Wait...what's happening? Thoughts such as that raced through the petite hyuuga's mind, which seemed partially unable to deal with everything he had just been told. "But but but" was about all he could say. All he could say constantly at least...

It was all to much for his poor little mind to comprehend at once. But then his memories from just before he lost consciousness returned piece by piece. His head drooped again, not with fatigue this time, but with disbelief.

His eyes, too, glazed over as he didn't want to believe it. His mind just shut down. And then he glimpsed movement. Right there, out of the corner of his eye. He saw something move, but what could it be? This was presumably a sealed room, and there was no reason for anyone but Bison to be in the room with him.

Turning his eyes, Anzai saw only the wall for a moment, but then things changed. In the middle of where he was staring with heavy lidded eyes_{Fuck, I shouldn't have let Taisen talk with Anzai}, Anzai saw the wall seem to split open horizontally. It looked like it divided clean, like the stone and mortar was simply Pushed aside.

The crevase opened wider, revealing a large eye planted squarly in the middle of the wall. It was weird, didn't seem to belong. The eye^{you shouldnt have done that, little girl. Heh heh, hahahahahaha!!!} looked around the room. It seemed amused, as the wall beneath it split open like a banana to form into a maniacal smile. And it began to chuckle. "What?" The boy asked

Unsurprisingly, the new Anzai, or rather the old one, original one, first one, whatever, was quite distraught about what he had just been told. He stammered for a few moments, then hung his head. Whatever thoughts he had been wrestling with had apparently just beaten him, and he resigned himself to not thinking at all. At least, that was how it appeared.

It almost seemed that he had regained dominance over his mind when his head lolled back to a semi-alert position. Taisen quickly noticed that whatever the boy was staring at, it was somewhere over his shoulder. The stunned expression on Anzai's face suggested it was either a hideous monster or a beautiful girl. Curious, Taisen followed Anzai's gaze and was both relieved and disappointed.

Personally, Taisen had never found the walls to be all that interesting. Neither had he heard them speak. Anzai appeared to disagree with both of these opinions. Whatever the crack in the wall was saying, it clearly wasn't making much sense of itself, since the look on it's sole audience's face was growing more perplexed by the second.

At that moment, just as Taisen thought he was getting close to solving the mystery of the really fascinating wall, a faceless ANBU opened the door pensively with a small pouch in his hand. He whispered something to the effect of payment for the capture and dropped the pouch in Taisen's hand before vacating once more.

Taisen's face lit up, and he suddenly realized that his curiosity was unfounded since whatever was wrong with the boy was entirely in his head. With money in pocket, he spoke at Anzai, unaware if the wall would allow it's mental prisoner to hear or not, "Well, that's my queue. You, sir, are no longer my problem. Whatever the ANBU do to you is now entirely up to them. I'd wish you good luck, but I don't think luck is really what you need right now."

Whether he was heard or not was of no consequence, because Taisen took that moment to vacate as fast as he could without looking rushed. Before leaving, he informed the anbu that Anzai was their problem now, and that he was enjoying a hallucination right now, so they might have to call back later.

Taipan made leave, and Anzai continued to be a bit out of it. But just as the tall Kamyuja was exiting, the young Hyuuga's right eye snapped open as his left drooped as if suffering a stroke. He spoke in a voice deeper than ealier, and with more force than just a moment ago. "Aww, you're leaving already Taisen? And here I thought we were friends.". He began to laugh maniacally.

As he calmed down, he spoke again, "You know you could have turned the little bitch earlier if you gave her a big enough carrot. And I can't say I'm impossible to turn either. You know the boy wouldn't approve, but he can't hear us right now. I put him to sleep just so we could have a nice little private chat. I did the same with the birch, though I could let you talk with her if you wish. Fat lotta good that'd do for you.". He broke into his laughing mania again, his madness shaking the air.

Taisen's exit was halted with his hand on the door.

He turned slowly, a questioning look donning his features, to face the boy in the chair. Slamming the door shut and sealing it tightly from the inside, Taisen rounded on the laughing man and imposed his great size upon the newly emboldened Hyuuga. "You're a lot more than you seem." With his mighty paw, Taisen grabbed the boy's cheeks so that the chin was cupped in the palm, then squeezed so that Anzai's inner cheek would be pressed painfully against his teeth and his lips would be forced into a pucker.

If Taisen had squeezed harder, two things could happen. Either Anzai's mouth would be forced open or his teeth would crack. Right now, it would seem to the prisoner as if both were very close to happening. Bringing their two faces very close together, Taisen hissed, "You are going to die in here. Your little dogs have abandoned you. Your village doesn't even know you're missing."

Taisen simply wanted to impart that last bit of knowledge upon the boy before finishing him off. Since Taisen had his money and hadn't been told the boy was needed, he had no problem taking him off everyone's hands. Removing a length of wire from his pouch, Taisen coiled the ends around his hands and kept about a foot between them. Strolling around to the rear of the prisoner, the wire was wrapped firmly and sharply around his throat. If Taisen had used his full strength, Anzai would have bled out all over the floor and made a big mess. Like this, though, he would simply strangle until he went limp and breathed no more.

"and so this experiment ends." As this large man choked the young genin towards his death, another man, garbed in a nondescript cloak, watched from behind the two way mirror. The tall man chucked, for once devoid of his partner, and therefor unable to safely intervien. As it was, he'd need to go collect their goods from the boy, and maybe he could salvage the other two while he was at it.

If it were the boy, he'd be scared and struggling. If it were the implant, she'd be angry and fighting back. But this one, this unexpected development, he just sat there and laughed. He laughed and laughed and laughed. He was floodin the system with endorphines. For the boy, and maybe even the transplant, it would be like going to sleep while happy. But he'd need to move soon, once the subject died, the goods would begin to degrade.

The tall cloaked man calmly and swifly walked in the room, paying no heed to the kamuja that had just killed their...subject. Not interfereing with his designs, he placed his right hand on the subject's head. Using a special technique they had developed, the tall man began his work.

Within moments, he had finished what he needed to, and leaving on his way, leaving the boy behind. As he was about to exit, he said "Make sure you do something productive with what's left.". With that, he made a motion akin to tipping your hat, though he didn't wear one, and he was gone.

As for the shinobi of leaf, his body would refuse to die, though he was on deaths doorstep, he wasn't knocking. For a blink, he man returned, saying "oh, by the way. Don't bother trying to kill him, he can't be killed at he moment. He's busy elsewhere and herefor is NDE.". The man left after breaking the fourth wall.

Whatever. Even though the boy magically couldn't die, at least the lack of oxygen to his brain would put him to sleep before Taisen had to hear him talk again. This time, there was nothing to stop him from leaving.

The pseudo kage entered the seen very quietly, receiving directions from the prison guards as to the prisoner's whereabouts. On his way to the location, he discovered that he'd missed the chuunin that captured him by mere moments. Apparently, the kid had quite the number of issues, including hallucinations unaided by drugs. What was he to do with the child though?


As he entered, he took a look to the young man in the chair. He was strapped securely still, unconscious. Gekkido didn't know what to expect of him, nor what he wished to do with him yet. The only thing left to do was to wake the prisoner and decide. Of course, after a little talk. To do this, all he had to do was pop his cheeks slightly. Of course, with the mailed gauntlets upon his hands, the light pop would sting, a lot, as if his cheek had been slapped with sheet metal. Also upon his body were his two katanas, wakizashi, and his greeves. It wasn't as if he'd need them. Rather, he'd not yet had to chance to change into other casual wear. But aside from that, when he captive awoke, the 'fun' would begin.

Slowly, Anzi began to reawake. His head lolled back and forth for a bit, and he occasionally mumbled in his sleep. Though everything he said was nonsensical. Eventually, he opened his mouth in a wide, loud yawn. When he was finally awake enough, he came to notice the new person infront of him. Finally, the boy sleepily said, "Ohaiyo".

Description: This technique allows the user to tell when someone is lying via the various fluctuations in the chakra around them. These fluctuations in the chakra system stem from the dishonest emotions that are given birth through them not being fully honest. Fluctuations also occur when the opponent may be telling the truth, but leaving out a major detail. Mind's Eye must also be active in order for this jutsu to be used.

In a very sleepy fashion, the young lad would awaken. Gekkido hadn't had much experience with captives. In fact, he'd only had maybe 2 interrogations that he ran in his life. But there was a simple and very direct manner of which this could go about. He could go through all the trouble of mind probing, which would require assistance, or he could simply pray that this would go easy. What was easy though? Very simple. Gekkido would ask questions and his young captive here would obediently obey with hesitation. Through these means, Gekkido could receive what information he wished to have without having to bring harm to him. By not bringing harm to him, he preserve the nature of the being he preferred to be. That was a very kind person, in case one had to know.


But how could he tell if the lad was lying? Well, he wasn’t armed, so there were no obvious dangers. He turned his back to the lad and closed his eyes, forcing his face to conceal itself. His mind’s eye would engage, allowing him to see him. What Gekkido could see was someone who had grown very moderately, still a novice in power, yet not a threat to him in the least. With his eyes closed, physical sight was lost to him, which may have left him exposed to some form of sneak attack, had his both of his mind’s eyes not been fully engaged.


Besides the lad, he could see, or rather feel the presence of his small chakra body contained around him. It was currently calm, as the boy had just awoken, and not yet had an opportunity to lie or cheat, or otherwise be dishonest. Dishonest? That was right. Gekkido would become a human lie detector via his sensor abilities. At this current time, the boy had just been analyzed, a few seconds passing since the boy had awoken. It was a simple task at his level of understanding, so he interpreted this current reading and presence as a neutral state. Once a lie had been told, a truth withheld, or even stretched or bent a bit, he’d read a fluctuation. So it was time to begin.


Speaking very stern and seriously, the kage allowed his voice the thud into the room. “Greetings prisoner. Today I’m in charge of your fate. However, you’re in charge of you destiny. I’m Sandaime Runeska. If you can answer my questions very precisely and truthfully, we may have you someplace more… accommodating quickly enough. However, if at any time I suspect you are lying or withholding information I would like to have, this claw may remove a bit of flesh from your body. It’ll be done very slowly, painfully, and I’ll be sure that the blood loss won’t kill you. However, having said that, you will not be cleaned or disinfected and soon enough the wounds will fester, rot, and decay atop still living flesh.” As he said that, he raised the gauntlet that had the clawed finger tips.


“Now if I’ve made myself clear, I don’t like waiting, not do I wish to be here longer than required. We’ll begin.” He paused momentarily and allowed himself to relax. He didn’t wish to read the presence wrong, as it wouldn’t tell whether or not he was being lied to. “What is your name? You are a boy, correct?” Very simple. A name that he didn’t answer to would cause the lad’s chakra to spike, would signal to Gekkido that it was false. Gender of course was even simpler. It was simply the sex he identified himself as and who’d lie about that? Still, he’d pick up the readings and tell the boy once more to only answer what had been asked.

For now, any lies he’d detected, if he’d been lied to, would be allowed to slide while he paused to hear and interpret the boy’s answers. When finished, had he spoken, Gekkido began again. “I suspect you to be a shinobi, not an especially powerful one either. So now I’ll ask you from what village do you hail, and who do you pay homage to. I’ll remind you of two things before you answer. One I know if you’re not being completely honest with me. Two, even without these claws, I could remove your eye balls and feed them to you. Oh, and three, your cooperation can make this a less miserable experience.”


As he waited for a reply, he continued to inspect the boy’s presence. He’d been sure that his chakra had not fluctuated before he began this, so that the spikes he’d detect from lying would be easier to notice. Also, the number of lies would decide if and how bad he’d punish his prisoner for his dishonesty. He expected at least a few, as just how many shinobi would tell the whole and complete truth to his captives?

Anzai wobbled back and forth sleepily. "My name's Anzai Tomohisa, nice people can call me Tomo, but you're talking all mean, so you can only call me Anzai.". He wobbled all the while he was talking, "as for my gender, it's complicated."

He kept swaying back and forth, still barely half awake, as the Mizukage asked his next question. "I'm from Konohagakure in the Land of Fire. . ." his eyes opened about halfway, showing the white pupil, "hey, aren't Konohagakure and Kirigakure all buddy buddy?" in his half alertness, he remembered that the two villages were supposed to be allies, though whether this would be accurate was unknown.

"All buddy buddy? Hmph. I wouldn't know" Surprisingly, Gekkido couldn't detect any lies. Apparently, this Anzai preferred to keep all his body parts in the proper places. That was good for both of them. Inwardly, he sighed in relief. There wouldn't have to be any violence on his behalf yet. "So then Anzai, who is the current Hokage?" His voice dropped a bit, losing a lot of tension while become more inquisitive. "I'm sure someone back at home misses you." He actually decided not to delve into the question of his gender. Despite the fact that Anzai had not given a definitive answer, "complicated" didn't ring up as a lie. Definitely not something to dive into. He might not like what he'd find out.


All of this time and his back had remained turned to Anzai, the lie detection still active. However, after he'd had his answer as to the current Hokage, he'd allow it to shut off. So now, just what to do?


Don't be such a pansy. He's a prisoner. Torture him. Have some fun. He hasn't lied yet, but you should ask him... more challenging questions.

Like what huh? If you're talking about his villages scrolls, I doubt he would know. The last leaf nin here didn't know. Or do you just intend to have fun watching him... or her squirm

Oh dear Aclime, the lowliness of your opinion towards me never seems to waver. Alas you can't always play the good guy in your position as kage. How about a little conquest, a little trophy or two for your reign?

One hand instinctual leaped to his temples as a brief flood of pain coursed throughout his head. When he did at last open his eyes, they'd be flushed blood red. Akai shook his head once, as if shaking off a bad headache. A quick whirl put him face to face with young Anzai. "Anzai" All the subtle calmness, gone. Instead, there was ice and venom, which lace the very timbre of his voice. The was a deep menace upon his features, as if someone else had just entered the room.


"Anzai how would like to make it home in one piece?" He would have moved closer to Anzai, arms heavily resting upon his shoulders akin to the manner of which a lion pounced. Of course, the question had been asked, but with his icy tone, it sounded like a trick question. Just what did this Akumu have in mind?

"Sorry, I don't know who the Kage is," Anzai continued his sleepy wobble, stopping only momentarily as he yawned loudly, "I've never met them and I don't keep abreast on such things. Another truth, not that it really mattered. He had never kept very up to date on the comings and goings of he bulk of the village.

It didn't matter much to him anyway, as long as there wasnt a despot in office, he really didn't care. "All I know is the village isn't in ruins nor shambles, and that's enough for me.". His captor inquired about his desire to return home, though there was enough hidden aggression in his voice to make one question whether or not the question was rigged.

Anzai, however, was far too sleepy to detect such things, and so he simply said, "yes, I would very muck like to go home.". Shortly after he finished the sentence, his stomach protested loudly.

"Hm... really?" Of course. there was no lie in the boys voice. He'd simply spoken the truth, as it was to him, but there in lay the problem. "You know, not knowing who runs your life and career isn't a mark of intelligence. Never the less, I'll see that you get home in one piece. I'm afraid you'll have to stay sleep for the trip." He'd since frowned in disappointment. How unfortunate. He'd never made the dear kage visit their allies on paper back in leaf. To not even know, or have known, who was in charge, left a bad taste in his mouth, their mouth.


Oh well. Perhaps then, the lad might know if his leader was in last time he'd been at home. Although, he doubted if such knowlege was privileged to him, it wouldn't kill to ask. "One last thing I would like to know before I silence your stomach. Is your kage in? This whole process could go much quicker if he or she were."

While he awaited the response, he waved at the door. Moments later, bread and water were brought in on a thin wooden tray. As if he even needed to ask, he said, "It's not fresh, but you won't die from eating it. This is prison after all. Unless of course, you'd prefer waiting for better accommodations." What those accomodations were, of if he were simply making a ill humored joke, neither were confirmed or hinted at. Akai approached the guard casually and said, "Feed him, if he allows, but be gentle. I'll check back in later."


With that, he simply stepped out the room, closing the door behind himself, and clicked on the communicator, informing himself in the tower as to what his plans were. Why? Simple. He had no plans of dispersing quite yet. Inside Anzai's interrogation room, the guard would feed Anzai the bread slowly, occasionally lifting the cup to his lips for water. Again, that was only if they were allowed. If he didn't wish to receive what was free, then he could starve for the time being. After all, it wasn't as if he could die of starvation in such little time. He seemed healthy enough upon entrance to here, at least physically.

The Kage? Anzai thought for a moment, his face screwing up in concentration. He tried several methods of memory recall, eventually opening his mouth to say "I'm not sure, I don't remember seeing a 'The Kage is out' sign last time I requested a mission. But it's been a while, so I'm not entirely sure."

Not long after he said that, a hooded figure, most likely one of the guards, came in with a loaf of bread and a tin cup of water. A little stereo-typical, but filling nonetheless. "no, this is fine," Anzai said with a smile. The Kage left and the guard began to feed the boy. "Ittadakimas'" he said as he began to eat the meager meal.

The bread was a tad bit stale, and the water had a metal taste to it, but it filled the void. After he was finished, he said "Goshisosama deshita," and thanked the guard. It sounded like he might be going home soon. That was good...after a bit, a thought popped into his head, I wonder if the computer recorded my anime...

The kid still strapped to the chair had just become Taisen's responsibility. That was going to be a fun one to explain. So far, nothing had happened to suggest the boy was of any use or any harm, so Taisen decided to use his new authority just to let the kid go. The ANBU would put him to sleep and walk him an undisclosed distance from the village then dump him. No harm, no foul. Nice and easy.

Opening the door and gesturing for the remaining guards to leave, he approached the boy in the chair and crouched so they would be eye-to-eye. "Guess what?" he said, "I've just been elected Mizukage. For you, that means two things. One, your fate is in my hands. And two, I've decided to let you go. The good news is that you get to go home. The bad news is that we can't just let you walk out of here, so you'll have to go to sleep and be hauled out."

Once he finished saying this, Taisen snagged a chair and resumed his straddled position on it, waiting to see how Anzai reacted to this knowledge.

While Anzai continued to ponder his computer's reliability, Bison, the large man from earlier, returned. He made a sudden announcent, and both Anzai and the guard had been feeding him earlier reacted with unmasked surprise. The guard's mask slipped an inch, but was quickly corrected.

"Congratulations Jenny-Mizukage-sama." The boy congratulated the larger man. The guard saluted and congratulated him as well, though he addressed him simply as 'Mizukage-sama'. He sat there restrained but innocently as the newly-crowned Mizukage informed him of what was to happen.

The genin thanked the Kage and awaited the inevitable blackout before being returned to the village.

Taisen silently thanked the boy for his congratulations, then silently apologized for what was about to be done to him. With a barely perceptible nod, he signaled to the ANBU what was to be done. The masked man left for a brief moment and returned slowly, not showing any outward sign of what he had left to do. He silently walked behind Anzai so he wouldn't be seen and pressed the smelly rag over the boy's mouth and nose. It would stink terribly for several moments before everything went black.

Once Anzai was unconscious, Taisen asked the Wolf ANBU to fetch an Owl. The Owl division, specializing in intelligence, would be perfect for delivering the boy to a location that wouldn't lead him, or anybody pursuing him, back to the village. The Owl that arrived wasn't told who the boy was, why he was there, or why he needed to be moved, but that he was to make sure the village couldn't be found afterward.

So, the Owl scooped up the unconscious Anzai and hauled him bodily out of the holding facility and toward the gates.

One character and unknown time later...Akiko, tiny Akiko, walked into the holding facility. She found the Person who was in charge of capturee turn in. She related, in brief, the events and the man's perported charges, as well as his injuries, where to be delicate, and where they clould exploit. After delivering the message, she delivered the still unconscious captain to the prisoner turn in. And then she left.
