Checkpoint / Village Gates

The distinguished names of the ninja that had last been seen exiting the gate remained locked in the banks of memory. The chuunin would take a look at the AnBu that constantly watched the gates before speaking to the incognito shinobi in an authoritative voice.

"AnBu. Surely you watch these gates and know the names of the shinobi that reside in our village. Can you give me the names and direction of the last ten leaf ninja that exited these very sacred gates?" he questioned knowing that he would soon receive a answer to that he so strongly desired.

Seeing Kaeor appear on the scene, requesting the names of the shinobi who had passed through the gates, the AnBu would nod- The majority of figures that had passed were ones that he knew of within the village itself. "Of course, Sir.

Uchiha, Etsuki.
Kazeraikou, Kosuke.
..Asuna was it? A woman with a cloak who belonged to the group from Kumogakure.
Kitsune, Yumi.
Hanakora, Mala.
Kazeraikou, Natsumi.
The Snow ninja who was sending a message to the Hokage.
Hyuuga, Kenji and..
..Lady Raikage.

With a pause the male would then look back at his leader with the blank eyes that the mask bore, wondering what exactly he was planning to do. "......." Silence would then occur as he'd finish speaking for now, the AnBu's figure dropping silent again as he'd continue to patrol the gates.

With her wings set on her back the Jounin would make here way through the gates. As she closed in on the guard and the Leaf Ninja she would hear him ask about the last people to leave the village. As she walked past them she would look towards the guard. "You can add my name to that list." Nodding her head she would place her hood over her head and spread her wings. "Good day my friends" Flapping her wings she would get a running start and lift herself into the air. Soon she would become a black dot in the distance.

Her bag was packed. Fresh clothes, food, prepared scrolls, tools, pills, medical equipment, her fan, gloves - everything! All of her survival essentials were carried in her back pouches, while her clothing material was kept in a brown shoulder bag, along with the 4ft long fan which was strapped to her back beside it. She looked back at the Village, this would be the last time in several months that she'd see it. Her quest to find these precious summons, was about to begin. She inhaled a mass of air through nose, before facing the road ahead of her , through the many trees and trails which led off to various different locations. She began to walk, even the recent death of Katsumaru didn't hold her back. He had been her teammate, that was true - but he was always rather twisted. Something she couldn't quite handle, his death was probably more of a relief to her than a burden; despite her shock on the matter initially. " Goodbye Konoha, see ya soon! " An adventure awaited her, and it was just about to begin...

Stealthily did I trail my comrade through the village; I stayed true to my AnBu code, even though I'd slid my mask to the side of my head, leaving my visage exposed -- the mask had gotten a little hot. Eventually we ended up at Konoha's gates, where Kaeor began talking to one of the AnBu guards. 'Hmmm, people don't usually socialize with AnBu aside from non-verbal communication ... what's he up to?', I thought.

Only one way to find out.

"Kaeor!", I called, waving briefly before rushing toward him. I stopped a few feet away -- within the normal speaking distance. "What's going on?"

The attention of the figure shifted from the AnBu on duty to that of a Hyuuga that he had met some time ago. In a nonchalant manner he closed the gap that kept the two before inquiring about what was going on. "There seems to be some mishaps of communication between our ninja and Lillian. Most notably Etsuko and Mala in my opinion. I'm not so worried about either of them but it would be helpful to acquire knowledge of where they were off too in such a hurry they couldn't leave a note. A search is in store don'tchu think?" he pondered wondering if the ninja agreed with the rummaging thoughts that were implanted within his cranium.

"Hmmm.", I cooed, mentally tossing around possibilities that were brought on by the fellows words. "Sounds like fun -- guess I'll tag along.", I gave with a nod. Hopefully something interesting would happen; I hated boring trips.

"Lets go. We can start by looking around Hi no Kuni a bit." he reasoned before he dispersed quickly into the village to attain a few items.

It wouldn't be long before he would once more exit the gates with his brethren amonst his company.

Casually, leather armor creaking as she walked and weapons moving slightly in the wind, Miyako would make her way to the village gates. She planned on doing some "private" "training" for a while, outside of the village. She'd be back later, of course, but some of the village's training areas were a little to boring for the moment.

So, not paying any attention to the people around her - although still aware of them, of course - she'd walk outside the gates and into the forest...

Koga and Ichiro would walk through the gates quietly without a word towards Konohagakure. They were with Natsumi and soon to be paid for the recent completion of their mission.

I never really knew that I would be passing through these gates again. I virtually walked through them nearly two days ago. I would glance directly at the AnBu who stood guard and moved my right arm forward to flash him my headband. I then smiled and resumed walking. My mission was located at Tanzaku Gai, but I still needed to wait for Koga and Ichiro to come.

Once I was further away from the gates, I would turn around and approach a tree, if I were to wait for Koga and Ichiro then I might as well make myself comfortable. My eyes searched the faces of each male shinobi as he passed by. I knew Koga wasn't too far from me, and I also knew that when he arrives, I would smile and simply say that now it was my time to wait for him for a change.

Terfezia decided it was a great day to go out herb hunting. Walking towards the gates he would wonder what to look for. Grabing a piece of paper in his pocket the herbalist woudl start to write. He wrote down what he felt like after he and his teammate kitsune had their fight.

i know your are probally stil sour towards me i just want to say im sorry for the pain. I know i deserve your harsh anger but remember i did not have a choice. Im sorry pleaze let the anger vanish and look at the future days full of clearity

Terfezia handed the letter to one of the gate guards. "pleaze give this to kitsune" he would simply say as he passed through the gates. He hoped the girl woudl recieve the letter and forget about revenge.

The ninja would enter for a moment still curious about the whereabouts of the two Leaf nin.

"Beautiful village you have here, Pity I couldn't stay any longer!" Asmire shouted as he ran through the area in the same way he came in with the ANBU, however this time around he wasn't anywhere in sight. Activating his Byakugan while running, he was finally out of sight of the gate. As he quickly, popped out his map and marked down the location of Konohagakure as he exited into Fire country.

As the male arrived at the gates he would notice a female ANBU member crouching next to Ichiro petting him. He quickly realized she was of his mother's family as well. For Ichiro never warmed up so quickly without Koga being around. "Ichiro, quit being such a stud," he'd say with a grin on his face. "Let's go bud, we've got work to do," he'd add in as he got closer, he'd shoot a warm glance towards the ANBU member. "Thanks," nicely put he'd think as he'd make his way through the gate, his headband gleaming with sun light.

Nearing the village gates, her tired legs carrying her briskly, Hirihi entered the village with haste to report back to the Hokage. She'd need to be extending her leave from the village to continue to pursue her next target, as well as get some rest.

She approached the Village gates swiftly. With a big smile on her face. It was really quite refreshing to see Konoha again, after a week of hopeless, exhausting travel - there really was no place like home. She also had business to attend to , informing Lillian of her return, and perhaps forgiving Terfezia for his previous poor deeds. As she walked, she could see an abnormally large amount of eagles swarming around the Village skies. This was almost always suggesting some kind of special event. Though it wasn't always a good one, sometimes it could even suggest the Village was in danger, and she only hoped that wasn't the case.

This began to worry her, and so she began to jog forwards, not choosing to sprint - as the calm postures of the ANBU guards somewhat comforted her worries. As she was almost through the Gates, someone tapped her shoulder. A tall man, with a white and red mask. An ANBU! Kitsuné was rather intimidated by him, ANBU tended to be rather scary people. Interrogation and assasination was some of their specialties, she wasn't a fan of either of them. " Are you one , Miss Kitsuné Yumi? " Kitsuné flashed her medic ID, and nodded. " Uggh. Y-yeh. That'd be me. " he held out his hand, a small note lying in the base of his palm. She could tell from his body language, his hung head, his stiff shoulders. Even ANBU couldn't hide their emotions entirely. This wasn't good. He jumped away, at lightning speed, it was unknown just where he went.

She began walking again, looking down at the note, it was from Terfezia. It entailed:

Kitsuné gave a sympathetic grin, Terfezia , despite his lazy-ass attitude. Was alwas a bit of a softy. Maybe while she was in the Tower visiting Lillian, she could get some info on his whereabouts too. Though, she didwonder about that ANBU guy. Maybe he was just having a bad day? She skipped onwards, proceeding to the Yondaimes Tower.

Kazetora approached the gates, he was homesick, he wanted to get back to his small home and sit back and relax, maybe do some private training of his own. Kazetora walked up to the check-in station, and took out his Shinobi ID, that he’d keep hidden on his body somewhere, and his mission scroll. He then handed both to the ANBU and said “Hello, I am Kazetora Uchiha, returning home from successfully finishing my mission to train the guards of Mo a minimum of one Shinobi Ninjutsu.” Kazetora then waited for the ANBU to look over his information and the scroll, once they confirmed that with their exit list, they handed him his ID and his scroll and the lead ANBU said “Welcome back Kazetora, I hope that you didn’t face any difficulties on your mission.”

Kazetora took his ID and scroll back and gave them both a warm smile and said “I had no problems on my mission, other than findin’ the damn place, but once I found it the mission flew by, the only other problem was the fact that I missed my beloved village, I just hope it didn’t change too much whilst I was gone.” Kazetora then walked past the two guards and went into the village….. Home at last!
