Exams 1: The Auditorium

Toushiro was making his way towards the auditorium. He was wondering what was going to happen when he gets there, and whats waiting for him. He thought about it the whole time as he was getting there. He was looking around for it, and when he got close to it, he realized that he was heading into a strange building. He was getting closer and when he found the building, he didn't know if it was the building or not. When he stopped in front of the building, he read the sign in red letters and it said "AUDITORIUM" Toushiro knew he was at the right place, but he was stopped again.

Two men stood in front of the entrance and they held a clipboard with all the names. Qualifying for the chuunin exams. Toushiro said his name and they checked for his name, and his name was there. They stepped aside and Toushiro glared at the both of them, one at a time. Then he walked through, and he was inside. Everything was covered in black and he was lucky that he had his orange goggles on, otherwise he probably wouldn't be able to see. As he walked down the hallway, he noticed guards stood on every garment as he passed them by. He knew this time the exams would probably go through and nothing would disturb it.

As he took a left and walked twenty meters before heading up the stairs. When he got to the top of the stairs, he had to walk down a short hallway. When he got to the end of the hallway, he saw some more stairs, and this was really starting to piss him off. When he got to the top of those stairs, he saw as the windows now, were covered. He entered a room with a lot of chairs, and they looked brand new. Speakers, and a microphone is what he saw. Then he looked over to his right and he saw a man with a hat in his hands. The man cleared his throat and told him what to do.

Toushiro hesitated for a bit, and then he walked over to the man and dug his right hand into the hat. He pulled out the piece of paper and he looked at it. He looked over to the chairs and he didn't know whether to sit or not. He didn't know what was going to happen next, but all he could do is wait. He walked over to a wall and lean on it. Crossed his arms and crumbled the paper in his right hand and made a tight fist. He sighed and waited for the exams to begin.

One by one the members would enter the building. A few would take a seat, a few would stand, it honestly did not matter what they did with the chairs to be perfectly honest except to allow the simplistic pleasure of having a seat. What they all did however was take a piece of paper. On the piece of paper, depending on who had taken what would have a question, and an answer. They were simple questions. Daily questions that any normal person who would take the time to just observe would understand. Their questions were...

The sound of the speakers near the mic echoed into the room as if someone had turned them on. Those with enhanced senses would hear rustling from down below near the surgery room but could not see anything. They would also be able to hear mumbling, voices, but nothing much signifying that the room was somewhat sound proof. From the rustling of the speakers a voice could be heard. It was the young girl from before, Miss Silverstone. "Ah there you all are," she spoke in her delicate tone, with the hint of her English accent. "It is a pleasure to have all of you in the same room is it not? To be in a situation you do not understand, and cannot comprehend. I bet your first thoughts were that you are not in an Auditorium, but in fact in a hospital, an abandoned one at that." she said delicately.

"Allow me to ease your suffering with telling you all that you are indeed in an Auditorium for you will all be observing. We the committee and your villages wish to know exactly how in-depth you are with your own morals." she said in a riddle like speech as the sounds of the speakers echoed throughout the room while one of the Guards would close the door while entering into the room, locking it. "A ninja, a mercenary should have no ties in the outside world. They should understand that a mission comes first. They should understand that information is always the key. Information is passed on from one ninja to another whether it is Village Secrets, or basic Mission Information. Such information should never be given to others. We will test this." she continued as the a door from down below quickly slammed open but no sound could be heard except to those with the exceptional hearing.

The girl would continue as a set of guards quickly walked into the room carrying a struggling tall man. He stands at about 6' even, and weighs in about 195 lbs, possibly 200. The man looked about in his forties, wearing black loose shoes for movement. Hands behind his back, shackled along with his legs. He wore a red collared shirt, long sleeve at that. He had black hair, both on top of his head and his facial hair. He wore a pair of red tinted sunglasses that was barely attached to his face. His black dress shoes were scuffed along with his royal blue with navy trench coat. High collar, and with some stones sealed within the zipper of the coat, which was rather large for a zipper. He generally wears the coat open, or un-zipped. His eye color under his shades are blue, and his face presents some wrinkles, although not any large ones. The man was struggling to break free, screaming out, yelling something about his family. This was heard by those with exceptional hearing. Yasatori Yodamuru would recognize this man from the spa.

"The piece of paper that you have is the information for your mission. There will be times in your life where you will meet horrible people. People willing to do anything for that information." she said as the guards from below began strapping the man to a large flat metallic bedding, shackling his hands, and feet as he continued to scream out, spitting on one of the guards before quickly being back handed across the face.

Then Two more guards quickly rushed out, carrying a middle aged woman. She wore a red jacket over a black shirt. A necklace with a cross hanging over her neck reaching down to her chest. The pants she wore was a pair of black sweat pants. Boots could be seen, scuffed, tattered as if she was running, falling down repeatedly that reached up past her ankles. Hair long, reached her mid black, somewhat wild today as she struggled to get free, hands shackled along with her legs. The sounds of her screams somewhat shook the windows.

"Families, homes, individuals both innocent and the violent may be hurt for what you know, but the question is, are you willing to give up your own village, your own lively hood and people for those that you do not." the young girl continued to speak as the middle aged woman was shackled to the wall. Lower body giving way as she hanged with her arms up shackled, taking all of her weight as tears ran down her eyes.

The guards down below would already begin to wait, literally guarding their areas, observing their surroundings. A few here and there would take a glance at the window where the examinees would be watching. Another pair would quickly rush into the room dragging another body. The body was a young boy, looked passed out. There was no point in shackles for this young lad. His clothes looked as if he was beaten. A dirty collared white shirt. Mattered black hair with a pair of black slacks. He was young, maybe 15, 16 years old. The two guards dragged the man to a sink used for cleaning before and after surgery. They placed the boy's head at the edge of the sink where his head was inside. They quickly would tie his hands to the plumbing pipe of the sink and turned the water on allowing the water to fill.

"Are you morally fit as a human, or morally fit as a ninja for hire, like you were bred for," the young child continued with a soft hearted giggle. "This will test your morals. Each person down below will be asked a series of questions that they will not be able to answer. It is up to you if you wish to answer it for them." she said with a soft sigh. "Your answer is the key of your survival. Are you willing to give up information that you may only know to those who have captured you, or your friends in which would put your village in great danger. Or will you do your people good and stay silent. Time will tell."

The Door would close abruptly from down below just after a tall man would enter along with 6 peculiar animals, wolves. The man had Hazel eyes, an aluminous stare, and a vengeful smile. He was taller than the man strapped to the metal table, and a quite skinnier. He had a black bandanna wrapped over his head with the symbol red and white circular fan with the red and white separated. The white forming the stem part of the fan. The man had short black hair that could be seem from below of the bandanna. Creamy skin, with a black and red poncho wrapped around his upper body. Black BDUs covered his legs with black steal toed boots. There was no obvious weapons on this man because of the poncho, but one would suspect that the wolves were his companions. Each wolf looked to have the same color had laid down by their master's place, however staying away from the ones strapped. The man would walk up to the man strapped to the metal table while slowly taking out a small communication device slowly placing it on his ear.

"Thank you Miss Silverstone," the man spoke in a simplistic, elegant tone (Daniel Craig) with a hint of english accent as those from the observation room could hear from the speakers. "I will ask the question, you will answer by pressing a button next to the mic. If you do not answer you will show us that you are capable of holding secrets. If you answer, well, then the ones with the same question will have to leave, so if you don't want a counterpart to answer, stop them without using force." he continued with his vicious smile, yet aluminous stare. The man would slowly reach into his poncho, slowly rummaging before taking out a single knife. He eyed at the craftsman of the knife, the shame, the form as he blew out a cool air into the mic, the sounds could easily be heard. "If you do not answer however..." he stopped for a brief moment. "Bad things happen, remember, it could be a friend," he uttered quickly before slamming the dagger into the hand of the man. "So please feel free to press the button and answer the question."

The man yelled out in pain as his whole body began to shake violently. He was screaming of words such as revenge, and violence, yelling to set his family free as they knew nothing. "Let us begin, shall we" the torturer spoke out once more. "Now you see why the chairs are bolted to the floor, the window has chakra running through it, and guards everywhere. So, question, Divide 30 by half and add ten. What do you get?" he said with a smile as the man strapped to the metal table gritted his teeth yelling what kind of question was that.

As he heard the voices his piece of paper instantly opened and he read the question in his head there was no reason to alert anybody else of what his question was. The only thoughts in his mind was “Am I good shinobi? Or a good person?” He looked at the people they could die! They had been hurt tortured. One of them was almost his age! Why had he become a shinobi? Why had Kyogi changed so much been motivated to come to the exams? He wanted to better himself but not through power but as a medic! He was a medic to help people.

It was his goal, he would heal those that needed it. If he could stop the torturing of these people than the information was well worth it. For two reasons. Kyogi did not have the mind of a killer when he was not in a fight. Not only that but he had no idea who any of them were they were random civilians. There should never be harmless people killed for fun. His goal as a medic was to save lives not to stay quiet and allow people to be tortured and die. Not only that but if he didn’t he had no idea who had his question as well. What was stopping them from eliminating him? He hadn’t come all the way here and set up this fool proof plan to not die right away to get eliminated by some kid. So, question, Divide 30 by half and add ten. What do you get?" THAT WAS HIS QUESTION! There was a button that needed to be pressed. Already standing by a chair that was at the midpoint of the room he would reach into his pocket releasing one smoke grenade before anyone would notice. Smoke would cover the entire room but he would be able to see freely due to his M.P.G’s.

Maybe he wasn’t made to be a moral shinobi. In his opinion that was not his job. A medics job was to be moral as a person. By answering the question he would be saving the lives of these people that would be killed or severly hurt by the wolves. The guy had already stabbed the man this would have to stop now! Kyogi would shunshin straight forward due to his M.P.G's he knew it was just a straight line and then he would just shunshin to the left infront of the podium and he pushed the button. By now everyone would be confused with the smoke. Already standing strong he would say proudly knowing he was doing the right thing and say, ”You get 25, Don’t hurt those people you piece of shit!” Kyogi would spit on the ground how could an exams be made where you had to decide whether or not to kill or torture another person? What kind of madness was this? He had been tortured by his own kage he would not allow another human to endure that.

The Kage's stomach turned slightly as a frown crossed her face. No matter what her choices were this was a pretty sick idea for an exam. She crossed the room to a chair and sank into it, keeping her gaze away from the viewing station as she looked at her piece of paper. It was a common riddle. No it wasn't what the paper did contain that was important, it was what the paper could contain that was the test. This could be important defense information for her village. At the same time the thought crossed her mind: Yes but that could be Mukuro. Her village came first. She had been loyal to her village long before Mukuro, and it was her duty as the Raikage to protect her village from harm. A thought reassured her. Mukuro had enough power of his own, that could never be him.

She still avoided looking directly at the situation before her. She was sitting directly next to one of the Leaf Ninja, where they were all grouped. It seemed according to the staff that some people had the same questions. She debated questioning the ninja near her and finally decided to go ahead. The group of Leaf ninja, one of her allies, had all congregated together. "Excuse me," she murmured, keeping her voice low so as not to disturb anyone. "I was wondering if any of you would like to see if we had duplicate questions." As she spoke she shrugged her shoulders, most likely drawing attention to the Kumogakure headband she had tied around her bicep. She hoped they would realize that she was an ally and not an enemy seeking to undermine them.

Suddenly smoke filled the room and an answer was shouted after an outburst from the female sitting next to her. Hot damn these exams were insane. She seriously wanted to talk to her Chuunin when she got home.

<sub>Daisy's eyes widened as the situation progressed, one slender hand reaching down absent-mindedly to clutch at her partner's hand. This was horrible. This was... worse than horrible. It was inhumane. But, and although it sickened the little girl to think this, she knew she could do it. She knew she could let them die. She was a shinobi, a selfish, greedy shinobi. Throughout her whole life, all the little girl had cared about was getting her own way, achieving and obtaining whatever she wanted, disregarding the feelings and opinions of others. And now, her callous personality would see her through this exam. She just had to be sure her counterpart thought the same.

There wasn't much time though, as the first question had already been announced. Glancing down at Woody's paper, her heart almost stopped. He had the answer.
"Nobody dare answer that!" Daisy screamed at the top of her lungs, but apparently, it was too late, as the room was soon full of smoke. Delving into her pouch, she threw on her own MPGs, seeing a figure darting across the room, pressing the button, and answering. The kunoichi stood up, dashing over to where the boy stood at the mic. The answer had been given. Woody was...

"If i was allowed to use force, i would kill you." Daisy said seriously, her vivid green eyes ablaze with anger at this unknown shinobi. Standing beside him, staring at the sights through the screen, the kunoichi made her decision. As the smoke faded, she took off her goggles, and turned to face the assembled shinobi.

"Listen to me! We're shinobi, right? Tools of war, we've been called. I barely know any of you, but i know we're all here because we want one thing. We wanna become Chuunin. We wanna become stronger. We want some freaking respect!" Daisy called, her loud voice echoing throughout the room.
"Think about it, how many people die everyday in our line of work? People we don't know, people we'll never know! If we stopped to think about them... We'd be dead ourselves. The only way we can do this is by totally shutting it out! We don't know those people down there, and i, for one, don't give a damn what happens to them. So, for real, don't answer these fucking questions! I refuse to give in, simply because some stranger is gonna get trashed up!" The green-haired kunoichi called passionately, hands balled into tight little fists, anger and determination radiating from her fragile frame.

Her speech given, Daisy took a deep breath, knowing that she stood smaller than every single person in this room, but also knowing that she had a will to match all of them combined.</sub>

Taking my seat, it would only be soon after that would a voice displace throughout the room from the effects of a speaker. The words would play out, as I would listen intently wondering the reasoning behind the piece of paper that had been unfolded within my hand. The question was rather strange, as I had no idea to its meaning or whom it was talking about. Fortunately for my sake, the answer was given to me, as the question would have been a struggle to answer if I would be forced to answer on my own accord. Only, this was on the case, as the required information would be printed neatly upon the page, and I would await the reasoning behind its purpose. The voice was that of a child's, with an abnormal accent that seemingly fit one from a different part of town. The wording she expelled through the speaker did not set me on edge, however, the voice of which that proclaimed these words were rather eerie. I couldn't exactly put my finger on it, however, I felt a slight premonition of something indecent about to happen.

Soon after this thought, as if I invoked such dreadful resolve, the doors, which I hadn't really taken a notice to burst open as a man with red glasses was being dragged in, with the most refusing way. I could tell he was not entering here on his free will, even though he was being dragged, the expression of his face and the entirety of him itself was a struggling delinquent whom was only trying to escape. They would bring him to a table, where shackles and ornaments of torture would be placed. This was certainly proving itself to be an uncomfortable situation as time proceed onwards. I would think back on the words. Had anything she said applied to the situation unfolding right now as my eyes beheld? The words would play out, as if on repeat, however; my mind was rather jammed in a transfixed sense as the man had been placed abruptly upon the wall.

His struggling was useless as he was being held against his will. The guards would step away, and in the most exasperated sense of shock, my eyes would glance in the face of someone who I was fully dumbfounded to see. Upon the sight of his auburn tinted shades, the gruff beard and his masculine, hands-on-blacksmith appearance, I would instantly recognize him to be Akira Mizuki. How had such a kind man been engraved with such a ill-fortuned fate? I would literally almost stand to my feet in exuberance of shock. The shock was more of a fearful sensation, as my white occuli comprehended the reality in front of me, a surge of adrenaline would course through my veins. Questions were flooding in brainwaves throughout my mind, as so many questions were being asked, but fully unanswered. A hand would come across Akira's face as he would release words of hatred to the men chaining him down.

My mind would just begin to settle with the events that took place here, only to be reignited with a woman whom also would pass through the doors escorted, or rather, dragged to her forceful bed. This was beginning to get out of control, and I would take notice to the other young shinobi in the room whom seemed as shocked as I did. This was certainly the most dramatic situation I ever have encountered, and I would almost feel as if it were too much for my old heart to handle. A heart attack could be carried out through the vicious coagulating blood that pumped through my veins, and I would instantly exhale following the inhale to relax my tensed body. But, my relaxation would be all but shattered as the final straw would be pulled, as they performed an egregious act of wrong.

The voice would speak out once more, summoning vile words that almost made me angry. The fact of the matter was, I was too confused to be angry at this point, and I hadn't the slightest clue what these... prisoners were being detained for. My closest reaction were to simply ask what was the meaning of such insolence, and to inform us of their wrong doing. If they could prove they had done something to deserve such punishment, by tongue would be spared from speaking, as the proof would be established and therefore would not feel remorse for these people. However, even if proof was displayed, I would feel a slight sense of sadness for Akira the Blacksmith, as I truthfully found the man interesting, and worth the price of risking the tile of Chuunin itself. I would say fuck the traditional behavior of withholding information, for if these citizens were innocent, there would be ethical law working in favor of letting these people simply be tortured for no logical reason. If the proof was stacked against them, however, I would be forced to allow such behavior. I wouldn't feel obligated to intervene depending on the relations with the law these citizens had.

A small boy would pass through the doors completely limp with no visual of consciousness at all. He looked as if he were battered around by the men who crossed through the doors with him. My initial reaction was of disgust, however, I couldn't make any assumptions yet as the facts were still vague and would therefore withhold any form of response. They would tie him to a sink, and turn the knob to allow it to fill. This was certainly becoming incredibly malicious, as I could see the murderous intent imbued within the guards hearts. It almost was as if they were enjoying such crude acts. A man, roughly the same size as me with a rather masculine appearance would trot through the doors with 6 wolves at his side. His presence brought a sickly feeling, as I could instantly infer this man was the torturer, seeking for a kill.

He would retract a knife, placing it in his hand as he spoke to the crowd, proceeding it in stabbing deep within the Blacksmiths hand. I would not tolerate this any longer, for I knew the good in this man and I couldn't see how he could deserve such vile reward. I would perform a technique to refrain from making my voice known, and the words of which I could speak were exceptionally limited to 6, as I would piece together an appropriate phrase that would send a message and ask the correct question. I would form the hand seals from within my Kimono, hidden from view, as I would hold the Ram hand seal with one hand, as my training within one handed hand seals served its purpose to be capable of holding it with the use of one hand rather than two. This would prove to conceal my movements, as the offhand would be slipped back out into the open to erase any aroused suspicion of my hands suddenly disappearing within my cloak. Through the use of Ventriloquism, my voice would be exchanged at a different location to me, and my identity would be concealed.

"Elaborate, what have they done wrong?

My words were carefully chosen as I could only permit 6 words in the sentence. It made the task rather difficult, but, my message was sent. I spoke throughout the entire room, rather than specifically in the ear of the torturer, for I wanted the entire crowd to hear the question be asked as it would serve a purpose. If they refused to answer, the crowd would realize the unjust reasoning of torture. I was hoping for an answer, and if they gave just reasoning and proof, I would feel compelled to let such actions carry out. My question would only provide a sense of balance to my mind and to the remaining crowd, as I half expected everyone in this room to feel at least a slight uneasy at the fact they had no idea what these people were being crucified for. A question would be asked, as this would answer a single question of: why had we these pieces of useless paper in our hands. Each one obtained a question and answer so we felt the necessity to answer. It was a test, as the Chuunin Exams always brought upon us all. Smoke would fill the room, and I would instantly activate my Byakugan as if instinct rather than reaction. I would take an eye to a boy who rose to speak, and as he did, I felt his aggression through his words, however, I felt as if the statement should have removed the 'piece of shit' portion, as it didn't make physical sense to add this to it. Had he taken a more calm approach, his point would have been proven much more clear and without an attention seeking thrill. His statement would finish, I would to observe the aftermath. What would come of Akira, and what would come of the outburst?

I was hoping to receive some answers from someone, possibly the voice from the speakers to answer my question, as they wouldn't have a clue who asked it, but they would possibly feel the obligation to answer it. Depending on the answer would account for the action I carried out. Hopefully, they were not deserving of such punishment, as I felt that the Blacksmith of the Land of Waves was a good man, hard working, and deserving of a much more satisfied life reward rather than the writhing torment of torture.

In addition, and obnoxious teen would rise in annoyance screaming and hollering nonsense, which I would tune her out. Hopefully, my act of speaking would not be drowned out by this nuisance, as I almost felt like slapping her in the face for her immature remarks. What a careless fool this girl was, if I had any right mind I would easily trade the position for her to be chained down and tortured rather than that boy that lay their now. If I could answer her outburst, I would simply say, never leave the fallen. It was that simple, even if we didn't know them, to protect the innocent was our main focus. The job of the shinobi was not tools of war like she said, we were protectors of our Village, of our Country. What better way to represent a country than to establish and give a protecting hand to those in need of our help. My question would still be patiently awaited to be answered. [/i]

Suddenly, the paper in my right hand popped open as I raised an eye brow. Reading the question and the answer, a voice would bellow throughout the auditorium. Looking in the direction of which the voice came from, I would see that it was the same woman from before. A smile, however short and crude would creep across my lips before quickly vanishing as she spoke on. It would seem that the village wanted to see my morals, how I view things on the outside world around me. Well, this shouldn’t be too hard, I thought as she spoke on, eventually ending. With that, thoughts came into my mind as I discussed with my internal self on the matters and issues addressed before me. I was a shinobi, nothing more, nothing less. A shinobi is supposed to do what is needed to do, and what is expected of him to do—regardless of the situation. Meaning, if I was assigned a mission, my goal would be to complete that mission at all costs. Once completed, I would simply leave, no matter what the situation is or how it is is afterwards. My goal is completed, so why is it necessary to do more than what you were told to do? It just simply wastes time.

Another thing that the young woman spoke was about secretes that should never be given, or passed to another outside of the village. It makes sense right? I mean, why would you give another the information that vital to your village and could show the weaknesses and strengths of the village? Suddenly, I would see people coming in, with such haggard looks—looks that gave the impression they were fighting for their lives. The woman would continue speaking, as she came to an end, I knew that this mission might just be simple for me. I had no one special to me; at least, none that I have gain a special relationship to me. Those who accompany me on my mission, or such—are merely acquaintances, people that should know who they are and why they are chosen for these missions. It was a test to see who really follows their morals, who really sticks with their personality and how they feel in situations such as this. Then, a young boy, about my age was dragged in as I would look down to the floor. Was this truly necessary? Even though you are a ninja, such a ninja who allows these things to happen and shows compassion is truly weak—as they do not understand the position they hold, the possibility of placing your village in jeopardy. Shinobis are but a mere tool, however hard you may argue. Looking around, I wondered who held the same questions I wielded in my hands as I would look over to Ryuusei. After that, a tall man appeared as he spoke. After he spoke, my internal energy surged as I watched carefully for any who might tell my question. My ocular powers, granted upon me by the gods above, I watched with heighten senses.

Next, I would watch as the tall man would torture the man on strapped to the board as a bead of sweat slithered down the right side of my head. It was all hidden by my hood of course, but as he screamed in pain, the void came up and surrounded my mind. True calmness adorned my being as an emotionless face quickly took place. Smoke covered the area soon enough, but I could still see what was happening. A young man had shushin to the mic as he told the answer to his question, a sigh would escape my lips, however small and inaudible as I heard a young girl speak. Afterwards, I would keep my energy at ready for any who has my question and should they attempt to answer it, I would not hold back to try and stop them. I was a shinobi, I do what I do, accept it.

The actions of Kyogi would react. Kyogi would take his dash towards the button. But the moment a spectral of smoke would rise the word "Bomb!" uttered as a guard that guarded the door could be heard. A few fast paced handseals he slammed his hands against the ground "Doton: Rikujou Douyou no Jutsu (Earth: Ground Shaking Technique)" and the ground would shake violently but not enough to break up the ground, but enough force to hopefully knock Kyogi down due to the imbalance of running especially with Kyogi's main focus was to the button.

Within the ruckus as Daisy began her speech within the smoke a single blade glimmered through shining brightly aiming to the young Kyogi man. The blade was thrown by another guard from within the room as he would hurl it Kyogi. "Charged Projectile." if the single blade made contact, it was aimed to the middle of Kyogi's back near the spine. The projectile would release an electrical charge into the man before he would make it to the button, to knock the man on the floor. This would however be used as a support technique as another electrical attack would come forth coming from the same guard after a couple of handseals. " Raiton - Rakurai Shuryuu (Lightning Style - Lightning Stream)," the words could be heard as the guard would extend a hand out in order to shock Kyogi in order to keep the man on the floor while one guard would walk nearest to Kyogi would walk to the man in order to pick the man up.

"Use of force, please leave," the guard would utter, while the guard at the door stayed quietly. While a third Guard placed his hands together performing a few handsigns as he quickly took in a deep sucking air sucking in the smoke into his body.

With Yasatori Yodamuru, the moment he would activate his eyes, he would notice. It was not an illusion. With the button untouched, there was no way in hell the torturer would be able to hear a thing. The man from below would just smile as he looked at Akira giving a sigh. "It seems maybe, just maybe people do like you," he said softly as he looked upwards towards the mirror. "So...I will ask again. Divide 30 by half and add ten. What do you get?," he uttered calmly before slowly extending a hand out to the metallic table. He extended a finger to the table as he would utter a soft sigh. "You know, you were selected because the ninjas demanded it. A few Kages selected you as well, you and your family for this situation," he said softly as a spark of lightning emitted from his fingertip into the table as Akira's body began to tense up shaking violently showing he was being electrocuted. "Blame the ninjas for your predicament. Blame the kages for putting you here." This would be heard of course, if the guards were indeed able to stop Kyogi and his attack.

<sub>"Omigosh..." Daisy murmured, retaining her position beside the mic as the ninja seemed to be stopped, and then was disqualified. It looked like Woody was safe! As long as the knucklehead didn't answer the freaking question! But there was still a dilemma. What about her own question? What about Kaeor's question? She just couldn't let them be answered! But... if she were to physically stop people from answering, she herself would be disqualified... Hands clenched so tightly her nails almost drew blood, the young kunoichi thought about what to do.

"I've said my piece. We can pass this so easily, if we just remember, we're ninja. Compassion, mercy, empathy, all that crap, it's not part of our world. Any bleeding hearts who wanna get thrown out, then i hope something eats you." Daisy said, reiterating her point before heading back to her seat, next to which a white-haired girl now sat, whom she hadn't noticed before due to her stress.
"Woody, don't answer this, just don't answer this. We're gonna become Chuunin, remember? We're gonna be so great!" Daisy said, staring seriously into her partner's eyes, willing him to focus on their goals and block out the horrible sights before them. To her annoyance, Daisy could feel the tears pricking her own eyes, burning shamefully.

Brushing the tears from her verdant eyes, the kunoichi turned to the woman, a Cloud shinobi. So she wasn't an enemy, it seemed.
"Uhm, can we help you?" Daisy asked, breathing steadily in an attempt to compose herself.</sub>

Kana shook her head as they attempted to subdue the male and eject him from the competition. She looked away from the scene and looked to the loud woman. "My name is Kana, we have an understanding between us by our homes. This isn't a competition miss, we should look after each other here." Kana said steadily as she forced herself to not look towards the viewing room. The words and sounds of torture filled the room but still she would not look. Electricity filled the air and still she refused to be swayed.

The kage folded her arms, hiding her actions as she performed a set of hand seals. It seemed from the words of the Leaf Genin that one of them had the answer to the question being asked. If he attempted to bolt she could subdue him without anyone really noticing. Her movements were hidden both by the oversized chair and her large kimono sleeves. Her breath came shallow as she sought to distract herself from this chaos. She was sickened on one level but on another she sought only to succeed.

OOC: I don't think I would be DQ'd for using just a smoke grenade to mask my shunshin. In the cbox you continually stated we can't use much force against other people, but you never said we couldn't use any items at all. It didn't physically harm anyone, or force them to not answer. You never said we couldn't use items in the cbox nor in your post icly as well. So I didn't think it would be against the rule. I used the smoke to answer my question faster than whoever I was going up against. I don't personally believe that should be grounds for disqualification, but if that is your decision then I guess that's it. Good luck everyone else and be careful.

IC: In mid shunshin the earth shook violently causing Kyogi’s to lose his footing. Was someone trying to stop him? What the hell was going on? Then it hit him duh. It must be one of the other shinobi’s attempts to stop him from answering. The only thought in his mind was that another attack would quickly come after the first as he fell in mid air. Luckily for him he had a bunch of medical techniques that would just protect himself from harm.

Gathering his chakra through his body as he fell the guards would have thrown the projectile towards Kyogi as he hit the ground. Luckily when he hit the ground he was prepared for a behind strike because that was the easiest place to hit a person when they were disoriented. Pushing his hands behind him chakra erupted from his hands creating a wall of chakra three meters wide and six meters tall for maximum protection. This would cause the projectile filled with electric chakra to be stopped as well as stopping the Lightning Stream technique. Breathing heavily as he held the technique up for protection he tried to figure out what was going on. First he would let everyone know why he was doing what he was doing.

”Do any of you know what it’s like to be tortured! How can you all just sit there watching as it happens? Do you have no mercy for another person’s life! I am trying to save a life and you just want to sit there? What if that was you’re comrade?” Breathing heavily he had been yelling as the guard said something unable to hear what was said he would wait for him to repeat it. It couldn’t be good had he done something wrong?

Jiro had understood what was going on. Looking over the back of his seat he saw people being tortured. Their questions were our question and answering could save their lives at the stake of another's further participation. No force was allowed as the youth who jumped up was subdued by the guards who were adept at ninjutsu themselves.

"Regular people should never be involved in our affairs. They risk their lives even associating themselves with us." He thought to himself. His answer could be one of his teammates going home or thinning out some of the other competition. "You could kill your morals and emotions and be heartless to the situation at hand. Or show your emotions and morals and be killed in the process." He thought to himself once again. He would stand up from his seat in the front. He saw Toru in the back sitting also. It was hard for him to fit in especially with that flytrap thing.

He would walk to the back and kneel next his seat. Jiro remembered before their last mission they spoke briefly about how they feel about people and he knew they felt the same way. Speaking in a hushed tone. "We need to find out what questions our comrades have. So what's your question?"

So this is the test, I assume? What a debacle. Glancing at my paper, it was perhaps fortune that had not made my question the first to be asked. Yet, somewhere in this room, there was another that had the same information I have. What an interesting question that the examiners sprung upon us. Did I hold my allies to be of more importance than the mission, or was it the other way around for me? Just then, my sign burned, a painful reminder to what had resurfaced within the depths of my heart. What was I? I had not been merely a shinobi. I had been a destroyer of men, one who had lost himself in the rain of blood. Morals. Did I have any? As I was debating this question, smoke started to fill the room. I quickly put my hand on Aizen's shoulder and gave him a sign to follow me. One step after another, I would swiftly get myself into a better position to reach the button, or counter anyone trying to do so, with the smoke providing me cover as I did so.

A lone genin had tried to reach the button and it seemed force was being used on him, from what I could see after the smoke had been sucked away. Luckily, I had placed myself in a position where I could both reach the button and stop whoever was going to the button. I smiled to myself. Yet that smile soon faded away as I pondered at the aspect of the next question. It would certainly be coming soon and it could very well be my own. What should I do? Could I imagine the tortured man as my ally? Yet I knew I had no allies. Even Aizen, whom I respected as a teammate, could not be considered a true friend. How many of those did I have? No, how many more of those remained in this blood forsaken world?

In this world of sacrifices and war, I knew. One could only progress by stepping over the bones of comrades. That was a law that the Revolution imprinted into me, quite painfully. I had lost comrade one after another, even from before I became a shinobi. Imagining the tortured man before me as one of them stirred my emotions. A clenched fist, hidden in my pocket, was all that I allowed to show. For I knew that there was another thing I had to remember. No matter what, I still had to fight. For the sake of the ideals I sought to protect, sacrifices were necessary. Many had given their lives just to reach this point. I knew that. I damned well saw them give their lives for their cause before my very eyes. I would not let them die in vain. Even if it was another comrade, I would have to choose the mission over them, for the village I helped build with my bloody hands. That was my answer to this test.

However, I could not say the same for everyone else. That girl from Leaf, was it? A rather entertaining kunochi. I did not like her attitude much, though I could not deny we shared somewhat similar sentiments. I could tell that everyone else was worried. Then, the lone shinobi that had tried to answer the question for the sake of the tortured, interestingly, tried to defend himself. Indeed, he seemed to have been able to protect himself, at least at the moment, an admirable feat considering he was against multiple guards. He shouted out in what seemed to be desperate protest. While I wondered what would happen to him, I had far more important matters to deal with. I make a barely discernible signal to Aizen, who would know better than everyone else, to come over here, on the sidelines of this amusing show. Making sure it was covered, I flashed my own paper, though I made sure to give him just enough time to read mine. I expected him to do the same. Once we knew each other's information, I would feel better relaxed. Now, I had to wait and see. Would the one with the same information as me share my sentiments? If so, both I and that unknown shinobi had nothing to worry about. But if it was not, then things could get complicated. Hopefully, that would not happen, but I had to make sure I could react in time if the situation turned for the worst.

I would read the paper, a question and an answer... no, a riddle and an answer. What was this? Pffft, if they wanted to give us a useless quiz they could at least avoid telling us the answer first. Suddenly, a noise would appear caused likely by the microphones being turned on; followed by some other noises down in a different room. It would be then that the young girl from before would speak. "Ah there you all are," She would continue to speak, talking about the room that the Chuunin Exams was taking place in.

Then, things would begin to take a turn for the strange as she would say this. "We the committee and your villages wish to know exactly how in-depth you are with your own morals." I couldn't understand, what did riddles have to do with morals? The door would be shut behind me, I'd turn my head and look around; we where now completely trapped within the room. The girl would continue to talk about what a ninja should and should do; who they should be.

Only then would a man be carried into the room bellow, carried by two guards. He was struggling and would yell out about his family, was he a prisoner? What did the man have to do with all of this? I could understand nothing... The girl would continue speaking yet again, speaking about information; this wasn't just a riddle, it was information and was an example of secrets that would be valuable to a village. Another person would be brought into the room against their will, a woman. Her screams would cause my spine to shiver, what was the point of this all?

The woman would scream, then would cry; who was she? The girl would continue talking above the tears, speaking about choosing the mission, the cloud village, or a single person. A boy would be dragged in, limb as a dead fish. I couldn't help but watch in curiosity at the events, was this part of the test now? "like you were bred for" A single word would pierce my conscious thought, I hated the idea of being born for a single purpose. My attention would turn again to the girl's words as I listened more intently. "Are you willing to give up information that you may only know to those who have captured you, or your friends in which would put your village in great danger. Or will you do your people good and stay silent. Time will tell."

This was the test? Seeing whether we would give up our information for these people? Why on earth would I do that? A man with half a dozen wolves would walk up to the stage, my ferret Kaito would hiss as he disliked them. He would speak a bit about either answering or not, nothing interesting until he would say. "If you do not answer however... Bad things happen, remember, it could be a friend," As quick as his words, a dagger would be stabbed into the imprisoned man's hand. "So please feel free to press the button and answer the question." So this was the test?!? Either talk or watch these people be tortured?!?

My mind reeled, a question would be asked but it wouldn't even be mine. I had no idea what to do, was it right to let these people die in order to save this information? I was tempted to simply answer the question, but... this was my fifth time at the Chuunin Exams; I sure in hell didn't want to go through this again. The room would fill with chaos, a smoke bomb would be used and all hell would break loose. Within the hell though, there was a voice. "Think about it, how many people die everyday in our line of work? People we don't know, people we'll never know! If we stopped to think about them... We'd be dead ourselves. The only way we can do this is by totally shutting it out! We don't know those people down there, and i, for one, don't give a damn what happens to them. So, for real, don't answer these fucking questions! I refuse to give in, simply because some stranger is gonna get trashed up!"

Right! I wouldn't let the lives of these few other people take control of whether or not I became a chuunin! I was ready! I was going to stand here and watch as... as... they died... My thoughts ended here, my eyes filled with watery tears; would I really just stand here as these people die? Could I stand here as people die?!? Would I stand and watch as they died just as I could only watch as my master died? I'd dealt with this before, with the fact that I couldn't even act when faced with the life of my master. This was something I'd watched a DOG accomplish, giving his life for the life of someone he cared about; it was something I was unable to do.

What about the people that care about these victims? What do I owe them if I take their loved ones lives just in order to accomplish my goal? I would murder the people who killed Ryuunosuke if he had been killed by someone who didn't also die. I felt rage towards myself, how could I even think of staying silent? But then again, how could I think about just simply answering the question? Was there any way to win?

My mind raced, I wouldn't let it come to death for a innocent person. The Cloud Village stood in order to protect the people within the Land of Thunder! If I couldn't save this one life how could I ever be expected to become Raikage, or even simply Chuunin?!?

The ground would shake and I would be pressed to keep my balance. I would watch as the ninja would be quickly countered without hardly a problem. I looked around, there where far too many guards and Chuunin Examiners for even the whole group of us to take down. I couldn't use force... no, we couldn't use force. There where other ways to do this other than through pure force though, right?

I'd pick up my ferret and speak very quietly, nobody except Kaito would be able to hear. "Find an exit and come back to me." I'd put him down and he'd scurry along the ground in an attempt to find an exit hole, anything anywhere in the room that could be used as an exit. I doubted there would be anything but I had to try. It would be then that I'd hear a name I'd heard before being spoken within the ruckus. "My name is Kana" I'd turn and to my surprise, it would be exactly who I'd thought it was. NO DAMN WAY!?! The RAIKAGE?!?

I felt a slight tinge of anger due to having he deny my previous chance to become a Chuunin, a bit of relief since the Raikage was supposed to be all that and more, and a bit of confusion since I had no idea what the hell she was doing here. "It's you! *Arf!*" I'd walk over to the Raikage. "What are you going to do about this?" I couldn't wait to hear her plan, she had to have something epic in the makings; being the Raikage and all. I knew everything would be O.K. now, this was why she was the Raikage, right?

The kunoichi turned as she was addressed. She quickly pulled the lads ear close to her mouth and kept her voice low, most likely drowned out by the awful noises making her stomach churn. "Do not reveal me." She said softly, knowing he would understand her cryptic remark. Most of the people were squirming, Kana felt like squirming herself. This was a moral problem if there ever was one. The technique she had prepared was released but she was confident she could act fast if need be.

She bit her lip drawing blood. The way he spoke... she could not do what he thought she was capable of and it hurt her to admit it. "Kiyoshi the decision here... I cannot make it for you. I hold as much power here as you do and I have no control, I must do what is asked of me and make decisions based on these rules. I can aid you perhaps, if you ask it of me. But I am not here to be your mother, I am here for the same reason as you. I know my own decision and I will aid my allies in theirs and you if you ask it. Remember why you're here Kiyoshi..."

Her words drifted softly between them serving as yet another distraction but that too was only temporary. She had seen death and chaos in the past but it would make her inhuman to not be affected by it. She gestured Kiyoshi to the chair on her free side, still trying to ignore the horrible scenes before her. How long would she be able to hold out? This thought worried her. She inhaled deeply trying to focus herself. She could do this.

As I watched on with my eyes still activated, it would seem as if the shinobi that tried to answer the question was stopped by the guards. It was a shame, really, to see that shinobis didn’t really know their place—even if you are a shinobi when you ought not to be, you are still spared for the sake of your village. You merely exist because you are needed in case of war, and that what we are—a tool that is used to protect a greater purpose. As the shinobi dodged the attacks, I would raise my brow in an assuming manner, for a such feat completed was something interesting. As he spoke in protest, I felt the urge to challenge him in his words, but was thankfully interrupted by Ryuusei’s touch. Looking over to him, I would nod as I used the advantage of the smoke and follow him to get closer to the speaker; this way, if the person who has my question tries to answer, I would not hesitate in the least to try and stop him.

With that, I stand by Ryuusei, I flashed my paper at him while he showed mine. In mere seconds, less even, I saw his question and answer as he would see mine. Quickly putting it away—which allowed none to see it given the negligible amount of time—and watch what was about to unfold. The exams was surely interesting, to say the least, despite all the unnecessary things to provoke it. I put my hands in my pockets as they move furtively—hidden—my internal energy slowly awakening from its sleep.

Standing back up it seemed as if no further attacks had come his way. With a smile on his face he brushed himself off deactivating the medical technique. Seeing as Daisy had gone back to her seat and was at a calm sense of mind because she believed her partner was safe would give him the best time to strike. Seeing as he had been stopped mid shunshin he was directly to the left from the podium he assumed no one would take care to him.

No one would see a concealed smirk upon his face as his head lowered in shame. Yet this was just a ruse. In no less than a second Kyogi had shunshined once to the podium hitting the button. “25 is the answer!” He would glare at Daisy how could she not realize that if there was no answer the torture would continue. He would stop the torture for it was his goal. He would be a medic to help people not stand idle and watch as the innocent got hurt. Maybe he was being immoral as a shinobi. He was being a good person. They put their lives at risk and it was up to the shinobi to protect them.

— so, the exam finally starts,
the challenges are only beginning!

From the speakers directly before Miku, she was lucky to have front row seats to the entire show that was about to unfold. A soft, yet familiar voice was muttered through the two speakers before her, and curiously the kunoichi began to recall where she recognized the voice from, or rather, from whom. Ahh, Silverstone, Amilia. She was the very young female child that was at the Associations building when all of the genin had first arrived. Like promised, she appeared somewhat before them, initiating the scene and rules for Round One.

Of course, formality would never leave the child as she spoke of the regular speeches that most Jounin and even Kage of villages explain to their shinobi. That the mission comes first before the life of others, and never reveal your village secrets, blah blah blah! They always tell you that, yet in reality, when those situation do happen, and your life along with your comrades are on the line, you end up forgetting about your mission to protect them. The world isn't black and white as the guideline for being a shinobi are made out to be, there are plenty of gray shades along the way which they are obviously forgetting about.

"Wait, what is really going on..?"

Down from below, though a bit foggy for her eyesight, she knew there was movement about. Was her current prediction accurate, were they going to watch someone be operated on or even tortured right in front of them? Or would they have to each one by one, go down there and be tortured themselves? Oh..the paper! She had almost forgot within all of her curiosity, that she still held the unopened paper within her hands that held a question and answer of some sort. Her fingers quickly opened the paper, while still trying to pay attention to what was happening below by just listening to the man's next words through the speakers. Her head would be titled down slightly so no one could see her question/answer, and then once she memorized it she folded it up.

Great, one of those typical events that their leaders had always told them about, and tried to prepare them for, would be a task for the exam. You would think that all of the genin within the room would be well prepared for this scenario, but unfortunately it didn't seem to be the case. The Medic didn't know who else had her question, but she honestly didn't care. She was by far, the closest one to the microphone seeing as she wasn't afraid to sit within a chair, directly in front of it. Once her question would be ask, if she decided to say her answer, by God, she would. Her partner told her not to let anyone get within her head and psyche her out, and with a soft whisper, she would respond, "I won't."

You Are Disqualified!

The first question was up, and almost immediately as it was asked, a shinobi from the room would unleash a smoke bomb and all that was audible from a voice someplace else was, "A bomb!" Great, chaos already. Still remaining fixated within her seat, Miku would try to focus on the task at hand. She was a great intelligent shinobi who used her analytical skills to help her teammates survive any challenge that comes their way, but what if it was her teammate down their, Nagatose, or even Asuka? Would she trade her village secrets for them, or protect them, even at the cost of endangering more people.

Gripping her paper slightly, in the midst of the destruction around her, she bit her lower lip. ...Damn it, all of it.

She knew what her answer would be, and it actually scared her. Deep in her heart, she knew that she would have to face this decision and make a final choice. Her comrades meant everything to her, and as a medical shinobi, she would protect them with her ability to the best she can. However, her teammates wouldn't always be there for her, but the village would. All of her training, and experience, was made possible because of the village as a whole, could she truly give that up, for several people? And what if it were the other mist shinobi down there, instead of this stranger? Would her feelings change even a bit?

The many other shinobi in the room began to scatter amongst themselves. The guards attempted to take down the loud shinobi who caused the smoke in the room, and another girl with green hair from afar began to speak to the entire group, explaining to them that they shouldn't reveal their answers to the man within the surgery room below. How did Nagatose and Asuka feel during all of this commotion, or hell, even the entire set up? Would they reveal their answers, or attempt to stop the other person who had their same answer? With her right hand still gripping the paper tight, her left hand slapped onto her forehead as she let out a deep sigh, trying to think to herself, what would she do when her question arrives.

— For some reason; the girl felt so alone,

'Hmm?' Kaeor eventually opened his sacred folded paper as it held quite the question inside of it. It was one of those rather troublesome riddles that was kinda meant to screw over the reader with it's troublesome diction. But luckily the answer to the question had been placed upon the same paper as the youth began to wonder what was the meaning of such. But before the raspy genin could even think anymore about the mysterious paper his ears would become accustomed to a new sound filling the room. Somehow the speakers throughout the spacious hospital had been activated as a familiar female voice would let her voice be heard through the technology. But as she quickly butchered Kaeor's previous thoughts about the setting being a hospital he would wonder just what they were to observe in the auditorium.

It was clear that she was the very God in such restricted circumstances as she informed everyone about what it means to be a shinobi, regardless of how valuable they regarded their nindo. The actions of the various guards wouldn't go unnoticed though as one invaded the room during the extensive announcement fastening the door behind his nigh surreptitious entrance.

One by one, estranged and even unconscious prisoners would be dragged inside the auditorium. Their faces were distorted with incessant pain as their lithe frames were shackled and carried. But the announcer was steadfast to her agenda as she continued telling the shinobi about the very things they had learned to understand as they grew older.

Sacrifice. Pain. Struggle.

These were all common things that had to be done by the average ninja to ensure the safety and protection of their village and family. But Kaeor wouldn't feel all that much graced as a new voice took charge and instructed them of what was currently going on. The presence of all six of his first wolves nearly made Kaeor feel tense due to the fact that anything could happen at a moment's notice. In a bold tone he would make his orders and will beyond clear as he accentuated his sterness by impaling the hand of the shackled man. He would trail such an bloody action with the first question as Kaeor merely saw that it wasn't his own.

But it wasn't long before the first nut in the room "cracked". He would dart forward enraged by the actions of the officials, going so far as to cloud the room in a smoke that hindered the sight of many. The very ground they stood on began to shake as Kaeor kept his balance as he concentrated on such. Swiftly the irksome shinobi was captured before being asked to take leave since he had already broken one of the rules of the exam. But then a gentle voice pierced his hearing range as he turned his head to see someone with ironically the same irregular hair hue as himself. Instantly he visually scanned her as a single brow would ascend as he took a mental photo of her that he would store within the flooding banks of his memory. She seemed interested in the very question that he had himself as he wondered what the true value of his answer could hold. He didn't even know her name as he kept his arms hidden inside of his coal black kimono as the sleeves merely dangled in an aloof state. "Show me your paper and I'll tell you whether we share identical information." he stated noticing the Kumogakure armband that she had tied to her bicep. Yet his own headband was hidden from plain sight as he awaited the decision of the shinobi. But a stranger to him but an ally her would exclaim, "It's you!, to her as he walked to her side. Yet the female acted in an assertive manner as she turned and pulled the lads ear to her mouth so her words were a whisper. Such an action revealed her in different light than the neutral one from before as the boy would take caution, still awaiting her answer but thinking of his own approach. Before she gave it to him another outburst followed as Daisy's temper exceeded normal levels as she screeched out commands to the shinobi that encompassed the area. He wouldn't interrupt nor comment upon the speech as her anger was fueled by the mistake of the medical ninja [Kyogi]. He would only find himself giving a quick look towards Yasatori with an expression that clearly showed how puzzled he was by the situation and what was all going on. And with a small gesture he would beckon his partner forth to his right side in hopes to speak to him.

But the mind of the youth would be invaded as a whisper traveled like the wind across the room stating a question that seemed the best to ask in order for them to know what route to pursue with these captives. Kaeor would hear the eerie remarks of the torturer. It seemed that there was more to the story than what Miss Silverstone had introduced to the crowd of eager ninja. Though Kaeor knew nothing about neither the man, woman, or boy. In his opinion the matter was one that didn't involve him as he knew there were sacrifices that had to be made.

If the ninja [Kyogi] managed to hit the button and reveal the answer to the simple question Kaeor wouldn't say a word. It was obvious that he had chosen his nindo over the protection and safety of his village. But he knew that Leaf's fiery little emerald haired princess would be quite upset as he himself also began to loathe the persistent ninja.

I open up the paper only to find such a silly question that would be an insult to my genius brain. Even Greed the bird brain was able to solve it with ease. But as genius as I am, I only found out that they have given the answer after about a few seconds. What genius Woody, well done, well done. All was happy go lucky for me until I saw the brutal image of torturing and pain of innocents which would move my guilt a bit. I had tortured kids before when I was a young bully and it was all joke and fun but this was serious business. The rules of this exams was even more serious, the answer in the paper would meant life and death for the prisoners. It was no joke.

"Divide 30 by half and add ten. What do you get?"


"What the..."

I almost spited out my chewing gun as sweat drops over my face like it was raining after reading the paper to confirm the question again. Maybe it was Greed's bad omen or just plain bad luck, I can't believe that I got the answer for the first question. Seeing the prisoner in front suffering I could not bare to just shut my mouth like that. Before I could do anything a ninja would cause a commotion at the front of the room only to be stopped easily by some skilled guards. He was told to leave immediately after breaking the rules, it was quite sad as I didn't want to end up like him. But my parents wouldn't be proud of me being so inhumane, only caring about the chuunin title and nothing else. Thoughts began rushing to my head as I was challenged between what was right and wrong.



"Stop this."

Everything seem silent to me as my ears couldn't pick up anything from my surroundings, the cries of the participants questioning the examiner, the repeated question, I couldn't hear anything. My face was all blank as I didn't know what to do. I was like being trapped in a dark room all alone like under a genjutsu. Suddenly, moans were heard from all direction as tortured prisoners was crawling towards him. "Save us! Push that button!" They kept repeating, crawling nearer and nearer towards the frightened me. A red button then appeared floating right in front of me. What the hell I was sitting at the back of the room how did the damn button get so close. I always thought that being a ninja would meant awesome fights and saving girls but never had I thought I would be in this situation. The prisoners were crawling nearer and nearer, pushing me to my limits. My shivering right hand gave in as I couldn't take this anymore, approaching the troubling button. It was so tempting. Pressing this would end all this headache and the suffering of the prisoners around me. But I was interrupted by a sudden pain on my left ears. Greed seems to have bitten me to smack me back to reality.

"Woody, don't answer this, just don't answer this. We're gonna become Chuunin, remember? We're gonna be so great!"

These words would be send screaming right in front of me, and seeing Daisy's eye teary got to my heart, I never thought I was so emotionally weak. I always thought I could be the stronger one, comforting Daisy if she is down and saving her from danger, but I was wrong all along as it was all the opposite. She seems so focused of her goals, even thought she would feel sad for the prisoners, the Kunoichi would not lose sight of her purpose. The purpose of entering this exams is to advance to the next rank and I would do just that, along with Daisy.

Seeing the eliminated shinobi attempt to push that button again was hard. He would be taken down again by those guards seeing that the pitiful ninja did not stand a chance the first round. And if he somehow manage to get through and press the button. It would not be valid as he was already eliminated and his actions would not mean anything in this exam.

I have no answer for the examiner and was firm in keeping my mouth shut. Yes you could say I am cold blooded but who the hell cares about what you think... This is my life.
