Nyustukyi stood up and stretched out his arms and legs, trying to get his blood to circulate. He moved around trying to raise his heartbeat. Why was he doing this? To make his muscles more relaxed and more limber. He then stopped moving and looked at the waterfall. Time to begin his training again, he cracked his neck and moved to the water¡¯s surface. He walked over the water by focusing his chakra in the soles of his feet. He walked over to the waterfall and walked behind it, climbing up on the rock that was directly under the waterfall¡¯s stream. Whoever had made this lake was really talented, that is if nature hadn¡¯t done this. Nyustukyi had a feeling that Nature was not the cause for this lake¡¯s structure. One day he would go higher up on the mountain to see the entire island as well as what could have diverted the water down to this point. He exhaled as the chill of the water breached his skin. It felt like ice striking deep into the caverns of his heart and chest in general. He fought threw it and began to focus himself. Getting his mind off the chill and cold of the water, and focused on his chakra and breathing. Controlling his breath so the cold wouldn¡¯t steal it away from him. He couldn¡¯t let a little cold beat him, after all he was a ice user. He focused on that and started the string of hand seals for the jutsu. He finished the hand seals and pushed out the chakra into the area around his body. He began to image the form of ice needles being formed. The water in the air forming into a long slender shape, freezing making the needle of water a needle of ice.
He breathed in his mouth and then pushed out the chakra once more. Sending pulses of chakra out every few seconds, and he kept the image of ice needles formed around him. He focused his chakra and regulated it with the tiger half seal that he still held. He breathed out and began to increase the amount he put inside the pulses. He did have a constant stream of chakra in the air to control them, not a lot just a small amount. It was keeping the chakra needed to keep the needles hovering, but his forming power came from the pulses. He looked around and he saw probably six maybe seven hundred ice senbon all around him. He knew that if someone was hit with this attack they would be completely leveled. He focused, clearing his mind of any distractions other than this jutsu. He pushed more chakra into the jutsu and kept the image of the ice needles around him. He knew they were forming, but couldn¡¯t hear them forming because of the sound of the rushing water from the waterfall. It was also taking chakra to keep the needles in the air from after the water impacted them. This was a constant drain on him and he realized it wasn¡¯t only the cold draining him. It was the waterfall itself that was draining him, making his life a little bit harder. If he hadn¡¯t been so focused on this jutsu and regulated his chakra he would have probably swore a few times. Regardless of what he would have done, he stayed concentrated and focus on his goal. He was going to try and make nine hundred ice needles this go around.
He looked up and guessed he was probably at eight hundred and a quarter needles. He pushed more chakra into the jutsu thus causing more ice senbon to be created. He knew that he was only one hundred and seventy-five ice needles from reaching the number of one thousand needles. He would have to focus to reach that goal here, he was already feeling the limitations of his chakra. However, he wouldn¡¯t stop until he reached the nine hundred needles number. However, he had to make sure he didn¡¯t pass out. Doing so with so much water and rocks could mean an early and watery grave for Nyustukyi. He put that thought to the back of his head however and began to push more chakra into the area around him. He had to keep this jutsu going and he could risk some thought that might make him stop. He knew he was running the clock down already. What clock? The clock that told him he was almost out of chakra. He had to keep his chakra going, and had to make sure the needles stayed up. He pulled out another wave and looked around. He must have had almost nine hundred needles, he needed to push more chakra. He did so, trying to make sure that none of his chakra was wasted. He had to make sure all his chakra went into something, either needle of keeping them levitated. He watched as the last amount of his chakra made the nine hundredth needle and the stopped and dispelled the jutsu. Then he got down of the rock and walked out from behind the waterfall.
He breathed out and a sign of relief rushed over him as the warmth of the sun hit his body, warming it. He reached the rock shore and sat down on it, and looked at the waterfall. He was almost at the one thousand needle mark. Once past that he would try and test this luck with forming the needles outside the waterfall. Then maybe some target practice? He didn¡¯t really want to think too far ahead of himself. He still had to form the one thousand needles under the waterfall.
