Shouran was in the process of reaching his goal of attending the chuunin exams, but he didn’t have much time left. With an air of anticipation buzzing around him, he walked to the small lake that the man used for fishing. The bees within his body buzzed with anxiety. Quelling their uneasiness the best he could, his footsteps changed sounds from the scratches of dirt to a steady clunk of walking onto the wooden peir. Waving towards the man out on his boat, the elder man slowly rowed over to pick up his assistant.
Stepping onto the shaky boat, a few bees attempted to escape though his shirt, though their master wouldn’t allow it. Taking a few seconds to sedate the ornery insects, the Kusagakure genin finally introduced himself. “Hello. Im Kamizuru Shouran, here to help you in your fishing endeavors.” Met only with a blank and unimpressed stare, the man finally scoffed at the help he had been sent by the Kusakage. “What is wrong with that woman. I asked for a helper, not some greenhorn who cant even step onto a boat without feeling ill.”
An excuse stood on the tip of his tongue, but he had a feeling this old warrior wasn’t the type to listen to medical reasons why water made him uneasy. “I apologize for that. It seem I don’t have my sea legs het.” A nervous smile stretched across his mouth and a hand found itself on the back of his head. “Heh. . . “ Smirked the man, almost completely writing off the young man. However, the Kamizuru was ready to impress the man with a few simple jutsu.
