I found myself seated upon my futon, spread out to create a bed, with a scroll before me. The words upon this scroll gave guidelines and techniques on learning how to gain control of a release hidden deep within one's body. Of course, this would be a test, for not everyone was attuned to certain elements, and that would be the challenge today; was I attuned to Katon? I placed my hands together, and closed my eyes, that smile refusing to leave my face. I focused upon the idea of being a flame; corny, I know.

I would allow my chakra to flow faster than normal, attempting to feed it the heat of a fire, and help me formulate the chakra release into a jutsu. Well, I didn't know any fire jutsu as of yet, for I'd be training into them as soon as I was finished, but I could still at least gain the ability to create some source of heat. I thought to myself of the ability to create warmth through the use of ones body; would that be any similar? I began to rub my hands together rapidly, attempting to gather heat into my hands.

Of course, due to the studies of friction and static, heat would be created, but was it enough? I wasn't so sure, so I then began to focus my chakra into my hands. To the eyes of a Hyuuga, I am sure, they'd see the light blue aura around my hands, as the warmth created by my friction began to elevate in temperature. To possess the Byakugan would be something, and I'm sure would make my own training a lot easier; still, I was only an average human. I was kick ass though, so I figure that'd balance it out—

"Guah?"

It would appear that through my mental rambling, I had created a massive amount of heat within the palms of my hands. It was because of this, I felt as if my hands were on fire, automatically leading me to react in forcing my chakra back. I felt as if my chakra were running through my body like a wild fire; an untamed one. I no longer felt pain from it, but I felt a warmth that I had never felt before without any additional help in rising my body temperature up by degrees. Could this be the Katon Release I've trained for?

Sumi Nenshou (Burning Ink)

Effect: Fills a target amount of ink with an explosive property.
Special: “Hand Seals”
Drawback: The user could easily forget which ink has been made explosive and then explode themselves with it.
Description: Targeting a set amount of ink, the user will then perform a small set of handseals. This infuses the chakra with a combustible effect, meaning that if the proper amount of heat is applied to the ink, it will catch fire in a manner very similar to oil.
Limit: Li Clan Jutsu, must know the Fire Release.

[/i] 12 in the morning. I took the back exit of the building, into the alley.

Outside, it was dark and foggy; quite the combination. I rubbed my hands together, a natural reaction, but found that the heat I had already gained through the release was enough to keep my body at a normal temperature. Actually, to be technically, the jacket was making me rather hot. I took it off, dressed only in a small t-shirt; I was still warm. I grinned, and then focused upon the technique. I placed my hands together; the seals previously learned beforehand.

I felt a heat from within, for I was not going to do this in the normal manor this technique was created. I would first focus the technique through my body, then follow through with the seals to another technique: Hadasumi Soushi [Body Ink Creation]. The feeling of having to throw up wouldn't be the best way of putting it, but it appeared that way to those who viewed the technique in the process. As if I were hawking a loogie, I'd spit out a bit of ink from my mouth. The ink would coat the ground, about a two meters ahead of me.

Reaching into my pocket now with my right hand, my left wiping my mouth off, I'd retrieve a box of matches; I was prepared. The small flap covering the matches would be lifted, and I'd pull a match head, bending it out and over the top of the cover. Then, like an expert, I pressed upon the match head, causing it to set fire to the whole match. Stepping to the side, and back away from the ink, I prepared myself. I quickly tossed the flaming matches towards the ink and backed up a distance; with great haste.

BOOM!!

Well now, that wasn't expected. I only had the intentions of vandalizing the Mizukage Tower tonight, but now my apartment building? The rent is definitely gonna go up because of this little mishap. Well, at least most of the damage destroyed impacted the wall of the next apartment building; my landlord's competitor. I covered my mouth and nose as I approached the smoke, watching left over garbage and paper float in the air ablaze. Tomorrow would be a hell of a day for some when they choice to wake up.

What time was it, I was unsure. Whoever was knocking was consistent, for that knocking continued even as I rolled off my bed, stumbling to my feet. Slightly blinking before rubbing both eyes, I'd stretch my arms out into the air; the crackle of bones. The knocking continued, no pauses, no attempt to wait for me to approach the door, and it was getting irritating. I slowly walked from my room and into the living room. Reaching the door, I looked into the peep-hole. I saw no one at the door, which irritated me even more.

"Ugh...who is it?"

"You know who this is. OPEN RIGHT NOAW!"
the little bastard squealed.

No wonder I couldn't see him, it was the landlords son; he stood around 4'7". When a child becomes a genin, they suddenly think they're the shit. This little bastard was always the one the landlord sent when he wished to send a notice of something: late rent, noise, eviction; all of which I've dealt with in the past with these people. I turned around, my back against the door as I groaned. I slid down the door and to my feet, covering my face with my hands. I stared into darkness...and soon my eyes...well...my eyes...

Was this little asshole really trying to break the door down? The nerve of this little punk, knowing full well I'd have to pay for the door even after whatever I had to pay for that he found the need to bring up to me at...what the fuck time was it anyways? My clock was but a blur upon the wall, and so I refused to stare at it any longer to attempt to guess the time. With a sudden adrenaline rush, I lifted myself up and opened the door. The boy, Taz[strange nickname :\], stood in a fighting stance known as: Iron Fist. B i t c h please.

"Get your ass in here!"

Oooo did that get him scared. He grew quiet, his eyes wider than I'd ever seen before. Of course, I couldn't kill my landlords son, not to mention a shinobi of this village. I looked in his hand to find a letter. I took the letter and read the contents: 'Due to your obstruction of apartment property last night, you, Li Fuji, will owe double your rent until the damages have been covered. That is all.' Not even a fuggin thank you? Wow, how rude of him to approach me with such a negative letter with no solid proof that I was responsible...

I paced for a moment, and thought of the best payback; yes, that's the first thing that always comes to mind [o.o;; what else?]. I paced about three more times before looking over to the boy. Upon making eye-contact, the boy attempted to give me the cold shoulder; his last attempt at keeping his pride. That devious grin grew upon my face, and I found myself once again intrigued with an excellent training idea. Whistling to myself, I'd walk from the living into my bedroom. I would not keep my guest waiting long.

I returned with a book, the words upon the cover scratched out. This book was a special book I had been keeping stored away, but never took the time to read. Toiling with illusions never interested me, for I was too busy making reality. But now? I had myself the perfect test dummy to test these unique abilities upon. He would watch at first as I got a hang of the technique, and then, he would be apart of the technique. He would experience my first attempt at creating a Genjutsu. I would study the Shadow Perception.

Description: Shadow Perception deals with the perception of void, what is not seen hidden within the shadows. The Mind sees through lights, and then through shadows. As some say, they say that the greatest fear, is the fear of the unknown. The Shadow Perception works differently then that of the Nara clan as the Nara Clan works and focuses on mainly their own shadow, as well as the shadows that their shadow touches. The Nara clan is Ninjutsu. The Shadow Perception is the fifth basic as it deals with the understanding of what the mind sees it sees and what the mind hears it hears. Shadows is an unknown force that has plagued the mind throughout existence in which one feels they have seen a figure that is not really there, a shape that is not truly its shape. The Shadow Perception brings these shapes alive in an illusionary form, making the mind feel, and believe it is real. This is why it is called the Shadow Perception.

"Tell me, Taz...you know of the genjutsu art?"[/right]Of course, I received no response from the stubborn boy. Of course, I didn't blame him, who didn't like being tied up. Then again, I do remember learning how to untie myself from a simple knot[this kid was full of failure]. Anyways, I had an idea, but I needed more light in the room. I approached the nearest window to the east end of the building, thus at this time, granting me a good source of light from the waking sun. The shutter of the screen and the sudden light was both a shock to Taz and I. I then chuckled to myself and sat upon the couch before the boy.

I looked to the major shadow cast from the boy's body onto the floor. This would prove to be good enough, so I closed my eyes, and focused my chakra. This pulse of energy I would feed into the shadows, every single one around me. This was in hopes that I would be able to have some sort of illusionary control of their them, though I knew little about Genjutsu in the first place. Regardless, I focused my chakra in the same manor I would in a ninjutsu, knowing that my mind would be key to creating these jutsu.

All I really had to do was imagine this occurring, the walls and any other surface touched by a shadow coming to life, no? Well, thats what I imagined, and as I grew more focused upon the perception itself, the further I found the reality in this illusion to come true. I found myself actually believing this was occurring around me...but that was impossible. It couldn't have been the sudden activity coming from Taz, and the light gasps I heard from him. No, it was all fake, so I continued to focus upon the shadows.

Well, I focused more so on Taz's shadow specifically, since he was the one I was really attempting to scare; how could I do that when I myself found myself sweating. I could feel the walls moving, thats how real it was becoming, and soon that gasping from Taz would turn into grunts. I tilted my head, straining my eyes as I tried to decipher what was going on, but I refused to open my eyes. No, if I opened my eyes, I'd just be disappointed with the fallacy, that is, this Genjutsu crap. Loud ahhs and ohhs soon broke my focus.

"What is the prob—"
silenced by a most horrid scene.

The shadow cast upon the floor from Taz's form, no longer rested upon its normal position. No, it was now enveloping the boy's form, slowly and gradually reaching his neck. It looked so real, and soon I found myself worrying for the boys safety; along with my own. It must been that thought of myself that lead to the shadows grasping upon my feet. It felt so real, for I felt the shadow take a physical form...but this couldn't be real, could it? I was unsure, but I attempted to reach for the boy, but only found myself stuck.

It was here that I found myself trying to drastically come up with a solution, for this seemingly safe jutsu was now becoming more real than I liked. Shoot, I hadn't even begun to learn a technique under this perception, and already trippin' out. I thought back to my academy training. I placed my hands together, a tad bit uneasy about this technique: Genjutsu Kaishou; for I couldn't say I remembered it too well. I attempted to create the handseals I remembered. The series I created did nothing.

"No! You forgot the: Monkey, Hare, and Tiger!"

"Eh? Repeat that?!"
raising my right brow.

He did so, though it was difficult for him the second time around; my hands matching each seal he told me to create; I knew he knew something of Genjutsu. Taz was now forced to lift his head back, for the shadow found itself attempting to enter his mouth. Upon creating the Tiger seal, I'd close my eyes, feeling my chakra exposed to the living room being repelled. My mind also felt this brief sensation of inner peace. It wasn't long before I re-opened my eyes. Too my surprise, the technique was successful—

"Whats wrong?!"

Obviously, he was still trapped in the genjutsu I had so foolishly created; unaware of how I did it in the first place. I began to reform the seals, ending with the Tiger seal. I then tapped the boy, creating a connection between both my chakra system as well as his. My mental state would cast this sense of relaxation upon the boy, hopefully turning the Genjutsu into nothing more than a bad dream. The boy slowly began to breathe at a normal pace. I then fell back upon the coach and continued to breathe deeply.

"Woooh...fugg this."

Ketteiteki Sentou (Final Fight)

Effect: Trapping the target within this illusion will make them believe they are fighting against the worst enemy they have ever faced. The more the target fights the more stress they put on their body, which will lead the opponent to have a heart-attack. The physical damage that is dealt while fighting against this phantom will began to manifest since the brain believes the pain is actually real.
Special: This GenJutsu can be controlled by either the person who created it, the Gm or the person they are most afraid of. That means if a person who is under the influence of this technique is afraid of an actually pc that person may come in and fight for the user as the phantom. Of course they would have to perform the actions of the users will and not cheat. Also if the user wishes they may ask a GM to role play the phantom for them. Of course these requests are optional and may be turn down. Must know Beat-boxing Basics in order to use this technique.

Description: By performing a series of synchronize beats, the target trapped within this technique becomes unaware of their surroundings and eventually blacks out. When finally coming too, they will notice they are all alone in a fog of mist. Upon investigating what is going on, something emerges from the mist in the former of their worst nightmare. This may vary from person to person since they may be afraid of certain things. But one thing is clear; the person who emerges from the mist is an opponent they have faced before. It will appear to them as the person they fear, hate or remorse about since they have defeated them before in combat or simply because they are afraid of that person. When the opponent engages in combat with the phantom they will begin to notice they are unable to touch their enemy. This will cause great stress on the person as their heart rate accelerates. In the even they person caught in this jutsu experiences physical damage from the phantom, they will believe it to be true, causing physical damage to the person. If the person who is ensnared by this technique is unable to break free within the next five rounds will die from a heart attack.
Limit: Must be a Hyoushi member, and know Beat-boxing Basics in order to use this technique

I wanted to learn this technique, more than anything! With this, I'd probably take a long break from training; period. The ability to bring my opponents worst nightmares to life? That was a power anyone would wish for. However...who was to be my test dummy now? I looking at him, though he had no idea I was. I was no longer in my apartment, but upon the balcony of a neighbor of mine. We never got along, so he proved to be the next best test subject. I had pre-read the requirements; but I needed to see my opponent first.

There he was, asleep upon his couch; lazy bastard. I was going to wake him up with quite the surprise, for I had already successfully cracked upon the screen door, allowing room for my beat-boxing to be heard. I closed my eyes, attempting to some how find a connection between my beat-boxing and the Shadow Perception. I figure it dealt with the imagination again, and I'd have to some how create this image within the opponents head through a sound that could bring that image to life; this image being an enemy.

The beat had to be complex, and soon I found myself inhaling and exhaling, my lips squeezing together to create the oddest of vibrations. The sounds I created slowly progressed into a clam beat, and soon into a much more complex beat. To be honest, the beat was going no where, for I tried to envision this story in my head as I did the beat. It had to be dark and twisted, and so the beat consisted of low, powerful beats similar to a bass. They were slow, meant to give this dream like effect.

Of course, my intent was not to create a dream, but a nightmare. I closed my eyes, knowing full well that this guy was knocked out and probably wouldn't even take notice to my light beats. The beat progressed as I envisioned a bright light, a warm and calming one at first, for this technique required I put my opponent to sleep first. This beat would remain slow, but less dark; more warm and peaceful. It would help sooth the mind, but then again, how would I be sure if this were having any effect upon the target?

I cursed to myself as I heard him wake up, my back leaned against the wall; I then chuckled to myself no audible noise. Obviously I wasn't focusing my chakra and beat patterns right. Of course, being an S-rank ability, I should expect such a technique to be difficult, but I was great at this clan ability. I waited till his shuffling upon the couch died down, and then I slightly leaned in, looking through the crack within the screen door; he was asleep now. I needed to come up with the first beat to put the victim to sleep.

I began to slowly make a low humming noise, one that would only be audible to me at that moment, for the wind helped keep me silent. The humming was a soothing one, one that would put anyone to sleep. However, dealing with a victim already asleep, that would prove difficult, so this would be my last attempt before I moved on to creating the illusion intended to be created; I could always go back to putting him to sleep afterward. Still, I knew time was of the essence, and I'd probably have to return another day.

Soon, I began this hum with a pitch that seemed to go in a wave pattern. For at one moment, the pitch would be high, and the second moment, the pitch would be low. This would create this soothing wave pattern, I hoped, would put anyone into a deep sleep. I knew I was creating the sound, but the question was whether or not I was causing any effect upon my subject. I continued this, and then attempted to switch the pattern up, creating a low techno styled beat; or a fast paced beat with little to no change to the beat pattern.

After this attempt, I grabbed another piece of concrete, lightly chucking it into the room. It would roll and skip across the wooden floor, an noise loud enough to wake him up. When that happened, I heard him grunt once more. Leaned against the wall again, I listened in closely to what he was doing inside. After a moment of silence, I looked up to the screen door; he was now approaching the door. I had to get out fast, and with agile speed, I leapt over the balcony and flipped under it, my feet planted to the side of the wall.

'Close....heheh'

Now, I was directly behind my opponent, its back to me, yet it did not sense my presence at all; the cunning of a shinobi. The beat continued to progress, and it made my question why this animal still could not sense my presence, for the sounds grew louder and louder. The beat grew powerful, almost as if it were reaching its climax. I could see the heartbeat rate of this creature rising by the second; something was happening. Just like any performance, the final crash of music signaled for the climax.

To believe, I had been asleep for two days, and not even a knock on my door. I had woken up an hour ago, but still dumbfounded at the amount of time I had slept; I must have really drained myself out on that training the other day. I wondered if my teammates had finished their training. Regardless, the mission was a failure since I hadn't succeeded in learning anything. Well, I guess I couldn't say that, since I was rather close in succeeding in that mission. How else can one explain the effects from the technique appearing, haunting my nightmares these past nights.

Still, I had this thought in my head, this rather optimistic one. Though I felt a bit tired still, and though I could always go back to sleep, I wanted nothing more than to finish learning this technique; and that, I would. Reaching for a glass before me, a glass filled with orange juice, I'd chug down the rest of the glass and then slam it before getting up from my seat. My neighbor was going to be my subject once more, but I had no fears of this some how effecting me in anyway. I headed towards the screen door.

I hadn't taken the time to put my house slippers on, but I didn't expect to be there that long. I simply leapt over my balcony to the next, finding myself leaned up against the side of the screen door. I didn't look just yet, for I didn't know if my landing created any sort of noise that could attract unwanted attention. Nothing for a brief moment, so I looked over my shoulder find the man in the same place I left him. This was the most odd part; it had been about three days since I last came here, and he was in the same place, same clothes; just as I left the poor sucker, hehe.

The screen door was still cracked, just as I left it. Things seemed to be working out for me now, so I'd continue with my training, taking in a deep breath. Exhaling lightly, I began the light beat, for I still needed to gain the ability to knock my opponent unconscious, something I had yet to succeed in. The beat pattern was slow and mellow, the type of sound that would sooth a newborn to sleep if the case ever were to arise. I staring my target down, my hair covering my eyes; hiding my intent from him. The beat was continuous, rarely changing for I felt that was my problem.

In the back of my mind of course, I thought of my previous encounter with the power of this Genjutsu. It probably wasn't wise for me to test such a powerful technique on another person, for fear they could suffer from some mental damage; or possibly have a heart-attack. However, I had to learn this technique by any means, even if I were to use one of the people I couldn't stand the most as a test dummy; the fact I state this as if he were not worth the technique says way more about the technique than it does me as a person. There were just some things you didn't do...

[/b][Underwater] training, I could hold my breath for a rather long time; indirectly granting me the ability to expand my lungs to hold more oxygen in. It was interesting how such things advanced my abilities, though I never trained in them in the first place for that specific purpose. Nonetheless, this would last long.

I brushed a bit of hair from my face revealing my right iris. It was now that I'd decide to try and wake my opponent up from his sleep, but I did not trust my ability; not just yet. I had to be sure he was now unconscious, so I picked up another chipped piece of concrete from the balcony floor. Twiddling with it in my palm, I'd stop my humming, and begin to work up the nerve to chuck this bad boy into the room, deflecting it off of the nearest wall to my target. I looked to the ground, almost as if I had given into my weaker side; the one telling me this was wrong.

"Screw it..."

I lifted my hand, and threw that rock as hard as I possibly could. Yes, I had no bounds now, because when I set my mind to breaking through a fear, I had to go through with it at 110%; this is just the way I cope with my hesitations or fears. Immediately after chucking it, my mind grew into a state of shock at what I've done. So, the automatic reaction was the avoid getting caught. I did so by rolling to the side of the screen door out of view. However, unlike my first attempts at this, my target remained quiet. Could this be it?

I wasn't too sure, so I slightly turned around the side of the wall and looked inside. To my delight and surprise, I was met with a comatosed subject for me to practice on. After seeing this, I immediately went back into my beat making, but this time, with a beat that matched the one similar to the ones I was creating two days before; during my failed training session. I slid the screen door open, and walked in quietly; as if he were still awake. I then found a seat and sat upon it, as the beat progressed. I stared at him...

[/b]"[/right]No words could describe the shock upon his face. He literally screamed like a newborn child, leaping off and over the couch. To make things even more hilarious, he started beginning his mother for forgiveness; could it be that she were his worst enemy, or fear? I didn't know what it was, but I found my self laughing at him as he began to frantically run to his living room door, and exit the building, stage left. I remained in this mans house for about another ten minutes before actually leaving. I also left with a few eggs.
