NonePersonality:
Kaite is a rather average kid. He has his fears, his dreams, his goals, his likes and his dislikes. For most in the ninja world, he is what most would call the average joe. He's got only one parent, doesn't really have a set goal in mind for the future, and wants to become strong enough to protect those in which he loves. It's not that he's a good kid, it's just that he knows what he believes is right.Appearance:
He's not much of one for talking, but with a few words he can say pretty much everything he'll ever need to say in a context of situation. He's found that the best way to express oneself is to do so minimally. For the most intelligent of people tend to keep their mouths shut, only until they need to speak up. Still, he'll listen to others who do talk and speak enough so that he keeps a conversation going, rather than just being a wall to talk at.
Only having begun his education to become a ninja about a year ago, Kaite is beginning to learn about ninjutsu and chakra at this point. It's a great interest for him, but only so long as it's new information that he's learning. He wouldn't mind repetition if it were for actually learning to maintain his chakras and learn jutsu, but he isn't the type of person who would be willing to hear a lesson over and over again. Once he hears something the first time, it's usually embedded into his brain. It doesn't take repetition for him to remember something. This may be an important attribute later on in life.
Though social in comparison to some ninja, he does like having time to himself. He even sets aside at least an hour or so each evening to spend by himself. In this time, he usually spends it in quiet peace, either at a later time of day or early into the night. The darker it is, the easier it is for him to concentrate and think to himself, but at times he may not have such time to commit to this ritual. He started this routine of spending alone time in the evening, just after Higure's disappearance.
Kaite is a friendly kid to most all he talks to. As a personal creed, he tends to treat others about the same way they treat them. So the only time he'll ever talk unkindly toward someone, is when they treat him as such first-hand. This isn't to say that this is a perfect science. For he does have his own personal taste in appearances, and being able to make his own judgments off of first impressions or appearances, he may treat someone distastefully before even getting to know them. But for the most part, he tends to keep a friendly attitude toward others.

Standing at four-foot five, and weighing just over eighty pounds, Kaite is rather average for his age. He normally has dark black hair, but recently he bleached the top portion of his hair white so that it sits like a cap atop his head, the underlying black hair somewhat seeping out from beneath it down the sides and back of his neck. With brown eyes and a darker complexion, Kaite is an average looking boy. The only thing that really sets him apart from the rest is the bleached-white portion of his hair.Bloodlimit: none
Physically, Kaite is slim and lean. He's not muscular and isn't very strong, so his weight is affected in that he is lighter than he should be. He's got no scars or damaged tissue on his body to this date, but he does have a pale patch of skin that looks like a birthmark, on the upper portion of his left shoulder-blade. This may be a birthmark, but it also may be an early sign of cancer building up on his skin. Tests so far have been inconclusive.
On most days, he can be seen wearing a dark-brown t-shirt with black rune markings on the chest to resemble the shape of an S. With this he'll wear the common thong-sandals that most Rock-ninja wear in town, along with a pair of dirty-white socks and black shorts that go just to his knees. It's a rather simple outfit, but for the warm and dry weather that the village gets, it's almost perfect for any casual occasion.

NoneHistory:
A boy was born unto a partnered couple of Kizuki and Osuko. Osuko was an elder Genin ninja for the hidden rock. Kizuki, a younger woman who worked as a clerk for a nearby grocery store. Though their life was simple, living in an apartment only a few blocks from the center of town, they had fallen under difficult times with money soon after their son was born. Osuko, who had an on-the-job accident, was currently on absence of work and missions. This meant that Kizuki had to work hard enough to make money for the both of them. And as hard as she worked, the two couldn't support a child and their own lifestyle. It was on this that Kaite was given up to the care of two friends who had always wanted their own child.
The boy would never learn of his true parents, but only know the two as friends of his adoptive mother and father. Taking on their last name was only essential for the illusion of reality, and Kaite would grow up as a child of Yoraitsu Higure and Jii.
Higure was actually a craftsman who owned his own shop next to the academy. One of many blacksmiths employed by the village to supply weapons for the various ninja of the village. He would spend most of his time away from home, working late into the night as he crafted these items for use. Jii was a housewife who cared only for raising the adopted child as if he were their own kin. And with as much as Higure made from crafting weapons, she needn't even lift a finger toward earning money for their lifestyle.
Because of this, Kaite spent most of his days at his (adoptive) mother's side, accompanying her wherever she might have gone. This included shopping, visits to friends and neighbors and even when she went out to lunch. The only time he had away from her was when he was out playing with the other neighborhood children, or when Higure took him out to spend time with him. Kaite liked to play games, but he most commonly preferred spending time with his (adoptive) father. That was until Higure left the village on a mission to personally deliver an order that he had been working on for a while. He never came back. Kaite was only six when this happened.
Jii was able to take care of Kaite, using the money that Higure had saved up over the years. But without a fatherly figure, he had an empty spot in his heart that couldn't be filled. He grew somewhat disconnected with his (adoptive) mother after this point, and would begin to spend less and less time with her and more alone than with anyone. He eventually got over Higure's disappearance and began to become more social once again, but not quite at the level he had been at prior to this happening. Jii, noticing that Kaite was losing his hue and personality that she loved about him, would enroll the boy into Iwa's ninja academy. Though she could never tell him who his parents really were, she thought that through the ninja program he could discover his own true person for himself.
The last year at the academy, Kaite has spent learning how chakra works and to train his physical body. He has also begun to practice technique and aim in using the basic tools of a ninja in Iwa. Though not at the head of his class, he is beginning to show promise as a student, and one day hopes to become a great ninja so that he might protect others from a death like Higure was said to have suffered.
