Meeting New Faces (Team Meeting)

[Uchiha Satoshi]

It had been some time since Satoshi had met up with any comrades in arms. In fact, the last time he was assigned to a team was for Team Delta to go on a mission in order to escort a hit pop-culture band on their tour. Since then, the Uchiha genin has been reassigned to another team he had dubbed Team Shizukakage due to him being placed as the squad leader. Already he had sent messages to his two teammates with a time and place for their first official team meeting.

It would be at 2:00 PM this very day.

Already Satoshi is at the village square sitting on a bench, awaiting his underlings. One he already knows from Team Delta and that would be Riou Lyn. He and the girl had kind of a friendship started where he had taken a liking to the teenager for reasons that are unto himself. The other he knows to be named Kikkawa Miki, but he had not met her yet. He only knows vague, generalized information about her from the shinobi records when the team had been assigned.

As usual, he is wearing his navy blue shozoku with matching sitabaki over a meshed harness around his chest and upper legs. Around his waist is a katana he dubbed 'Hagun' held by a deep, blood red sash. Along his forearms are navy blue ashigaru with two long ribbons. One is powdered blue and is around his left hand, given to him by his deceased lover. The other is a rich scarlet around his right hand and that was given to him by his deceased sister.

For right now, he waits.

Lyn's thoughts were all a mess, and today of all days. She had taken a shower to help her sort through things, she wasn't sure what she would do in the current situation. She really wished that she had her mother to discuss this stuff with, because this was something that mothers were suppose to talk to their daughters about. She stepped out of the shower, not having felt any better, unfortunately water only washed away dirt not problems. Today was a day she'd been excited about but also dreading, because of who was involved. She picked out her dark blue sleeveless top and put on a black skirt. Then she put black high-tops on. She then fixed her make up in the mirror, she wanted to be perfect for today. She then got out her straightener, which had been charging during her shower.

She ran her hair through the straightener's hot arms, which commanded her hair to remain perfectly flat. She went over to her bed and sat down, her guitar was packed on her bed next to her. On her other side sat her gloves. She pulled the gloves onto her hand, tightened them, and then secured them. She felt an odd sensation as her fingers were free but her palms were covered by the thick material. She sighed, she still was in a state of dilemma. She had two choices, but she didn't know which to go with. She found herself still longing for her mother, then it came to her. Her mother was only a short walk away, right in her backyard actually. She ran out to the shrines in her back yard, mainly the one of her mother. She knelt and said a small prayer in silence. After she was done she got down to business by saying "Hi mom, I have a question for you... I'm joining a new squad today and Satoshi is the leader.... Yeah Satoshi is the one I was telling you about, he's the one that I really like... Well if he leads the squad I don't want it to get weird, epically with another girl being in the squad... You want me to follow my heart? I'll listen to you then, thanks mom. Bye now!"

Lyn then ran off to her bedroom and grabbed the blue guitar out of its case, the one Satoshi gave her. She put a silver strap around it and then put it around her neck. She placed a *micro amplifier in and then she was off. She was playing a fun tune that was appreciated by everyone around her. Finally from a distance she could see Satoshi standing there waiting. Lyn lost sight of what she was doing and picked up her pace to get to where he was. When she was about just to his location she began saying "Hello squad leader! Riou Lyn-" At that she tripped over something, she quickly moved her guitar around so it was sitting on her back and wouldn't get damaged. Unfortunately she performed a face plant directly on the ground. Her face still on the ground she finished saying "Riou Lyn, reporting for duty.. Ow" Lyn was then thoroughly embarrassed and wanted to crawl in a whole and proceed to stab herself.

*Micro amplifier-Long amp about the size of a pencil. It has a connector sticking out of it, allowing the user to play electric guitar while walking.

[Uchiha Satoshi]

The soothing melodies and rhythms ring through the air and into Satoshi's hearing. Such familiar chords and notes immediately tell him that his little friend Lyn is nearby and most likely enroute to rendevous with him for the designated team meeting he had called. However, he doesn't see her nor know where she is arriving from until he hears her speak behind him.

He turns to look at the young girl just as she begins to fall. With such grace, agility, and alacrity the elder squad leader would move and bend in order to catch the teenage girl. Into his strong arms would she fall and be held firmly to keep her from hitting the ground and damaging herself or her guitar that Satoshi himself had purchased for her as a gift.

"Are you alright?" he would ask, looking down at her and noticing how she had prepared herself for a meeting. Her hair is fashioned, make-up decorates her face, and her skin soft and clean. Obviously Lyn cared enough for the team to make sure she is decent enough to present herself like this.

Satoshi would hoist the girl upright and return her to her feet while awaiting her response.

She felt a pair of strong arms grab her and hoist her up before she hit the ground, this was truly embarrassing. Her slightly tan face had turned beat red and she was really nervous. Partly because of the fall, and another part had to do with being held by Satoshi. She quickly took her hands and fixed her hair, which was now messed up from the fall. She sighed; she couldn’t believe that she was already embarrassing herself. She looked up and saw that Satoshi was looking at her like he was looking for a response to something. Lyn realized that he probably asked her something like, are you okay or did you hurt yourself. She looked at him and smiled and said “I’m fine, just clumsy. Thanks for the save, I didn’t know you were that fast. We have to train together some time.” She then smiled again.

Lyn was killing herself in her mind because she couldn’t believe how stupid so could have been. She defiantly just asked him out, on the lamest first date ever. It was so lame that he wouldn’t even know it was a date. She stopped herself in her head and said to herself ‘Lyn what are you doing? You never let a guy make you awkward before, just relax. Be yourself.’ Lyn walked over to a near by bench and sat down, leaving a seat for Satoshi next to her. Lyn began to think of their other teammate, she knew nothing about her except that she was a girl. Lyn looked at Satoshi and said “So do you know anything about this other girl we will be working with?” Lyn hadn’t even read the girls file so she didn’t know her name or what he prior experience was. Lyn hoped that she was talented but not more so than her. Lyn would hate to be the weakest on the team. She looked at Satoshi and waited for his response.

The man listens to his teammate's response, confirming that she is uninjured despite being embarrassed. He would also feel a strange sensation as his lips tighten into a smile, something that really only happens when Lyn is around.

"I don't believe you are clumsy or uncoordinated at all Lyn. I regret not informing you when we first met about the full extent of my abilities. Of course we shall train together, but that will come later," he replies to the young lady as he sits beside her. Naturally out of instinct or perhaps some other state of subconsciousness, Satoshi's arm slides around to embrace Lyn. "The only thing I know about our other partner is her name being Kikkawa Miki. Other than that, only general information is what I was given. Anything more specific is considered classified."

He looks up into the sky for a moment, pausing just enough for a little dramatic profile for Lyn.

"We'll give the woman a few more minutes before we leave. I had planned on taking the team out for lunch, my treat of course. If she doesn't show I guess we're going to have a lunch date."

Lyn watched as her team mate sat down next to her, she was glad that she wouldn't be awkward anymore. She took a breath and relaxed, and then looked at him as he talked. She blushed slightly at the comments being given to her. She then noticed that Satoshi was smiling, something that he had never frequently done. Lyn thought that he had a nice smile. She even slightly liked that they were infrequent because that made them more special. She began speaking and said "Thank you and it's not something to apologize for, I need to find out your powers on my own." She then let him finish speaking of their other teammate. Though he had very little information about her, her name gave enough away. Kikkawa, a clan that she had heard of. Though the name was on her mind she couldn't seem to think of what the clan specifically did.

She looked at Satoshi looking into the sky, she wondered what went on inside that head of his. He truly was a mystery that she couldn't seem to solve. She then heard him make an offer for lunch, Lyn smiled and then realized that she was going to embarrass herself. No matter how much she tried she always ate to much at a meal, but she still wanted to go so she smiled at him and said. "You don't need to pay, we'll split the bill. I'm sort of a pig when it comes to food, so it wouldn't be fair to put the bill all on you. Though it is a shame that the other girl couldn't make it." She then closed her eyes and took a deep breath. This was truly a lovely day. The air was smelling of lavender and the birds were chirping, it was the kind to make you just love being alive.

[Uchiha Satoshi]

"I appreicate your offer to help pay for the bill m'dear, but I duly insist that I pay the entirety as it is my offer to you and it would dishonor me to have a lady pay for herself when I am perfectly capable of doing so."

Satoshi looks down at the girl, noticing at just how lovely she really is. What he likes the most about her is a tough call to make as he believes her eyes are like two glimmering jewels, but her selfless and innocent personality is mildly intoxicating to him. It had been ages since he had any sort of innocence associated with him since he was pressed into slavery, exiled from his family, and had been a killer for as long as he can remember. To have such a dove with this raven is like night and day, but the symbolic meanings are indeed precious.

He would remove his arm from around Lyn and take her by her left hand, pulling her up gently from the bench and taking her arm into his.

"Come. Let's go for a stroll and talk. Apparently Miki is not going to be attending."

Lyn smiled as Satoshi took her arm. She saw no point in arguing with him over the bill, she could tell he was intent to pay. She stood up in his arm and smiled at him, though it was a sin about their other team member, Mimi. Though Lyn was slightly happy because this mean that she got more one on one time with Satoshi. She didn't mind walking today, it was so nice out and the breezes were blowing very well. Lyn walked along with Satoshi and she began speaking to him directly by saying "So what do you think about this years chunin exams. Do you think we should go?" She had been thinking about the exams for awhile, she was close to having what she needed to apply, she just needed a few more missions on her record.

"I mean we're both really qualified, and you have the mission requirement. I just need a few more lower ranked missions. I think we can do it." She looked at him, she wanted to know how he felt about it. She knew that she wanted to go to the exams but right now it looked like it would just be them two, leaving them at a disadvantage to the other teams of three and four. it was up to Satoshi in her mind because of his rank as team leader.

[Uchiha Satoshi]

"So you wish to go to the Chuunin Exams? I have to admit that is quite an aspiration as only the most qualified and talented shinobi survive those trials, let alone be promoted. I trust you know several people die each year at those Exams, correct?" he asks Lyn as they walk casually down the village street. He is guiding her to a curbside restaurant that serves divine seafood dishes. Looking down at his companion, then looking back up into the empty sky, Satoshi weighs the situation thoroughly.

"Yes, I have to admit I'd like to take a shot at the Chuunin Exams, but I also have to admit I had never attended them before so I cannot answer your questions very well. I believe that for us to succeed as a team we need to train hard and diligently in team tactics, formations, and somehow acquire techniques to be used as our trump cards. I myself have the Sharingan as well as Gyakusatsu training. However, even with those skills it may not be enough to survive. Just based on rumors I've heard the Exams test you in every way imaginable in the most brutal way. It is literally live or die."

He cuts off his thoughts as they reach the diner. Satoshi guides Lyn into the restaurant by escorting her through the draping curtains and sitting her down at the nearest table. It is a glass tabletop with lilac flowers decorating the center. The tables are underneath long, flowing canopies so they are shaded and kept pleasently cool while still dining outside. He doesn't even bother looking at the menu and waits for a moment, collecting his thoughts.

"If we are to better our chances at success I think we need to obtain higher levels of power that most other combatants would not have. I have heard about techniques that allow specialized shinobi the ability to summon various creatures from another world to aid them in combat. If we can unlock these secrets and obtain our own summoning contracts, I think we can crush the competition."

Lyn listened and looked at Satoshi's facial expressions and verbal response to her offer for the chunin exams. She saw a look on surprise Satoshi's face. He told her about the amount of people that died in each exam, she knew but she still wanted to try. Lyn wanted to go, maybe to prove something to herself but all she knew was that she wanted to go. She took a breath and then responded "I know that there are many casualties within the exams tests. I still want to go though, were strong enough together. Even if we don't succeed, maybe we could just grow as ninja." Lyn smiled, she had confidence in her ability to win and survive. She then saw a small curbside restaurant, she could smell some delicious tasting see food. She smiled, this was a really nice thing Satoshi was doing.

She listened to Satoshi talk of what type of training they would need to do before the exams would start, such as team building and powerful jutsu to be their trump card. Lyn began speaking when he was finished "Well I haven't heard much of the exams at all but I have heard that their rigorous. As far as my training goes all I have are my medical jutsu, which won't get me very far. I also have some experience in a medical fighting style called Will of Kratos. Though I'm going to need some jutsu to really help me fight off enemy's. Maybe we could learn from each other, I know you have a lot of experience in taijutsu and ninjutsu, and I have a lot of knowledge of the body and critical points. I really think that with our powers together we will do well in the tests and I have no doubt we will survive."

They reached the restaurant and Lyn sat down at one of the tables underneath the canopies. The table was beautiful and had flowers in the middle, Lyn always loved flowers. She often decorated her home with them. Lyn then heard Satoshi speak of a summoning jutsu, her eyes shot open. She had heard of such jutsu not to long ago, in fact just the other day. Lyn smiled at him and said "I've heard of those jutsu before, I saw a scroll for one the other day. I was in the hospital, in the scroll archives, and I found an odd scroll that depicted the summoning of Forest scorpions. I didn't understand but I know exactly where the scroll is. I think that this sounds like a plan." She was smiling, she was really going to do this.

It would appear to Satoshi that Lyn has somewhat of a self-esteem complex as she thinks her skills are sub-par and not as talented as somebody else. She could simply be modest, or something more. The fact that she is a medic is a very valuable asset to any team, especially for somebody who specializes in Taijutsu.

"Lyn, your skills are extremely precious as very few people possess the necessary skill to become a medical ninja. I find it very comforting knowing that if somebody gets wounded we have immediate treatment to avoid serious injuries or even death. Continue to grow in your field and I'm sure you'll become the finest ninja in Kusagakure."

Before Satoshi can say anything further, the waiter walks up to the table. He is a short, wiry man with large glasses but obviously high class due to his uniform and confident stride. He waves in acknowledgement to Satoshi who is a frequent customer. As usual, he wears a uniform that very closely resembles a tuxedo with a small, waistcloth that acts as an apron around his lower waist.

"Welcome to our fine restaurant, Kusa shinobi. The usual, Satoshi-san?" the waiter would ask. In response, Satoshi shakes his head, already knowing what he would like to feast upon.

"No, sir. Today I would like a dish of tendon (rice and fried fish), a bowl of kurabu (buttered crab), and a side of ohitashi (steamed vegetables). For a beverage I would like a bottle of wainreddo (red wine) for the lady and myself."

The waiter would quickly scribble Satoshi's order upon his notepad, nodding the whole time as he already knows what dishes the Uchiha desires to eat. He would look to Lyn and peer closely at her, not recognizing her but smiles nevertheless.

"And for you young lady?"

While Lyn would place her order, Satoshi would lower his gaze to fall upon the center of the tabletop, deep in thought. He is debating and contemplating telling Lyn the near-full extent of his abilities, and possiblly even demonstrating some of them. It could prove adventageous to show his companion so she is able to understand correctly.

Lyn smiled as Satoshi spoke of how valuable her skills were. She really appreciated the compliment. Lyn blushed a little as Satoshi said that she could become one of the finest in Kusagakure. She blushed, she really liked how Satoshi could find merit and value where Lyn couldn't, it was something she admired. He was cut off by the waiter coming up and requesting their orders. Lyn smiled, he was know at this restaurant very well, Lyn could tell. Lyn wondered how Satoshi could afford to be a regular here, it was obviously up scale. She wondered if he had money put away, he seemed that he would do something very smart and sensible like that. Lyn liked sensibility but Satoshi also had a way of having a good time as well. Lyn saw the waiter turn to her and he asked her what she wanted and she quickly picked up the menu. She wasn't ready just yet but she needed to hurry. She quickly began looking at everything, she loved seafood So it was a difficult choice.

Lyn took near three minutes until she finally smiled at the man and said "Very sorry about taking so long. I would like to have the shurinpu (Shrimp), a bowl of kurabu, and a side of-" She was cut off as Mark and Lisa appeared on her shoulders. Mark and Lisa, her mind divided into two sides, they made an appearance every now and then. Lyn could often be seen in public talking to herself because she was speaking with them. Mark began saying "Get the furesshu kinomi (fresh fruit), it's good and inexpensive." Where as Lisa was saying things like "Get the ohitashi it will show you two have things in common. He'll really like it." Lyn was getting aggravated of hearing them and put her hand down on her right shoulder, crushing Lisa. Mark won the argument, he began dancing on her left shoulder then disappeared with a poof. Lyn continued. "Sorry about that I would like a side of furesshu kinomi. Thanks" Lyn had decided to side with Mark because Lyn thought that she had nothing to prove to Satoshi. She thought that if he liked her, he would like her for what she liked, even if it wasn't exactly what he liked. Lyn smiled than noticed that the waiter was slightly angry as he walked away, but she didn't really care because there wasn't much she could do.

Lyn looked over and saw Satoshi looking down at the table, she glanced at him "Are you Ok?" she asked. She wondered what he was thinking.

Time seemed to slow to a crawl and reality slip away momentarily while Lyn placed her order. The whole time Satoshi was contemplating his demonstration of skills, and he decided he would do so after their meal. For now, he wants to get to know the girl a little better. After she ordered, Satoshi's attention would snap back to the present and he would flick his eyes to meet Lyn's.

"I apologize. I must have spaced out. Yes, I am quite alright. I was just thinking. In fact, I wish to know more about you, your family life, hobbies, talents, anything you feel comfortable disclosing to me. In return I shall do the same for you."

Of course, Satoshi could already draw up some of his own conclusions about Lyn. Based solely upon what he has observed of her so far she seems to be a little bit of a typical teenage girl in the sense she has her favorite hit music bands, includes music as a large stable in her life, and flutters in the presence of some men. Already he has seen some of the latter when they are in company together, and it really doesn't bother him. In fact he enjoys the infatuation she has with him. It would also seem that Lyn has a deep passion in her heart about healing and treating those who need it. However, that is obvious from her skills as a medical shinobi. Perhaps in their future training session he can bring out the girl's more latent potential and teach her some new skills.

[Raiel Kaguya]

A soft sigh escaped Raiel. Her brother just seemed to be getting worse and nothing seemed to be going well. She expected her brother would not be alive for much longer. The toxins of the Kaguya clan were getting to him, and they weren't going away. It seemed that he was going to pass on. Not caring to take care for it much longer, Raiel let Ronee the Jaguar go off to another family who could care for it much more.

However... In regards to her ninja life, she had received a notice just a moment ago about joining a team. Apparently under an Satoshi Uchiha. She had never met them, but knew well who the Uchiha were. If it was one of those snobby little Uchiha who activate their sharingan at every chance they got just to show off, Raiel would probably deliver a hidden blade to his face.

A soft sigh escaped Raiel once more as she heard her stomach rumble a little. Stepping into a nearby restaurant, she looked around. She doubted that the supposed leader of her team was going to be here, but she took a seat. A waitress came up to her and asked her order. "A simple order of noodles with your special sauce... Thats all..." The waitress wrote it down as Raiel looked at the table. "Satoshi Uchiha... Satoshi.... Where could he be......" She said outloud, her table being near that of where her leader actually was at.

Lyn saw Satoshi snap back into the present, she smiled at him, he must have been in some very deep thought. He told her that he was alright but what followed surprised Lyn slightly. He wanted to know about her, she swallowed. No one knew about her past, she was in this village because of an old family friend, not even the village elders knew of her dark past. She did feel comfortable enough to tell Satoshi about what he wanted to know, she frowned slightly and then she looked at him, her frown disappearing. She began speaking "Well if you've got time you can hear my story.." She swallowed hard, every memory from her past was flashing in her mind. "I was born in the snow village, my mother was a medical ninja and my father was a expert craftsmen and a musician. I had a nanny who was very kind as well. I was the pride of my village as a baby, people loved me and I was said to inherit my families some day... Then a terrorist group infiltrated or home. My parents and the nanny took me and left on our boat. It was very cold..." Lyn swallowed again

"We started a journey towards the Grass country, we had friends there. My mom began teaching medical jutsu around that time, but my nanny had grown angry that we had forced her to stay with her. When I bought my first guitar we stayed in the town so I could practice. My father fell ill there, me and my mother kept trying to heal him but he just kept deteriorating. He told me he loved me and killed himself with lethal drugs, my mom died from the same disease, and she injected the drugs into herself as well, this was several years later though. Me and the woman continued, she beat me constantly but I didn't care anymore. Until one day we stopped in a border village, I meet my first love here, his name was Wahab. We had plans to get married when he was 18 but the woman wanted to leave the village. So she had Wahab killed, and we moved on. When we reached the grass I committed a great sin." She swallowed again, she didn't even realize that some tears were coming from her face.

"I took everything from the woman and beat her up, then I sent her away. I only hope that one day I can find her and forgive her..." Lyn finished and then wiped her tears from her face, and smiled "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to go on and on. As far as hobbies I like sports, reading, designing my house with flowers, and playing my guitar. As far as talents I am just a medic but I plan to master my field." She blushed, she even thought she sounded weird. She then inhaled deeply and she noticed something, calcium. A Kayuga was in their presence, she could tell from the slight calcium out put that they produced, Lyn had sharpened her senses to be keen to such things but she paid it no mind. She wanted to hear what Satoshi thought of her.

[Uchiha Satoshi]

The sounds of another saying his name doesn't so much as catch the slightest hint of Satoshi's attention. He is quite simply too fixed upon Lyn's story and her words. Upon hearing her story and witnessing her tears, the Uchiha would find himself doing something very strange. He reaches out with his right hand and places it gently along the left side of Lyn's delicate, tear streaming face. With his thumb he would help her wipe the tears away and give her a warm, reassuring smile.

"My dear, you have nothing to be ashamed about. Based upon your testimony I would assume the caretaker of whom you speak deserved whatever fate she was given. Personally, I'd have killed her, but you have a warmer heart than I. You care to only hurt others enough to ease your own pain while still allowing them to live and later atone for their sins. That is something I myself cannot do as it simply is not in my heart to allow such transgresions." Raising his hand from alongside Lyn's face to her hair, he would gently fold it back and caress it, feeling its softness and inhaling its intoxicating aroma before continuing.

"I have a very sad past myself, Lyn. I was ambushed by two classmates. One of them died that night and the other left, only to leave me being exiled from my clan by my father. My mother joined me, but as soon as we left the country we were abducted and pressed into slavery where I was seperated from my mother, never to see her again. I was raised as a slave who specialized in assassinations, surpressing rebellions, and was later liberated by a woman I grew to love. She softened my heart so much I was once again capable of feeling love. Sadly, she was taken from me by another slave assassin similiar to myself. She was killed before my very eyes and I was absolutely powerless to stop it. I held her in my arms and buried her myself, only to return to the village with nothing. I later learned my father passed away from illness and he bore me a sister. However, she too was taken from me by the very same illness that killed my father. So, I grew to hold a cold heart and to allow nobody inside." Throughout his speech Satoshi was simply stroking Lyn's hair, but he withdraws his hand and lays it down upon the table between the two shinobi before continuing.

"However none of us are perfect. Since my return I sought nothing but ways to surpass my own limits and acquire new levels of power wherever I could find it. I have killed countless people and I have no regrets. If this frightens you I do humbly apologize but I assure you that you will be safe and protected at all times..." he trails off before saying anything further. Not only would he have to ascertain his own emotions towards Lyn, but he would rather not say anything as the waiter is catering their meals to them finally.

In front of Lyn he would place dishes she ordered, pour her a glass of red wine, then do the same for Satoshi. Bowing to the two customers he would step back and leave them to dine.

[Raiel Kaguya]

Raiel continued to sit there, listening to the stories of both Satoshi and Lyn, just eavesdropping as she often did. She was good at being sneaky and hiding her true intentions, so she listened to them. She wasn't sure why she was, but she did. Seemed like a couple of some sorts just sharing past stories, but that could be wrong. Raiel didn't care too much what their status was, but she listened to have something to think about.

The waiter came by and brought her food and she nodded before starting to eat it a bit. Her hidden knives continued to rest in her sleeves as she ate. After a few bites, she started to talk to herself again. "Hmm... The Park... the store... the village square... Damnit! Where could this blasted Uchiha be? 'Go meet up with your leader' the assistant said. 'He'll tell you what you are going to do next' She says..." Raiel said, scoffing at the end before continuing. "Some assistant she is... Ah well... I find him again. Just can't forget the name... Satoshi Uchiha...." She said before eating some more, still thinking at where she could look next.

Lyn smiled at him as he caressed his hair and told her that what she did was alright and totally understandable. Lyn smiled, she liked to see this side of Satoshi every now and then, it made him more of an equal to her. She listened to him tell her how she was different than her in that she would her enemies live. She than listened to the sad story of his life, Lyn felt bad his life made her life seem not so bad. Lyn looked at him thinking of what to say and finally came up with "I think that even if you shut your heart off, you can't do that forever. Eventually you will heal, we all eventually recover in some way. I think that your heart may just take a little longer to heal. I am truly sorry about all of your loss." She looked at him with a face that was trying to comfort him all she could. He then continued speaking.

Lyn listened to him speak of what he has accomplished since he has come to the grass. She heard him say that it was okay if she had a problem with him killing. She just smiled at him and said "Satoshi, we're ninja it's our job to kill. It frightens me no more than a fly would, I think that it just makes me more confident that I'm safe when your around. He then removed his hand from her hair because their food had arrived. Lyn began eating the fruit first, placing a strawberry in her mouth, her eyes light up. They had put a delicious toping on the fruit Lyn smiled it was fantastic. She looked at Satoshi and said "Wow this is-" She was cut off because among all of the great smelling food she heard something. A voice that she didn't recognize at all but it's what was said that interested Lyn.

She had said Satoshi's name. Lyn then noticed that it wasn't boding well because it was the same place she could smell the calcium coming from. If this girl was a Kayuga than she could be here to harm Satoshi. She now spoke in a hushed tone "Satoshi, we've got a problem. The girl sitting at the table behind you is a Kayuga, meaning it's more than likely she's a rouge. Worse off is that I heard her say she's looking for you." Lyn stopped to take a big bite of clam, her face light up again "Ohh that so good!" she then came back into focus "Right but down to business we need to confront her." Lyn felt her fighting gloved in the pocket of her skirt, she would be able to slide them on easily if needed. Lyn hadn't had a good fight in awhile and a Kayuga was a prime target for one because of their unique strength. Lyn had already began making strategies whilst she was eating.

[Uchiha Satoshi]

Indeed it is high time the waiter had brought their meals to the two shinobi, as Satoshi was fairly hungry and had intended this outing for the sole purpose of acquainting himself with the rest of the team. The aromas rising from their plates is enough to salivate even the staunchest of vegetarians. The splendid mixture of herbs and spices fills the air and Satoshi takes a pair of chopsticks, then takes a chunk of the brocolli from his vegetables. The wonderful taste of the pepper and butter cooked into the plume is simply too divine to describe.

While they dine, Satoshi listens to what Lyn says about how it is a shinobi's job to kill and how she views it. That is somewhat comforting to the Uchiha as he is a notorious killer and would never hesitate. Her words on his own emotions, however, strikes him as somewhat odd as hardly anybody would care to look deep enough or even have the appropriate perception to see it.

"You are right Lyn. I may take quite some time to heal but time has a way of doing such things. I know with you around I can take the right steps in the direction to salvation and redemption, maybe even atonement. Only time will tell.." he speaks softly before trailing off, catching what Lyn is saying about the other person in the dining room.

"If the person wishes to speak to me they have but to approach and speak. I may kill without hesitation but not over something as trivial as this. Also, I've had some interaction with the Kaguya as have you. Remember Tsuro from 'Team Delta'? He is of Kaguya heritage and I know of their weakness based on what he informed me of. Let us continue with our own business and let the others do the same until we cross."

With that, he dismisses the thought of the other Kaguya Lyn speaks of and just continues to eat, starting with some of the rice on one of his dishes.
