Description: Concentrating their chakra to more of a pinnacle point and gathering it in a singular mass, the user can shoot a concentrated ball of lightning with speed equal to that of a weapon being thrown. Unlike Raikou Yama no Jutsu, this can carry some serious damage potential, leaving second degree burns and can penetrate up to one inch of human flesh. The full charge takes four movements to prepare, with one movement removed each class the user is above C.

Rui still wandered about an hour later, as the sun rose gray to work on a Jutsu she was trying to learn. So far, she had only mastered a weaker version of the jutsu, and now worked fervently on her target.

Relax, focus. Recreate that spark of electricity. Deftly repeating a small chain of handsigns, Rui filtered her chakra through her Lightning release, generating raichakra. Rui knew very well just how effective Raijutsu were, they were the rage of the gods incarnate after all, they had to be strong. Allowing the chakra to flow freely and strong, the Genin slowly moved her hand through the air, maintaining the stream of chakra to write in the air the words 'Spirit Gun', the name of a technique that seemed oddly familiar to this one. Relax, focus. Recreate that spark.

Having done this a number of times before, Rui didn't have much trouble getting the chakra needed for the tech. However, instead of letting the chakra flow almost naturally, with a minimum of influence, Rui manipulated, bent and willed the chakra into the tip of her right index finger. A spark would occasionally jump from it, but for the most part, it only made the tip of the finger glow slightly, allowing Rui to see the bone without using her Byakugan, and interfearing with the normal function of the nerve cells, creating a tingling feeling.

Rui looked blankly at her outstretched palm and recited to herself a set of precepts that she had thought up herself.
Bending her pinky finger: Relax; allow the nature of the world itself to guide your path.
Bending her ring finger: Focus; never loose sight of your who you want to be.
Bending her middle finger: Percervier; always step forward, one foot at a time, no matter what stands in your way.

Now, the lightning had gathered in her index finger to the critical mass. The point at which it could be no denser. And also the point at which it was most focused. Rui raised her thumb while leaving the index finger outstretched, forming a sort of gun shape. Relax, Focus, Percervier. Rui gripped her left hand tight around the curled right fingers and aimed using the thumb as a guide.

The shot fired off with a soft pop, fizzling out after a foot and a half. Most decidly, this was not a successful test fire. Oh well, nothing Rui could do in the morning gloom; nothing except perservier. And perservier she did. Rui again did the handsigns and began to generate Raichakra again.

As it began again to build, the young Med-nin focused on figuring out what went wrong. The electricity was at critical mass, focused into a ball. Both the index finger and thumb were straight, what did she miss? And then it dawned on her. She had forgotten to make sure the electricity didn't scatter. Whoops.

Rui began to stare at her palm again, fingers outstretched. As the raitonin began to gather in the tip of her right index finger for the second time in so many posts, her gaze wandered and she took in the sights. In the early morning mists, Rui could see several different kinds of plants, growing among the paved road to nowhere.

And again, Rui recited the precepts while bending three of her fingers, this time aloud;
"Relax; allow the nature of the world itself to guide your path": pinky finger
"Focus; never loose sight of your who you want to be": ring finger
"Perservier; always step forward one foot at a time, no matter what stands in your way": middle finger

"No matter what stands in your way," she repeated aloud, returning to the same posture she had used before, feeling a familiar buzzing-tingleing sensation all over her body as her Kikachu awoke; something that would normally have awoken her. Now she stood fully erect and awake, the pinky, ring and middle fingers of her right hand curled in, the index finger and thumb pointed straight away from the rest of the hand. Her left hand cupped underneath the right, with the thumb pointing in the same direction as the right index.

This time, Rui built the charge again as high as it would go, but now added a thin net of chakra around the bullet, using her finger as a mold for it. Now she shot it off at full force. This time, instead of a little pop, now the bullet fired with a powerful thunderclap.

As she was on the outskirts of the town, Rui didn't have to worry much about the noise, and instead was worried that if she ever had to use the jutsu, she'd miss the target by a mile. Time to work on that.

Spotting a few old cans lined up on an old wooden fence, Rui decided on some simple target practice. Rui re-performed the hand signs and took up her shooter's position. With her arm bent at a 90 degree angle, her index finger pointed straight up, her thumb pointing over her shoulder. Her left hand covering the bottom of her right, Rui began charging the raichakra into her right index finger. Next Rui straightened out her arm and tried to aim for the center of a Cambells soup can.

With the sound of a coming thunderstorm, the bullet was fired. However, it spun just like a real lead bullet, and as such, spun up and away from it's intended target, ending up far above the can to the right of the Cambells can. The good news was that it was above the exact center of the second can. The Problem wasn't that Rui needed to compensate for the spin, it was that she needed to stop the spin altogether. And to do that, she would need to figure out what the problem was.

In the silence of the early morning gloom, Rui activated her Byakugan, then redid her handsigns and built up the raichakra for another shot from her Raitonin Rivoru, or Lightning Revolver. She Fired the same as before, with the bullet tracing a path just slightly to the left of where she had fired before. But this one shot was enough for Rui to partially dissect the problem. What she was doing was creating a chakra charge to launch the bullet. Normally, this wouldn't create a problem, but the ones she made, being subconsciously created, were malformed, creating the unneeded spin.

The solution was simple, make sure that the chakra charge was created properly, not instinctual, something that simply will not do for such an exacting purpose. Rui deactivated the Byakugan went through the entire process of creating a single chakra bullet for what seemed the umpteenth time in less than an hour, heck, the last few minutes.

Before firing, Rui made sure that the charge was built properly, and the round was at critical mass. Soon, all was set for the next test fire. Rui took careful aim, lining up her index finger with the tin can. When she finally ran out of ways to procrastinate, Rui imagined a trigger in her head and squeezed it tight. The round shot off with a thunderclap and the recoil sent Rui's arm back to it's 90 degree bend. The good news was that the round went through the first layer of the can, leaving a good sized hole in it. And she had even hit what she was aiming at, well almost.
