Koorisuberi (Ice Sliding)
Rank: “D”
Skill: Kekkei Genkai - Ninjutsu, Supplementary
Effect: Allows the user to move around on the ground or water as if they were skating on ice. Cuts travel time by half.
Special: “Hand Seals” – Serpent, Dragon, Tiger
Drawback: It is easy to track down anyone who uses this technique anywhere besides an ice terrain.
Description: By manipulating water molecules and chakra underneath their feet, the user slides across the ground or water as if they were skating on ice allowing them to travel much faster then the average shinobi’s running speed with less strain on their muscles. With each step, the area stepped on is covered with some frost.
Limit: Kaishin Bloodlimit. Requires “Water Creation” and “Ice Creation”.

Aiku had just left home and was making his way towards the academy for his last visit, when he decided to stop by the usual spot. He arrived at the fishing pond and Suijin wasn't there today, meaning it was extra quiet, the perfect setting for a training session. Crouching down in front of the water, he extended his arm forward, drawing circles in the water with his fingers.
It's quite a bit of water, so I'll take it slowly. Aisu Soushi.
Gradually, from Aiku's side of the pond, the water began freezing over, in a thin layer, up until about half of the pond's radius. After stepping one foot onto the ice, he came to the conclusion that it wouldn't support his weight just yet, so he crouched back down. Kuri Buki. The ice began to harden to a density that would likely allow Aiku to stand on it, so one foot at a time he stepped onto the ice. He slowly paced toward the edge of the ice and crouched down again to finish freezing the radius of the pond.
This should be enough for practice. Now, to convert the chakra...to my feet.
Aiku closed his eyes and began to direct his chakra towards his feet, creating a steady balance on the ice. Next would be to manipulate the water molecules below his feet, to cause a sort of friction between the two. While maintaining the chakra on his feet, he began to manipulate the molecules to be in sync with his movements. Slowly he began to slide his feet forward one at a time, which seemed to work out fine, except for the fact that he was moving much slower than he expected to be moving.
I should be moving much quicker than I can run. Maybe I'm just approaching the water manipulation wrong.
Changing the direction and speed of the water molecules, Aiku noticed a large difference in the friction between the ice and his feet. He decided to give it one more go, so again he slowly began sliding across the ice. The speed of his sliding increased greatly as he was making a turn around the pond's perimeter, going so fast that before he realized it he had reached the edge of the ice and zipped straight into the water with a big splash. He quickly emerged, shaking the freezing cold water from his hair.
Maybe that's enough training for one day
Feeling accomplished, he left the pond and continued making his way towards the academy.
