Maro had found the master of tensora sky. Located in the nearby land of river. His spear was undisciplined so far just used to scare or used as just a tool. But now it was going to become a true extension of his body. Master Su Feng stood in front of him as many students practices nearby. "You are new to Tensora. I will show you the ready stance. Where is your spear?" Maro shuffled for his yari which was in two pieces at his waist. Attaching the two pieces together and giving them a turn his spear was ready.
He held the spear in his right hand of his middle set of arms. The point facing the sky as he waiting for Master Feng's instruction. "Follow me." She held her hand out as a student threw her a spear. Without batting an eye she caught and took a deep breath. Her eyes narrowed as she focused. She turned her body to the right but still facing Maro. She began to crounch slightly. Maro followed her every movement as she placed her hands upon the spear. Maro placed his right hand around the middle of the staff portion and one near the end.
Su Feng broke out of the ready stance and inspected his stance. "Your spear should be balanced. Not heavy on either end" The bladed end of the spear seemed low for her as she tapped the wide end with her staff. Maro's arms quivered as the weight shifted slightly. "You've lost balance in your arms, shift you grip upwards." Maro followed the instruction restoring the balance. She walked in front of Maro near the sharp end.
She turned around with a fierce look. She knew what she facing."Your focus is the opponent's neck." She reach out grasping the staff closest to the blade. Even in Maro's grip she easily moved the spear down towards her own neck. "Right about here", she said. Backing away, she picked up her spear and started to walk away. Now hold that stance until I say stop. Maro did so as she walked away.
