Hours before takeoff[Open]

As Jiro walked through the heavily wooded areas of the village. He grew anxious about the upcoming chuunins. People could barely tell aboutany of Jiro's feeling especially with his hood covering his face. On the paved path through these woods he saw a picnic table.

He walked around it and sat facing the road. He pulled out a small book of his primary ninja training hoping to find wisdom of alleviating these feelings. The book was black and hard-covered, with no words on the spine or front and back. He read deeply into the book, losing his attention on the road and surroundings.

[Nyu]

Nyustukyi walked along the road. He was upset that he was not going to the chuunin exams. He knew he was strong enough but still it upset him. He noticed a ninja sitting down on the side facing the road reading a book. He walked up to the ninja and soon realized it was one of the ones he had met when the previous Mizukage died. He approached him and smiled, "I hope you don't mind me talking to you, I don't mean to interrupt your reading." he said quickly glancing around and back to the ninja."I was just wondering if you are going to the Chuunin Exam.

Jiro looked up and promptly shut the book. He remembered this person from the festival a while ago. The youth looked feminine but the broad shoulders tipped him to the his gender though his body was slim Placing it down on the table he would reply.

"No problem.. Why yes I am."

Such a question could mean he was going or wasn't. "Will you be attending as well?" Jiro asked.

[Nyu]

"Sadly not, because I have not finsihed the mission requirment. I will attend the next one however." Nyustukyi said with a tone of sadness in his voice. "Good luck to you, I personally need to get stronger and work on some taijutsu skills." he hated to admit some of his own faults.

"Hmm.." The youth lamented his lack of strength. "Not everyone is good at taijutsu. Besides that you have your own strengths. As a great man once said 'You should look up before you look down'" Jiro paused for a second to let that process, "I remember you from before, what's your name?"

[Nyu]

"I remember you from before, what's your name?" said the Genin.

My name is Nyustukyi and I know I am strong in some areas. Just I need to be able to fight hand to hand if it comes to it. I still need to get stronger in other areas as well but Taijutsu is my frist one." He said to the other Genin. He wondered how the young Shinobi in front of him would do. Personally, Nyustukyi wondered how he would do. He would have to take the missions and be ready for the next Chuunin Exams.

[DeeDub]

"I'll be glad to show you the ropes when I get back from chuunins." Jiro suggested to Nyutsukyi.

Jiro was quickly making friends in the village. Either through missions or just meeting ninja of his own village. Like Nyutsukyi, Jiro had his hang ups too. "I'm confident being that i've run into nin from other villages before but i've seen some great ones. Ones I couldn't compare to. But I will hold my own." Jiro slammed his fist on the table stoking his conidence.

[Nyu]

"I am sure you will." Nyustukyi was thinking after this Genin came back perhaps they could od a mission or spar or something. He would wait to ask him after the Exams however. The genin needed to be focused.

[DeeDub]

Jiro stood halfway under the bench just to shove the black book into his pouch. "Yep. If you'll excuse me must be making my way to the Land of Waves." He paused getting his feet from under the picnic table. "You should come watch the tournament at least. You could catch some taijutsu in action."

[Nyu]

"I just might do that. good luck with your Exams chuunin." Nyustukyi said hoping to give incourage ment to his friend.

[DeeDub]

"Chuunin... It has a nice ring to it." He said looking uo in the blue sky. "Thanks."

He jumped into a nearby tree and took off getting ready to leave for his departure.

"No problem." he said to the man. He walked away to contunie his own journey and follow his own path.
