[Chuunin Examiner]

Arata Tsuki Izakaya, or New Moon Tavern, is a simple Tavern that has been up and running for the past 100 years. It was the first building that was called New Moon, as compared to Crescent Moon or Full Moon. This Tavern is 3 stories tall and has stone paths all around it, even leading up to it. Trees also surround this Tavern.

The first story has several tables as a well as a full bar. The second story is only like a half story that has some more tables with a large opening that you can look down to see the first story. The third story is simply the housing part of the Tavern for those that work there, as it is a family that runs it. Their prices are the cheapest in town, but they also tend to get the most business, their food having been rated the best in the Capital.

All food items are 50 Ryo each. Water is free, non-alcoholic drinks are 20 Ryo, and Alchoholic drinks are 30 Ryo. They try to keep their prices cheap to accomodate people. They have a few extra rooms that they will rent out for 50 Ryo a night. It doens't give anything more then a bed to sleep in, but it sometimes can be enough for people who cannot afford a hotel room. It is a friendly establishment that gives good food at a great price.

After leaving the hotel, Itsu wonders around for a half hour before finding a tavern and walking in. When he walks in Itsu is surprise that the place was well lighten for a bar, no one seems to notice him or care. He walks to the bar, and looks at the bartender but thinks before he order. He decides to just get a soda since he doesn’t want to have a hangover before the Chuunin exams. “Hey bartender I’ll just take a soda.” The bartender nods and gives him a soda, as Itsu drinks it he notices some sports on tv and begins to watch. As he watches he wonders about getting a partner for the Chuunin exams.

Tyro entered the tavern minutes later after the boy. Truly he didn't know where he was going specifically, but he did know that the outside look to the tavern was the nicest outside. It didn't seem harmful, even as he entered. He entered though with nothing in mind towards food. Instead, he had focused on a place that could be mostly quiet, but he wouldn't be alone.

He entered to the tables and bar environment, and took a random seat. It was clear he was a ninja, just by the strange outfit. He wasn't sure if he was being stared at, but didn't care regardless. He took a seat and looked up at the television, seeing some kind of sport that he wasn't interested in. Not because it wasn't interesting, just because he more focused on the Exams.

The flamboyant predator entered the tavern, ready to see some new faces.

There was another fellow Leaf Ninja which made him smile. It was good to see that of your own Village here.

Orbs of gentleness searched for a seat as he sat two seats away from a different village ninja. (Itsu.) Well here's a start.

The boy would smile to the bartender. "I'll have what he's having." Kagetora nodded to the ninja. "And put his on my tab too." Such a sweet offer, surely he would not take Kagetora as an enemy.

"Excited? Scared? Nervous?" Kagetora asked the other, before setting Ryo on the bar to pay for the drinks.

He glanced back at the other Leaf ninja to invite him over to the bar.

[Itsu Iko]

As Itsu sits enjoying his drink, he notices out of the corner of his eye a boy taking a seat at the bar. The boy is sitting two seats away from Itsu, who doesn’t really take notice of the boy until he orders the same thing as Itsu and pays for Itsu’s drink as well.

Itsu never passes up a free drink and turns his head finally getting a good look at the boy and notices that he is a ninja as well but from a different village. Itsu nods to the ninja “Thanks for the drink buddy.”

The boy then ask "Excited? Scared? Nervous?" At first Itsu doesn’t know what the boy is talking about but he quickly figures out that the boy is referring to the Chunnin exams. He nods to the boy “All of the above, this is my first time.” Itsu continues to drink his soda “My name is Itsu, how about you?”

I'd walk into the tavern, I casually walked to the bar in order to watch the people there... if taverns where good for anything it was making instant enjoyment when coupled with a good prank or two. I was bored and wanted to pull a prank, what better place than a room full of drunks? While I thought about what I was going to do I spoke to the bar keeper. "Hey, give me something sweet to drink." I was expecting soda or something of the sort, handing the bartender the amount of money he asked as I took the large glass and drank a large amount of the drink in a single gulp.

As I thought about pulling a prank and finished my first large drink of alchoholic liquid, I stopped and licked my lips; I'd never before had this drink, it was increadibly sweet and oddly relaxing. "Hey, that tastes pretty good." My mind was lost in the haze of the sweet tasting drink.

It was only then that I noticed another ninja, sitting alone and staring at a screen (Tyro.) It was a Leaf ninja and there was no doubt that he was here for the Chuunin Exams. I swallowed the final bit of the drink and nearly dropped the glass as I set it down on the edge of the bar table; I then began to nearly stagger toward the young ninja as I walked forward. "Hey Little Leaf Ninja!
*Arf!* You're Here For The Chuunin Exams Like Me Right?" I'd reach forward and attempt to mess up the boy's strange hair with my righ hand, something deep within me wanted to touch it. You Look Bored Over Here Sitting Alone, I Bet You Won't Be Bored Once The Exams Start Though! *Arf!*" I could tell something was different, something wasn't right... but what was it?

Tyro would stare at the screen, lost in his thoughts. The combination made it look as though he was actually absorbed in the program, but it was more just a distraction that happened to be around. He'd notice the two other ninja that entered, subconsciously. The first(Kagetora) talking to another person he assumed was a ninja, and the second(Kiyoshi) having a drink enthusiastically.

His attention was fully given once he saw the blonde ninja coming in his direction. His head darted in the older boy's direction. Though he meant no harm, Tyro was always one to fear the worst. After all he was in his natural habitat, a bar where he had learned a good majority of his fighting skill.

"Hey Little Leaf Ninja!*Arf!* You're Here For The Chuunin Exams Like Me Right?"

He didn't like the idea of being called 'little' even though he knew it was true. His eyes squinted in suspicion at that. Then he saw two things at once. The first being that the other ninja waved him over, inviting a seat, and after seeing the boy's leaf headband Tyro had some confidence in him. The second was that the blonde ninja's hand was coming toward him. Instinctively, Tyro raised his own right hand and using his wrist moved the boy's hand to his right. Then he stood, even if it wasn't a very impressive sight, while saying, "I never told you to touch me". Not offensively, just stating the fact.

He'd end the small episode by walking towards Kagetora, and taking a seat next to him, putting him between Itsu and Kagetora.

The rain ninja entered the bar and walked up to the counter, the barman came over to him 'What'll it be mate?' he said, his tone friendly and professional.
Zag glared silently at the barmen for a while before saying 'I'd like a double entendré, can you give me one?'
The barmen knew the joke 'Yeah i can give you one.'
'Good, i really need one.'
'You want one now?'
'Yes, give it to me now.'
'How do you want it?'
'Tall and foamy.'
The barmen had a short chuckle 'Ok so what do you want?'
'Just water if it's free, i'm not into paying for drinks i can usually get by sticking my head out a window.' replied Zag with a small grin brought on by the annoyed expression that was now set on the barman's face as he went to fetch a glass of water, when he'd gotten his drink Zag muttered 'Ta mate.' then headed off, trying to suppress the urge to laugh at the poor barman right in his face, instead waiting until he gotten a seat first then have a good chortle.

He picked a little out of the way part of the tavern near the first stories corner, not sitting too close to be directly obliged to talk to anyone, from there he just sat and had a captain at the other ninja there, he couldn't guess what village they were from, but they definitely weren't from his, the sudden realization that he had to do these exams alone dawned on him, but he shrugged away the thoughts, its not like his chances of succeeding were that great whether he had a partner or team with him or not, but for now he just decided to sit a while and watch the other ninja do.... whatever the bloody hell they do in bars.

The little Leaf ninja would glare towards me, it seems that the kid didn't enjoy my company, he would knock away my hand and reply to me. "I never told you to touch me." He would then simply walk away, towards the other two ninja who where already talking... wait... where they there before? Meh, they must have walked in just a moment ago or somthing...

'Oh yesh! I'd almost forgotten about pulling a prank!' I looked around, I needed something that would affect all the people without them being able to notice that I was the person who'd done it. "That's perfect! *Arf!*" I'd yell out loud, then notice my mistake... 'oh wait... I just yelled that out...' I'd sneak clumsily into the corner, forming handsigns and barely managing to focus long enough to gather my chakra for a simple technique. 'This'll be the ultimate prank!!! Ha!' With that I would focus my Genjutsu upon every single drink and food item I could notice within the area around me, every cup full of liquid, every plate of food, and every barrel of drink not yet served.

And with that, the taste, smell, and even sight of the food and drink would change. Even though I would attempt to make every drink disgusting, I couldn't focus long and would accidentally change about a third of the items into the most amazing items that the person eating or drinking them would have ever tasted. About another even amount would remain unaffected, the Genjutsu slipping through my focus before it finished.

I wouldn't notice the slip up, my mind blurred and I had a sudden headache. I'd ignore the pain and sit in a booth, watching as the 'mayham' would insue. In my blurred mind, this was teh greatest prank ever.

Kagetora smiled at how his kindly gesture just made him a friend. "Anytime." He wlecomed him about the drink. "Kazumane Kagetora." He also added his name.

So it was Itsu's first time too? Kagetora nodded. "Same, I meant to go to the previous ones but something came up. But this time I'm here. We're both here." He chuckled as he watched more people come into the Tavern.

A dispute happened between a Leaf Ninja and what seem to be of another village. Then the Leaf one came over between Kagetora and Itsu.

"Hey there," he would greet his fellow village Ninja. "A soda for this one here." Kagetora tossed up some more Ryo with a smile. Unfortunately not catching the Genjutsu, the cup, unless noticed by someone else, would be filled with something nasty tasting.

"This is Itsu." He introduced the two but did not know that of the Leaf Ninja's name. "I'm sorry, I never got your name." He asked the Leafer's name taking a sip of his drink.

With an instant, Kagetora spat it behind him. "Sir, what is this made of?" Kagetora asked the bartender with a horrified look.

Depending on the source of the information, Hiromasa was but a stoic young man - nothing sinister at all, if a bit dry and dour. Another would say he was naught but maliciousness bottled in human form, branded with a boyish face and thrust upon the world solely to cause destruction. True, he felt that chaos sustained him, but above all else he was a lax child, rarely allowing emotion to overrule his cold logic. As he entered into the New Moon Tavern, however, arms folded languorously across his chest, the emotion of annoyance ruled him, driving his speech even as it was delivered to the crowd amassed in the bar.

"All of you hopeful chuunins... I suggest you stay out of my way, less you want to become familiar with the darkness of death. None of you need die - just stay out of my way." His voice was laced with the oppressive energy of his heavy aura.

Myriam entered the tavern with confidence, in her current form the person she was looking for would never recognize her, yet it was better that way. She recognized the Genin at the counter, his name was Itsu Iko, he had been a Genin serving under her when she had been the reigning Tsuchikage. The blond kunoichi walked towards Itsu, her feet made almost no sound, yet she was not trying to move stealthily, she knew that her attention could attract the attention of some people considering she seemed to be one of the only females in the bar.

The medic installed herself beside Itsu. ''Itsu, my name is Mimi. I have been sent by the Godaime Tsuchikage to be your teammate, it seems that our former Kage has confidence in you, considering I'm quite the talented kunoichi to be paired with.'' She said. Myriam was not even going to reveal her real identity to her teammate, there was no time to explain the whole story, and even then, could she truly trust him? She would need to see if he could prove himself.

[Itsu Iko]

Luckily Itsu manages to finish his drink before the genjutsu is cast into the air. He continues to sit quietly at the bar watching and listening all that is happening in the bar. He is suddenly surprised by a lady silently appearing besides Itsu, he takes a good look at her and is dumbfounded by her beauty. He listens as she introduces herself in Mimi and was apparently sent by the Godaime Tsuchikage to be his teammate. She also comments that the former Kage must have confidence in him, since Mimi is considered a talented kunoichi.

After a couple second Itsu remains silent still in awe of the Mimi’s beauty but shakes his head and get up, “Well its nice to meet you Mimi and it will be a pleasure to team with such a beautiful kunoichi.” Itsu then mentally kicks himself for saying something so stupid and tries to move on. “So anyways do you want a drink or would you rather get out of here, and get ready for the exams?” Itsu doesn’t know why but he seems to know Mimi even though he never met her before and he feels relaxed around her.

"Jeez Hiro. You ain't have to hit them with the Agent Death thing."

In all swiftness, Ikiri would be appearing behind the leader of this duo, looking around the tavern. Ninja's and type idiots. As opposed to his partner, this half was more emotionally connect to his work. Someone who deserved to die, would die. And in his eyes, all ninja in this room could take the L at this very moment. But then again, they could all have ambitions to join with a stronger village. One of Bloody Mist-- but his mind would digress. Standing behind his white haired ally, Ikiri would think over these ninja's weaknesses.

"You want to stay here?"

Myriam needed to ignore the voices of her dead brothers, especially the one of Yahiko almost screaming in her head. Two days ago she had been in the psychiatric wing of the hospital that held her name, and now she was attending the Chuunin Exams three countries away from Iwagakure? Life was full of surprises, she truly wasn't the shy medic that had joined Team Kurenai more than a year ago. She got up to her feet, for a brief moment she even rubbed her fingers against her forehead as she closed her eyes, hoping that the voices would lessen, they did not.

''Itsu, this is serious, these are the Chuunin exams... I will be getting myself a room in the hotel, you should come, I need to know exactly where you are power-wise.'' 'Mimi' said as she turned around and headed out of the tavern, she was not the type to converse in such an area, especially not in a place where everyone could hear them.

[Itsu Iko]

Itsu waits for Mimi’s answer but before she gives it to him she gets up and rubbed her fingers against her forehead and closes her eyes. He wonder if she has a headache having no clue she was in a psychiatric hospital. Mimi then gives Itsu her answer Itsu, this is serious, these are the Chuunin exams... I will be getting myself a room in the hotel, you should come, I need to know exactly where you are power-wise.'' Itsu can tell that Mimi’s serious and Itsu’s mind set goes to serious as well.

Itsu clears his throat “Alright sounds like a good idea to me, I already have a room at the hotel so I know where it is.” Itsu follows Mimi to the door of the tavern forgetting about everyone else at in it.

"... no. There is nothing here for me." So Ikiri had arrived. Good.

Without a backward glance Hiromasa exited the bar, his feet carrying him where his eyes led him. There was naught to do for a very good while... hopefully the shinobi present would heed his warning, else many of them, come the following days, will have joined the 'dearly departed'.

Tyro made sure that the boy would not follow him to his seat in some way to draw out what could have been a conflict, and once he did, his attention to the boy diminished to low levels. He'd then address Kagetora, who introduced him to Itsu. Then when asked his own name, Tyro would say "Tyro" only, choosing to keep his last name out. Names had power.

Then he would notice the darker emotion man come into the tavern with threats to stay out of his way. Tyro turned his head dead on to the man, then took two low laughs and turned away. He was not intimidated. Some female entered the tavern as well, sitting next to Itsu, but Tyro payed little attention as they talked. Eavesdropping was never his style, but he could hear most every word they spoke since they were not exactly low.

Here he would turn to the drink Kagetora had bought. It was a soda, poured into a nice heavy beer mug. He only sipped it, not quite expecting much until the drink reached his taste buds. It was...very well made in the least, but he wouldn't exaggerate over it, just raise an eyebrow at the peculiarly flavorful drink.
