A new had risen over the peaceful Land Of Sound once again. Another opportunity for Maisho to to train. Today he would try a simple technique, but useful nonetheless. It was the Hypnotic Pattern Jutsu. Simply put, this jutsu is used to make the person used on..Hypnotized.
For his next jutsu he was going to train,Maisho decided not endanger the pleasant villagers of the Sound Village. He went out to try this new technique on the animals of the forest in the north of the village. He thought,"What possible harm can come from hypnotizing a few small animals?". He made his way deep into the heart of the forest. He had been frequenting the forest, and had thought of it as his own little training ground when he worked on certain Tai or Nin Justus.
He had ventured to a small pond where he found had seen a few deers and rabbits drinking from. He made sure to walk slowly but efficiently as to not frighten the small animals. There was one rabbit who had just got to the pond and started taking in small little drinks from the lake. Whenever the small animal went to take another sip, Maisho quietly made his way one foot,by one foot.
When he was a good 25 feet away from the small animal, Maisho prepared himself to use the Genjutsu on the small target. He silently made his handsigns, cautious to not make any loud rustling sounds. When Maisho had completed all the necessary handsigns, he keep full concentration on the rabbit. He thought that when you stare at a person long enough, they get the feeling that someone was watching them. Maisho thought this might work on the rabbit. A few minutes of staring intently at the rabbit, and it just stayed there drinking from the pond.
Maisho thought this wasn't going anywhere so he,making sure to keep total concentration on the rabbit,he quickly took a step on a nearby twig on the ground to get the attention of the rabbit. Just as Maisho thought, the rabbit looked at Maisho, but it never stopped looking at him. The rabbit never looked away, on the contrary the rabbit started hopping his way towards Maisho. It was then that Maisho knew that his jutsu was working and that the rabbit was studying the jutsu intently. It just sat there, right in front of Maisho and just stared, and stared, and stared.
Now it was time to step it up a bit. Maisho slowly made his way backwards, away from the rabbit to see if it would follow him. Surely enough it did and it continued to follow Maisho as he made his way into the forest. Maisho's plan was to see how many animals he could get to follow him as he made his way deeper and deeper in the forest.
It took Alot of concentration on his part, even the slightest distraction and his furry friends would hop on out of this 5 minute friendship. Maisho was still moving quietly, and slower then when he had arrived as to make sure to keep all of his attention on the jutsu. Once he had found a small deer eating a few berries off a bush,Maisho slowly creeped in and made the handsigns again. The deer was alarmed by Maisho appearing, and was about to dash away but as soon as the deer gazed on the Pattern created by the Justu it had absolutely no chance of escape now.
So now, following Maisho was a small rabbit hopping along, and a child deer following around him staring so intently at the Imaginary pattern.
