Vellenous ventures out upon her own. Though this world is far different from what she is used to. The trees are not as tall as in Rain and in Leaf. The ground seems moist most of the time because of the mist that coats everything. There is also a chill in the air she just isn't accustomed to.
All in all it would perhaps be the least expected location that someone from the Village hidden in the Rain might actually come to. The land is just too far the opposite. And the humidity here is a cool humidity. Almost as if the air can freeze at any moment. According to some of the things that were explained to her by the couple this morning, that land could become far colder at a moment's notice. This alone makes the huntress a bit more alert to what is going on around her.
Her own senses seem a bit pealed and apprehensive as she moves a long. She feels as though if she doesn't pay attention, that she might miss some important detail in weather change. Such as it is, she almost misses some up turned ground and makes herself stop some thirty miles from the Inn.
A careful examination shows hoof marks of various degrees, as if a herb of caribou or deer came through here. She switches her hands to Hell's Ears and closes her eyes, sending her chakra to her ears to listen at the most mute sound that would indicate how far away the prey is. After a few minutes of normal forest/grass land like noises she goes back to her tracking.
On occasion as she follows the over turned earth, she would look around with the skill fierce sights to try and find any signs of the herd so that she may kill a few for her benefactors back at the Inn. Still she follows the herd, heading north.
