew back its right hand and brought out its right leg. He threw the ball at Nyustukyi who waited, still charging the chakra until the last second. He dodged creating an after image of himself and watching the ball go through his image. The ball went all the way to the other clone, which caught it with a second thud. Nyustukyi quickly looked at the clone who looked at its hands. It looked at him, smiled, and shook its head up in down. The shinobi ran over to his clone and looked at the ball.

It wasn’t a lot of ice, but it was enough to make Nyustukyi feel accomplished, at least a little bit. He had managed to make the ball be covered in small ice shards. It wasn’t a block of ice, but at least he knew he was on the right track. This would help him figure out how to perform the jutsu more and more, and hopefully by that time he would be done with it. He breathed in a deep breath and dispelled the clones after taking the balls from the clones. He needed to give his legs another rest. He knew that his legs were at the resting point. That is why he needed to rest and stretch them out some more, that way he didn’t hurt himself. Besides, he needed to restore his chakra so he could perform the jutsu later, once his legs where back to normal. He walked over to the pile of balls and laid down the other balls in the pile. He then moved over to his bottle of water and began to drink from it, looking at the spot he had been standing for the training. What else would help him perfect this jutsu? He wondered, he thought about it, he had performed the jutsu somewhat up until now. He just needed to increase and give it a little more of a boost. How much of a boost however, that was the real question. He had to increase his chakra input into the jutsu a bit more. If he didn’t he wouldn’t be able to really perform the jutsu correctly, or soon for that matter. He put down the bottle of water, time to stretch out his calves and legs some more. Better safe than sorry, right?

Nyustukyi began to stretch out his legs so his legs were back to their full strength. He began to walk up the hill and to his shelter. He wanted to see if there was anything to eat, he was kind of hungry. Who was he kidding? Kind of? He was starving, especially after using so much chakra and moving so much. He quickly ate down some bacon he had made the day before, which was still good. He then stood up and walked outside, with his stomach full and his legs ready to perform more fast paced movements. He walked down to the training site, and as he did so pondered a few questions. What was the limit of the use of the after image? Once found, could he breakthrough said barrier? Was there anyway of learning the freezing image easier? Had his bloodline members learned the technique as well? All these questions he thought but he figured he would concentrate on one thing only; or at least try to concentrate. He reached the training area and looked around the open field. He much preferred this for moving around, but anything else he would like the shrine training area. Water jutsu and some bloodline would be better suited to be learnt there. He didn’t know exactly which ones but he had a few ideas of what he could learn there.

He moved quickly and began to perform the hand seals for the two clones. First he formed the chakra in his body and projected it outwards into two spots. Then he increased his chakra flow to the spots to make the spots grow cold. Soon he created water in those spots and froze them. After that was completed he made sure the newly frozen ice was shaped into his image. Then he made sure to reinforce the ice to make it harder, and unable to be melted. Then he told them their instructions and one went in front of him while the other stood behind him. The one in front of him was beside a pile of balls that was being used to test the freezing power of the technique. He clone picked up the first ball and Nyustukyi proceeded to perform hand seals. Then he charged his chakra into his body and waited for the clone to cast the first throw. The clone unleashed a heavy strike at Nyustukyi, who dodged out of the way. He watched as the ball went right through his image and out the other side to the other clone who caught it. Merely a few crystals the clone said to the original and his twin. Nyustukyi sighed and began his work again, he repeated the process to only have the same results show up. He cursed what was he doing wrong? Why was this so hard for him to learn?

Nyustukyi began to focus his chakra in the center of the clones. He waited for the clones throw, but as he did so he charged his body with chakra. He watched as the clone threw the ball at him and Nyustukyi quickly dodged out of the way, leaving an after image in his spot. The image was penetrated by the ball and Nyustukyi watched and the ball hit the other clone. Nothing had happened, the clone confirmed it. Nyustukyi concentrated now and began to focus his energy into his body. Channeling the chakra through his body he waited for the clone to cast the first throw. When the clone did Nyustukyi pushed more chakra into his body and the spot around him. Then he moved leaving only an after image in his place. Nyustukyi smiled as the ball went through the spot and figured, or hoped he had done the right thing. The clone caught the ball and looked at Nyustukyi then showed him the ball. It was completely frozen solid. Nyustukyi smiled at the progress, but a ball was a small surface, the real challenge would be something much bigger. He looked at the clone near the pile and told the clone to pick up a tree branch. The clone followed the order and picked up a nearby tree branch and approached Nyustukyi who had told him to. Nyustukyi was now going to try freezing a tree branch that was being trusted at him. That was his plan at least and he waited. Could he really do this? How much ice would he be able to create to do this? Those questions raced through his mind as he thought about the test.

Nyustukyi was now focusing his chakra inwards waiting to see how strong or how fast he could perform the freezing image. He had two clones with him, one was holding a tree branch the other watching. He had already managed to pass the ball test he had designed for himself. Now was the stabbing test, in which a clone would try and stab him with a tree branch. This would mean Nyustukyi would have to be fast at both performing the jutsu and with his movements. He waited for the clone to try the attack and charged his chakra and performed the hand seals. He molded his chakra to decrease the temperature around his body, to freezing levels. He exhaled a deep breath and waited for the test to begin. The clone twitch, an indication that he was beginning the test. Nyustukyi focused and sent a pulse of chakra into the technique and moved out of the way, barely in time to dodge the attack. The tree branch had a few shards of ice on it, but nothing major enough to count as frozen. Nyustukyi sighed, this was going to be really difficult to perform in such a short amount of time. However, if he wanted to learn this jutsu, he would simple have to suck it up, find a way, and perform the jutsu. He breathed through his nose and focused his mind. He really needed to perform this jutsu right here, and right now. He increased the amount of chakra into his body, and made the air around his body nice and cold. Then he waited for the clone to try his luck at hitting him again.

The clone moved suddenly, Nyustukyi had been expecting it, and moved out of the way leaving an after image behind him. The clone hit the image with the tree branch and Nyustukyi watched as the log showed signs of freezing. Not enough once again, but more than before, there was a nice frost on it. He smiled, progress was nice and better than nothing. He stood still again, and replayed what happened last time in his head. Before the clone had attacked him, he had performed the hand seals and held the snake half seal. Charging the energy or chakra in his body he had left not only the outer image of himself in the spot; but had chilled the spot to be colder than normal. He had basically left a trap for anyone who hit the image. The image would freeze the victim of the trap, if they touched it. That is, if performed correctly. He thought about it, he was simply adding the ice release to the after image. The hard part was adding it without being hit, since well, you have to stay long enough to complete the jutsu. This usually meant that there would be things coming in and trying to hit him. That usually didn’t leave many open spots to dodge or anything. Nyustukyi inhaled a deep breath and waited for the clone to attack. He had performed the hand seals and charged his energy. He was now waiting for his opponent to attack him.

The clone lunged at him, and Nyustukyi dodged the incoming blow. He moved quickly out of the way and watched as the clone struck the image of him with the branch. The branch froze with a thin layer of ice. Nyustukyi smiled at this and figured that was better than nothing. He would of course get better with time but right now, he needed to focus on the final portion of his training. Possibly the hardest and most challenging of this training so far. First however, he needed to rest and stretch, since this training was looking to break its foot off in his fourth point of contact. He dispelled the clones and walked over to the bottle of water and took a good swig of it. He relaxed himself and controlled his breathing as he moved his legs out in front of him. He bent over to touch his toes and felt his muscles stretch. This was what he was aiming for after all. This next bout of training was something after his own image of how training should be. He believed in risky training, thinking it would provide more knowledge of how to use the technique. Like the ball and trying to hit him, it taught timing from incoming projectiles. The tree branch taught timing with hand swung attacks. Now there was simply only one more area of training to cover. If he had not learned the Frozen Mist Jutsu he would’ve never even attempted it. He was going to learn the jutsu, without seeing the attack coming. Dangerous no?

Nyustukyi began to stretch out and breath in and out of his nose. He was going to really hate this training, even with the Frozen Mist Jutsu. He thought back to what his training had taught him. The ball training had taught him to have the jutsu prepared when the opponent draws back their hands. The close quarters combat had taught him to be ready when the enemy takes his stance. Not when he makes his attack at you. He closed his eyes and saw his training in his head. The clone throwing the ball and him charging his chakra into the center of his body. Then quickly moving to the side leaving an after image of himself in his place. This was the key part of the jutsu, before he moved he needed to send a spike of chakra into the jutsu. This increase in chakra would mean that whatever went through the image would be frozen. This was the only way he knew of, to make the jutsu stick and actually work. He then remembered the attack with the tree branch and his timing. He would have to perform the hand seals before the attack was even launched. That would be the only way he could block the attack on time or anything. He then thought about his timing with the chakra spike. He would have to send the spike as he performed the Sugizou or after image. This would give the image the freezing power it needed. That would be the one thing he had to do before leaving the area, is send the spike.

He opened his eyes he was ready to start the training. He had performed the stretches and had rested up enough. Now was the time to see if he could perform the training like it needed to be performed. He did a line of hand seals and summoned two clones. He looked at them and opened his mouth. “I want you to attack me with the branch and the balls. One of you takes the branch the other takes up the balls. I will have my eyes closed, and be relying on my Frozen Mist Jutsu. This is a simulation of a real battle so actually attack me, until I saw otherwise. he told them pointing to the tree branch and the pile of balls. He pulled out a long ribbon and tied it around his head, blocking his field of view. He was clam and waited for the test to begin. Soon he felt a rush of cold hitting him in the face and as fast as lighting performed the hand seals. He jumped out of the way the attack came in, he was now a few meters away. He didn’t know if the jutsu had worked. He had sent the spike and channeled his chakra, if he had done it right, then the branch had ice on it. Then he felt three cold blows on his chest and quickly performed more hand seals after imaging to the side. He had sent the spike, but something being thrown at him made it very difficult to perform the hand seals. If only he had move distance with the mist.

Suddenly he felt a cold wave rushing his waist stepped back a few feet and performed hand seals as he did so. He after imaged out of the way and then felt more cold waves on his back. He must have gotten turned around, or the clone was moving. He had no time to perform the hand seals, he dodged out of the way by falling to the ground. He felt the vibrations of something charging and felt the cold wave rushing him. He flipped, doing a hand stand for a second and jumped away from the rushing attacker. On the ground he wouldn’t have been able to perform the Sugizou. He performed hand seals, still feeling the cold wave, but it had changed it direction of angle. He moved out of the way, after sending a spike of chakra and sensing the attack coming in. He dodged it of course but now his leg was killing him. He yelled out to the clones ”ENOUGH!”. He knew the training would be hard, he had no question in his mind on that. Just he felt like the clones had kicked his butt royally. He took off the blindfold and looked at the clones. The clone with the branch, showed him the branch, which was now more like a ice baseball bat. Then he looked at the ground were the balls where, they were frozen. At least those that he had been able to perform the jutsu on. His legs hurt him now, and he stretched them out. He dispelled the clones, and thought to himself. Maybe a nice meditation would help him out. He thought of a place where he could perform this meditation. The waterfall!

†Part I: Forming under the Waterfall†

Nyustukyi was sitting on a under the waterfall meditating centering his mind. He had heard about one jutsu, that his bloodline had used that was, in short, a dream of his. It was the one jutsu that if used on people would be the strongest one he knew. He knew of three jutsu in which he held to high regard. One was the Demonic Ice Mirrors, which he knew of and had mastered it. The second was a jutsu he did not know. It was not in his bloodline, it was an Ice Jutsu. The name of it was Twin Dragon Blizzard. The next one was the one he held higher than most. It was the one that he dreamt of learning. It is known simply as Thousand Flying Water Needles of Death. It is the strongest jutsu in his bloodline, and hardest to learn as well. He hated the fact that it was so hard but he had already learnt the five hundred senbon jutsu. The Flying Water Needles of Death, which was just simply the weaker version of the jutsu. A true master of this Kaishin bloodline would have this jutsu under his control and in his arsenal. He opened his eyes, they were calm, cool, and focused. His mind was made up, he was going to learn this jutsu.

Being under the waterfall near his clan shrine on the island where he trained at was going to help. He clothes where on the rock shore and he liked how there was one rock under the waterfall. He focused his chakra and began to perform the hand seals. He channeled his chakra out into five hundred spots and then tried to push it out into more spots. He couldn¡¯t the most he could get was five hundred and fifty ice needles. Even then however, they weren¡¯t even needles, they were shards. He sighed, this was going to be a lot harder than he thought, but he had no choice in the matter, he had to learn it. He had to master this jutsu, to show that he had mastered his bloodline. He closed his eyes and channeled his chakra. He opened his eyes and then began to perform more hand signs and tried to send more chakra out. The air under the waterfall was full of water vapor, thus it made it easier for him. This would save him from performing the Water Creation Jutsu. He knew it was better to learn without the creation first, to get the hand of the chakra placement. Being in one thousands places would be very hard and straining on his body. He breathed in controlling it breathing, or at least making the attempt to. His training under the waterfall, while good for the water source was hard on his lungs. The shear chill of the mountain water rushing down on him was very breath taking. He had to focus heavily in order to perform this correctly. He was glad that he had brought a pair of extra clothes.

He performed another round of hand seals and tried forming the needles again. He was trying to form them in front of the waterfall, this way he could see them. It was draining to do this, but he felt confident enough that he would. He focused and sent his chakra out into the water vapor near the base of the waterfall. He imagined making one thousand needles of ice in his mind. However, he only saw five hundred being formed. He pushed more chakra outwards trying to focus his energy and make his jutsu stronger. He looked at the numbers he had and if he had to guess he only had the same number as before. Five hundred and fifty ice senbon. That still wasn¡¯t enough to perfect the jutsu. That was nowhere close to even performing the jutsu. He sighed and dispelled the jutsu, watching as the needles vanished. He was nowhere closer than when he had begun, given that he had just began. He knew this jutsu was going to be hard, but he still didn¡¯t see why he wasn¡¯t getting the hand of it. With the added bonus of the waterfall he should easily have made the needles. He exhaled and decided that he would just have to keep trying. He pushed out more chakra trying to make the needles, but he was feeling even more exhausted. He wondered why and then realized as he shook his body from the cold. The waterfall had cold water, that cold water was draining his energy.

That could mean only one thing. That training under this waterfall made any jutsu learnt one rank higher. So really he was trying to learn a Sannin level jutsu, even thought normally this was just an ANBU level jutsu. He exhaled and tried forming the needles again but only five hundred and fifty, or what looked to be five hundred and fifty came up. This was going to be a long session of training. He jumped into the water and swam until he reached the stone shore where he got out and laid down. He was exhausted, he needed to rest. At least for a little while, in a moment he would be back to training, but right now, he was cloud gazing. He was tired, the strain on his body thanks to the cold mountain water had been a bit much. He figured however, if he could perform the jutsu under a raging waterfall, he could perform it anywhere. He laid there for a few moments and regained his strength, he would need it after all to make a thousand needles of ice. He wondered how many of his bloodline had actually learnt this jutsu and where using it. He himself knew of one person who could probably use it, the grandmaster Kaishin could. Nysutukyi would lay there and wait, he still needed to regain some more chakra before going out and trying to perform the jutsu.

Nyustukyi was still lying down on the rock beach and was just relaxing. The sun was out and it was a wonderful day out. The sun was out, it wasn¡¯t too hot but it wasn¡¯t freezing out. The water in the lake was not too bad, but the waterfall was very chill. He stood up and stretched out his legs and arms, moving them to get the blood circulating. He knew that it would be hard to do this training but he had no choice. He really wanted to learn this jutsu. He walked out upon the water and stopped half way and took a long look at the waterfall. It was a beautiful waterfall and he looked at the lake and the surround area. He was always taken back at the shear beautiful of this place. He walked to the side and walked under the waterfall and began to concentrate and meditate. He was sitting on the rock under the water fall in a mediation style fashion. He was focusing his energy and chakra through his body and then he opened his eyes. He started to perform the hand seals and focus his chakra in places above his head. He focused and imaged a thousand needles forming above and around him. He breathed out and his mouth and in through his nose. He channeled more chakra into the places he had been concentrating at, and forced his chakra into it. He looked and saw shards of ice forming in hundreds of spots but if he had to guess it was nowhere close to one thousand needles.

He pushed out more chakra trying to increase the numbers of his shards, which were slowly becoming needles. He pushed more chakra out into the spots above his head and around him. He increased his energy flow and allowed more of his chakra to funnel through him into the air. He was trying his best to form the thousand senbon, but it was taking a lot out of him to do so. He concentrated and breathed in and out trying to increase his chakra as much as he could. As he looked at the needles he had created, he saw possibly five hundred and eighty something. That was just a rough guess, but he was getting further and further. He now just had four hundred and twenty to go before he hit his thousand needle mark. He pushed more chakra up into the air and a few moments later he looked at what he thought was six hundred needles. He stopped and they fell to the rocks and water around him. He had done a good job but still needed to increase the amount of needles. As he thought of it, he had a laundry list of areas he had to cover. Aiming, a thousand senbon was probably harder than the normal five hundred. Not only that but he had to learn how to form them outside the waterfall, in the open air, with little water vapor. He would tackle that problem however, when he reached it.

The youth gathered his chakra from throughout his body and began to focus it. He performed the hand seals and ended and held the tiger hand seal. He had to perform more hand seals than the normal five hundred volley needed. He was tried after performing this jutsu, and he hadn¡¯t even managed to perform the actually jutsu. He focused and began to imagine one thousand areas above his head filling with chakra. Slowly his chakra would freeze the water vapor in the air and make them become ice. Then make them long and slender in the shape of needles. After that he would increase the power of their hardness by having them absorb more chakra. They would become harder, and unbeatable by fire techniques. He would make this jutsu unstoppable; he would perfect this jutsu, and make his enemies face a wall of needles. Making his enemies pin cushions would be a very interesting thing indeed; but somehow he figured doing so to a single person would be over kill. After all, no one would be able to identify the person what so ever. One thousand needles in one body, which would possibly cover every inch of the person. He turned his mind to his needle creation and focused more heavily on them. He looked and pumped more chakra out into the air above him. After a while he looked again and figured he probably had just over six hundred needles.

He breathed out heavily and dropped the ice needles, some cracking or breaking as they landed. He inhaled a deep breath and walked out from the waterfall, moving closer to the shore. He reached the rock shore and exhaled a heavy breath as he laid down on the beach head. He needed to regain his energy, as well as dry off a bit. He laid his head down and rested himself, he would need his strength to get back up and fight again. He looked over and saw the shrine, and wondered what exactly was in there. Maybe some left over training tips on how to train, or something. He forced himself up and walked over into the shrine. He looked through it and found, what appeared to be, a candle shop. Then he got an idea in his head. He would have fun with these later, but as for right now, he would train to form the thousand ice senbon. He walked back out and saw Fenrir sitting on the rock beach head, just watching him. He smiled and rubbed the wolf on the head. ¡±Come to watch the training boy?¡± Nyu said to the wolf who wagged his tail. He walked back to the water surface. Time to being more training, and with it the hopeful mastery of the thousand needle jutsu.

Nyustukyi performed a horse stance, spreading his legs and holding his arms close to his rib cage. He then concentrated his chakra into the center of his body as the water poured down upon his head. He was directly under the waterfall and the water was extremely cold. It stabbed at his body like tons of needles and knives into his skin. He was freezing but he could do this, he knew he could perform this jutsu. He performed the hand seals and focused his chakra sending it into as many areas above his head has he could. He focused and watched as the water vapor and actual water formed into very sharp and very thin needles. Nyustukyi watched the small pieces of ice form all around him, until there was close to six hundred and twenty, possibly more, needles. He grinned at the thought of increasing the number of needles in his arsenal. He pushed more chakra out into the area around him, and still more needles took form. He was getting the hang out this, he was really quite happy. He pushed more chakra out and kept on until he could no longer pump anymore out. He was now breathing hard, but tried to send out another pulse of chakra. However, he failed in his attempt and fell to one knee. He tried to control his breathing but had a hard time doing so.

¡±Crap, might have over done it here. he said to himself. ¡±Gee, that is the over statement of the freaking century.¡± he thought to himself, as his inner voice had a hint of sarcasm. He managed to bring one more foot up and stand up fully. He counted the needles above his head, and realized there must be almost several hundred needles around him. He had almost three hundred more needles and he would have the numbers he required to complete the jutsu. He exhaled a sigh of relief and dispelled the needles. As they fell he looked at them, it was like watching a huge mirror shatter above him. He smiled as he saw the glitter of them, it was beautiful. Then he noticed that as some hit the water and some of the rocks around him, they broke in half. Another thing he needed to work on them. Their hardness was simply too weak, he would have to increase them. He laughed, how could he not have known? More training was obviously going to be required. He laughed and stopped himself. He walked out and around the waterfall, the water was really quite cold. He walked over to the rock beach head and laid down. He caught his breath and rested for a moment, he stayed there for about fifteen minutes.

He got up and decided to test his luck out, without the aid of the waterfall, which was draining his energy with its cold water. He performed a string of hand seals, and held the tiger half seal. He focused and pushed his chakra into the air, and began to create water in the air. Then he quickly froze the water into ice, in a thin and long form. He was making the needles or senbon as they were called. He focused and began to increase their length and try to increase their numbers. He needed to get his body use to making the large quantity of the needles required for the jutsu. He pushed more chakra into the air, focusing and hoping that he could increase the needles numbers. Soon they were more than when he was under the waterfall. Obviously he was right with his thought that the cold water was slowing down his ice needle process. Would he continue it? Would he continue to put his body under the stress and constant pounding of the ice cold mountain water? He looked up at his number, and realized that the training had actually help him out. He looked around at the mass numbers he had, he must have had almost, if not, eight hundred needles. The waterfall¡¯s cold water had pushed him to keep on, and now he was almost at his number without its aid. He should continue his waterfall training. It would help, besides it would get his body trained, for colder conditions or fighting in the rain. Heck, he might fight under a waterfall one day, so then it really would help him.

He dispelled the technique and watched as the ice senbon disappeared, to which he smiled. This was simply amazing, he simply loved this. He knew he would love this jutsu once he perfected it. Why wasn¡¯t it if he perfected it in his mind? He had his mind set, that he would learn this jutsu, regardless of how much training he had to do. His resolve was as cold and hard has his ice, and his ice couldn¡¯t be broken easily, nor melted easily. He was in for the long haul.

Nyustukyi was regaining his chakra after extensive training. He was simply staring at the waterfall, then turned his gaze to the shrine and walked over to it. He pulled out tons of candleholders. He must have brought out a few hundred, but what was he up to? He stopped at about four hundred candleholders and inhaled a deep breath. He walked over to water surface and began to walk across it. He now was heading towards the waterfall itself, and soon he was at the waterfall itself. He positioned himself under the waterfall¡¯s stream. He began to charge his body with chakra and the area around him. Sending chakra into small areas in the air above his head. He was trying to get his chakra into one thousand places. Hoping that by doing this he would make the thousand needles he needed. However, as he started to make the water in the air freeze and harden, thus making it into ice, he noticed something. He wasn¡¯t even past the last number he had. He had created about seven hundred last time, now he was closer, but not by much. If he had to guess he had made about seven hundred and twenty to seven hundred and thirty ice senbon. This training was harder that when he was standing on the open ground. Outside he had made over eight hundred senbon, but in here he was making hundred less than that. This was going to be one long day, but somehow he would get through it and learn the jutsu he was aching for.

He pushed more chakra outwards, channeling it into the air around him, and slowly the numbers increased. He sent pulse after pulse of chakra into the air trying to make more and more of the wondrous ice senbon. He smiled and then tried to go all for none, and send a constant stream of chakra out to the area around him. More ice senbon were created faster and faster, but soon he was completely out of chakra and the ice needles fell to the water. Nyustukyi himself fell to the ground, both knees giving way under the pressure of the waterfall. He held his body up with all the energy he had left. He pushed himself up and out from under the waterfall, slowly walking and working his way to the rock shoreline. He sat himself down and then laid down, breathing rapidly. That had taken everything out of him, and he was worn out. He focused trying to just recover as fast as he possibly could. He wondered how Ren was doing. The thought was random, and sudden, but it was the truth. The whole training he hadn¡¯t thought about Ren once, now he was. He forced the thought from his mind and stood up, or tried to. Fenrir, the wolf, came over and licked his face as he had sat up. He rubbed the wolf¡¯s fur and slowly worked himself to a crouched standing position. He walked over to the shrine and continued his work of pulling out the candleholders. He got up to six hundred before he felt like he was ready to go perform more of the thousand needles.

He walked towards the waterfall across the lake. He was now ready to begin his training again, and hopefully with better result. He performed more hand seals and held the one handed tiger half seal. He focused pushing more chakra out in a fast ongoing stream, trying to form the needles as fast as he could. Soon he had made five hundred of the one thousand ice senbon. He wasn¡¯t going to stop now, he was half way there. In truth he was only performing the lower leveled and not as powerful Flying Water Needles of Death Jutsu. He had done wonderful at that one, now came the harder part. He pushed more chakra out and soon he was past six hundred ice needles, and began to push more out. Soon he reached the seven hundred mark, and was feeling the effects heavily now. Still he pushed more and pushed harder until soon enough he had reached almost eight hundred needles. As he looked he figured that there was only seven hundred and eighty. He was so close, all he needed was twenty more and he would have the eight hundred mark. That would mean he was only be two hundred away from forming one thousand needles. Then he would try and aim to form the jutsu outside the waterfall, which should be a bit easier. He was shaking and he had to stop. He watched as the needles fell to the water¡¯s surface. Then Nyustukyi took off running towards the rock surface. His stomach was upset and he ran over the rock bank and to the wood line.

He bent over and started to puke, maybe he had pushed his body a bit too far. When he was done he came over to the rock beach and sat down. He had to catch his breath, and control his breathing. Once he had controlled his breathing, he realized that he was really hungry. Perhaps he should go fill his stomach after emptying his stomach just now. After all he had been performing this jutsu and not ate at all. He slowly stood up and went over to his backpack he had brought with him. Time to dig in to some food, but not too much. He didn¡¯t need to overdo it did he?

Drawback: The user cannot control the needles outside of their Ice Creation radius. Likewise, they cannot form the needles outside of their Ice Creation radius either. Lastly, the water must be within the air in order for it to be controlled.
Description: The final form of the Water Needles technique, this version creates up to 1000 Ice Needles suspended in the air. As with the precursor technique, the needles are formed from water within the air and remain suspended as long as the user holds the Tiger Hand Seal. Likewise the needles can be aimed at the targets whilst being suspended before firing in the direction they were last aimed at when the seal is released. The strength of the Ice is determined by Kuri Buki and the range to which the needles can be formed is determined by the radius they have with Ice Creation.

Nyustukyi sat by a nice little fire which was roaring on the dry side of the rocks. He was cooking two pieces of meat. One was for him, and the other for his friend Fenrir. He watched the fire, and then stood up and walked into the shrine. He looked around to see if he could see anything that he hadn¡¯t already seen. He scanned the shrine and he could see nothing else. He breathed out and began to take more candleholders outside with the rest. The whole time he checked on his meat over the fire. He managed to get a few more out before he went and took the meat off the stick. Then he gave Fenrir his piece while dressing his own and then eating it. He enjoyed the food, it tasted great, especially to his empty stomach. He sat watching the waterfall in a glaze eyed trance. He was imagining what he could do to master this jutsu even more. He had images going through his mind at a mile a minute. He already had about ten ideas, one he really liked but that would help him make the needles. He stood up and stretched, and went back into the shrine. He brought out more of the candleholders and began to stack them outside. He looked he must have six hundred candleholders, and he had more inside. He went outside and began to pull more of them out. He managed to pull a few more of them out and then walked over to Fenrir. ¡±You think that this will be enough Fenrir? he said smiling at the wolf. He rubbed the wolf on the center of his head and then turned to the waterfall. Now to return to his training.

He walked across the water surface and walked around the waterfall and stood on the rock under the waterfall¡¯s stream. He stood there feeling the cold water pour over his body and his lungs started to lose breath. He centered his mind and began to control his breathing and looked around the waterfall, breathing in through his nose and out his mouth. He opened his eyes, they had turned the frozen ice blue that meant he was serious. He began to perform the string of hand seals that would lead him into the jutsu. He held the one handed half seal of the tiger and pushed more chakra outwards. Soon the young shinobi had created five hundred ice needles and kept on pushing. He reached the six hundred needle mark with what appeared to be relative ease. He pushed out more charka and soon he was knocking on the seven hundred needle mark. He was feeling the resistance as he reached for more chakra and found less and less to pull from. He pushed and pumped out more chakra, slowly increasing the number. He had to make it to eight hundred, even if it meant puking all over himself. The image of him doing so entered his mind, as well as the image of him running across the water the previous time. If he had the energy to run, then he had the energy to make twenty more ice needles. He focused forming more and more needles until he looked up. He was almost at the eight hundred mark. He concentrated and channeled more chakra into the area around him.

He reached his goal, eight hundred needles, but he didn¡¯t stop there. He pushed more chakra out, he was aiming for eight hundred and fifty ice senbon. He knew he was only two hundred away from the one thousand needle mark, but he had to try. He pushed more and more chakra out trying as hard as he could to make the volley of needles. He was almost at the point where he was about to give up, when he remembered his training. All the training he had been through, this jutsu would not defeat him. He concentrated and made more needles. Sending out any and all chakra he had left into the area around him. This single session had worn him out completely and fully. He stopped and forced himself to gaze upward. He looked and grinned, or tried to at least. He must have created eight hundred and fifty maybe a few more. He moved from under the waterfall and moved back against the rock cliff that was behind its stream. He navigated himself out from the waterfall by going out the side of the waterfall and into the lake. He walked to the bank of the lake and sat down, and soon his back was on the ground and he was breathing heavily. Water and sweat were mixed, it was obvious he had really pushed himself today in his training. His head rested on the rock shore and he glanced over to the wolf Fenrir who simply looked at him. He smiled, that was a good wolf, he always watched over Nyustukyi.
