The Land of Waves, although poor, has served as a successful host to many of the underworld’s wealthiest and most notorious agents. Viewing the struggling country as an opportunity for exploitation, they bully the poor resident while setting up shop, controlling ports and overall commercial routes so that the profit flow benefited only them. With the absence of any real army, defense or hidden village, the country would be enslaved in a cycle of oppression for many years to come. Out of the Wave’s many ports, Minatomachi serves as the latest cash source, its discretionary policy allowing black-market items, ranging from arms and drugs to even slaves, to easily slip by customs and into the country. The source of the importation is unknown, but the black garbed group has recently established an undeniable presence in the overall chaotic war zone. Though many groups have vied for power and influence, these unnamed killers have claimed the top with ease, and in the process, created a new sense of fear that all suffered, and consequently, bowed down to. With such a cemented power, they were quick to abuse as their nature urged them to, leading them to often seize foreign shipments and even the country’s own possessions. Due to their strength, their sadistic treatment went unchecked. However recently, they have mistakenly interfered with a most horrible man’s business…[/u][/blockquote]
Enter 'The Black Hand'. Feeling unstoppable, nothing to them was out of reach. A recent shipment carried within a most elegant ship was seized, with its crew executed as the mobsters swarmed them upon docking. Within were many unknown contents, all of high value, and all irreplaceable. Because of the shinobi world’s lack of jurisdiction, the group has carried on without fear of consequence. However, due to a vast well of resources, this mission’s client has discovered the location of his package, as well as the identity of his latest enemies. Now armed with undeniable information, a cry to the bloody mercenaries of the world has rung, encoded for the ears of bloodhounds only. In it, the high sum behind the reward, and the gravity of what was at stake. The mission? By any means necessary…

- Open to anyone, but this event is most definitely Death Enabled!
- Due to the slight challenge, I advise having at least 500 TP before entering in order to ensure survivability.
- Death determined by Battle Mod / GM / Staff
- IIC for battles is 48 hours / IIC for story RP is 72 hours
- Three strike rule in effect – the first 2 missed IIC's will be forgiven with skipped turns and critical hits, but on the third one, you'll be subject to death strikes and event ejection. Reasonable excuses will be tolerated.
- Event is divided in three stages which can change into each other at any time – Free-form RP, Environment Interaction, and Battle Mode. The last two will require active modding per turn.
- In order to enter this event, one has to have a reason to find out about the hit/contract. The client has discretely made his request available to mercenary type clubs/bars/pubs/headquarters, not hidden villages. If you can be clever enough to RP out a way to enter, do so with a single post, post here linking me to it, and I’ll approve your participation.
