[Ashi Kemuri Tenma]

As Ashi lef the classroom, he was satisfied and content, thinking he had mastered it. He headed back to the dojo to show the new technique to Sakura; she would be impressed.

As he drew near the dojo, Ashi heard some strange sounds coming from within. Hurrying inside, Ashi was amazed at the sight before him.

Contrary to his original beliefs, apparently Sakura COULD fight. She stood on the deck and was still smoking, but was firing off hoops and shooting fireballs at them. However, her fireballs make sudden turns, passing through different hoops. She continued a rapid firing of fireballs, the movement of them through the air almost like a dance. Sakura then noticed Kemuri staring at her technique, his mouth hanging open.

"Never seen that before, have you? Well, I can teach it to you if you want: you look like you are feeling good enough to learn it. Come over here and I can show you how to do it."

Rather than tell her he already knew it, he wandered over and waited for her advice. As she began speaking, he payed attention.

"So what you have to do is make the smoke rings, but then give different amounts of chakra in them. But remember; this can be used for all Fire techniques, not just the weak fireballs. So this is how we are going to do it. As I give the commands, you will follow along and do what I say," Sakura told Kemuri.

She started rattling off a list of instructions; she began by saying the handsigns, which Kemuri already knew, but then she began to talk about the chakra connection and-

"Wait, what was that last thing about chakra connection?" Ashi asked, this time paying much more attention to the answer.

"Just what I said; if you remain in control of your chakra you can move the rings while they are in the air. Also, make sure to keep a connection between all of them, or the fireball's path will falter and your technique will fail."

Now this was something Tenma hadn't read in the scroll; apparently, you needed to retain the connection to the chakra even after it was outside of your body. Following through, he tried to connect chakra to some of the smoke rings in the air. They were much more responsive than he thought; with little more than a thought he was able to move them around in the air.

"This is awesome!" Kemuri said, all caught up in being able to control the direction of the smoke rings.

"Can we move on?" Sakura asked, and Kemuri quieted down and waited for further instruction.

"Ok, now comes the tricky part. Instead of blindly relying on chance in order to make the jutsu work, we are going to use chakra to complete the awesome might of the technique." Sakura said, intriguing Kemuri to ask her a question.

"By using chakra, what do you mean?" Kemuri asks blindly, taking the part of the loyal student in order to play on Sakura's stronger points.

"I mean that we are going to release chakra through the connection into the hoops, making their pull on your fire techniques even stronger. Let me demonstrate." Quickly setting up the technique, Sakura fired a ball of fire straight forward, and it gently curved towards the right and through the chosen smoke ring.

"Now watch this." Sakura did the same thing, but a look of concentration remained on her face even after the fireball left her hand. For a brief moment, the smoke ring seemed to pulse, and the fire ball made a sudden ricochet movement, making a 90 degree turn to the right at a speed that baffled Kemuri. It looked much mroe dangerous, due to the sudden change.

"Now do you get it?" Sakura asked. "Try it and see if you can do it correctly"

Ashi was super ready now, wanting to be able to perform this jutsu not as a ninja, but as a master. He thought about what he had to do for a quick second, then tied a chakra connection to the smoke hoop and fired a fireball to the left of it. Suddenly sending chakra along the connection, the ring pulsed in response and the fireball went shooting to the right, passing through the smoking hoop without a decrease in speed.

"There, I think you have it!" Sakura said, her face in a smile. "Good job! Now will you go get something to eat with me? I am STARVING!"
