After what seemed like an eternity within that battle, I would finally reach the ocean which indicated the start of my journey. I had intended to head to the Land of Sea but sadly, all the ships had parted and I was now stuck here without any means of transportation or so I thought. This entire time I had forgotten about the little piece of equipment I purchased a while back, an Advanced Snowboard. This device allowed me speedy travel on not just snow but over a body of water if necessary, which is what is needed at the moment. Placing its rectangular form upon the ground, I took my first steps atop the board before latching my feet with the metal braces, a safety precaution to make sure I would not fall off the board. Though if the board were to for some magical reason sink, I would probably be dragged into the deep blue sea along with it.
A slight sigh escaping my lips, a burst of hot air leaving my mouth in the form of a visible mist. Though I did get a few chances to practice riding this piece of technology, I never truly grasped at the potential of this machine thus, I would have to take this nice and slow. Slow however was not something I started with cause as soon as I could, I burst forth with a strong gust of wind emanating from the boards underside. Cold air filled my lungs as I ripped past multiple tree's in a matter of moments. I was moving much faster than I thought I could but I had no intention of slowing down at all. This feeling of wind being blown against ones face at such speeds made me feel like I was flying, something almost all humans wished to do.
Before I knew it, I burst from the confines of the wooden prison, the forest, and would soon land upon the cold ocean water. Particles of salt water entering my mouth giving me a taste of the sea, sea air filling my lungs with the scent of salt water, it was bliss yet rather annoying. Since I already happen to be upon the water, I would head off towards the direction of the Land of Sea, my first of a few destinations. I had business in that particular land, though the reason was not personal and more a matter of gaining strength. As the cold winter air brush against my face, I slowly began to lose sensation as the harsh cold numbed my face ever so fast. For a second, I felt like I did not even possess a face, as impossible as that is, it felt almost real. My how I knew this was going to be a long trip considering I was crossing over a large body of water but with this Advanced Snowboard, travel time would literally be cut in half. The joy that brought me caused my mind to blank out everything but the deep blue sea below and the clear blue sky above.
