Hirihi turned her gaze to look at him as he spoke, drawing her eyes from the horizon towards the inner city. The bustling people below caught her eye for a brief moment as she listened to his questions. "I'm Hirihi. Rinji Hirihi." She said. Her first response was easy, it was merely her name. Nothing less and nothing more. But, his next questions actually made her think. Made her consider her circumstances a bit differently.
Bringing her hand up to the black flute that laid on her chest, she closed her eyes and thought of her mother. Of what she had done to sacrifice for her, and what her father had done to keep her in the village. Opening her eyes, she tried to keep her eyes blank. "I'm a shinobi because of my father and my mother. My father was not born in this village. He was accepted, though, under the terms that he used his talents for the good of the village. Once they had seen my eyes, they immediately began to discuss putting me in the academy. In return for training me to use my chakra more conservatively, to maintain the constant strain from my eyes, I would become a shinobi to assist the village. Just as my father was." Hirihi said, realizing that she had never really spoken of such things to others outside the family.
As far as her feelings towards the missions that she performed, Hirihi wasn't sure how to respond to it. "I do what the village asks of me... That's about all I can say at this point." Hirihi said. Deciding that she had answered enough without answers for herself, Hirihi began to ask questions of him now. "What about you? What is your name? What drives you to do what you do, as a shinobi of Konoha?" Hirihi asked, turning again to look towards the horizon. To make sure she didn't remain planted in one spot too long, she would pace along the wall to keep an active eye on things below.
